Ok, so this needs to be updated but i can't go above 5 stars. This new location is beyond amazing!…read more I originally came here after moving back from Chicago and then moving to Los Angeles (Beverly Hills). I fly home to Syracuse to see Ashley. I'm not kidding. I schedule my vacations around it. The thing is.. over those 8 years my life took some massive downs (some ups) - Ashley became one of the most true and honest people in my life. My cancer treatment started and I decided to cut my hair short - and she did that cut for me (free). My mom died and she reached out and said "come relax and get your hair done - you'll need it before the services" That's someone who truly cares (again didn't charge was just being a good person). She has become a trusted friend, and honestly my hair has never looked better. I cheated on her recently my (ex) doesn't understand how hair works and how it's a part of you (no fault he is almost bald). Ashley did my hair yesterday and we went for a pride theme! OMG. It's insane! This is magazine ready and I'm no supermodel! Marisa's is a creative space where all are included! I've met Marisa maybe 2x and she's a delight!

Before I found her on a whim during my sophmore year of college, I typically got my eyebrows waxed at various nail salons. Unfortunately, I have very sensitive skin and those experiences rarely ended well. Karin's room is cozy and eclectic, which mirrors her personality. During the appointment, she usually has good music playing in the background. She is meticulous and takes her time, which leads to great results. I wouldn't see anyone else for waxing services!

This is an updated review! See my previous review for other…read moreservices feedback! Thank you Another Service with Casey eyebrows! I was doing a Brazilian waxing and I asked her if she has sometime to do my eyebrows, she was very helpful and offered some extra time to do my eyebrows. She is an artist, she did them exactly the way I wanted them to be. She used hard wax and it was great experience! Usually my face turns red when I do regular or threading but this time it was fine. She used calming spray with cotton which also helped a lot. I highly recommend going to her if you want Brazilian or eyebrows done. She is professional! Another service with Jillian Haircut! First I need to say that I needed an extremely early appointment 6 AM (for real) they do not even open until 8 AM, but they were extremely understanding, helpful, supportive, and they really care about your needs! So they scheduled me for an 6 AM morning to do my hair! The haircut itself was fabulous, last year I did very bad haircut and I wanted to grow it so I can fix it, I only trusted Jillian to do my hair which I am glad I did at the end. I saw her for hair consultation before and I felt she understands your needs and she really cares about what you want to have. Also, she seems that she is very knowledgeable about the new haircut trends and modern styles. She did an amazing job fixing the old hair cut, she followed my direction exactly regarding the length and the results are amazing! The haircut is done perfectly! And I did hair style with her as well, I was thrilled that she did exactly what I had in my mind, even though I haven't showed her any pictures, just explained what I want! I feel this salon has gathered all the talented people in town and put them in one place. I highly recommend this salon! I would have giving them more than 5 stars if I could! I travel a lot and I tried lots of places, this is a great one! Good luck everyone!

Quite honestly the greatest experience one could receive. I…read moresee jillain and have been for about three years now. I even take my kids to the salon to get the full experience! The prices are extremely fair, the atmosphere is relaxing, the people are so kind, and they are so friendly! Best hair salon ever!

Do not get laser hair removal here, it is both over priced and needlessly painful. Previously back…read morehome I was getting lasering on my face and neck for $40 per treatment. There was slight to no pain, it was over in 1-2 mins and any inflammation disappeared by the end of the day. It was gorgeous, clean, and knowledgeable while this looked like somewhere I'd get a regretful back tattoo. On the topic of tattoos, I have plenty, on my arms, back, collar bone, and not a single one of those compared to the pain I felt here. As a matter of fact even breaking my leg or toe and walking / running on them was more bearable than this. The only pain worse than this was when my appendix ruptured. Regardless I sucked it up, and dealt with the pain (and smell of my burned face which is a uniquely awful and disgusting smell btw). There was apparently no way to turn down the Candella settings or she simply didn't care. When I finished there was definitely a moment of shock on her face, perhaps at the fact that I looked like I'd had acid poured on my skin. She sprayed some sunscreen on (which burned and also not a single spray spf is FDA approved in the United States because they mostly don't offer full or completely needed spf coverage). I paid and was sent on my merry way. It cost $215.00 not including tip... $215.00 for the worst pain imaginable. The best part, is this is simply the precursor to the fact that now 5 days later my face is STILL erupting in red, swollen cystic acne and burns, with no signs of slowing down. I'm Asian, so I also know my skin if it does ever heal will be covered in dark marks / spots (post inflammatory hyper pigmentation) that I will then have to spend $100's-$1000's of dollars to get rid of either through more treatments OR topical products. Every other Derm and Esthi I have talked to / facetimed to show the now lunar landscape that is my face has an audible gasp and cringe. I used to have good skin, my job involves me being on camera, and now my face is so screwed up I have barely left my house in 5 days, and am embarrassed to be around any other human being. As someone who had previously gotten FIVE rounds of laser and never had a problem, this is a particularly awful experience, and now I am forced to deal with intense pain, and semi-permanent scarring. Do Not Get Laser here, I promise you the pain is not worth it, at all. PS: I'd just like to throw in stop trying to sell people the coffee scrub too, the claims made about it on the website aren't even scientifically or biologically possible... No activated charcoal does not "make your pores smaller" (that's actually physically impossible!) nor does it "suck out dirt or toxins" re: There is "little to no" evidence to substantiate the claims skincare companies are making, according to a July 2019 article by researchers at the University of Miami. Beyond that, they write, the use of activated charcoal in skincare products is unregulated. Because these products don't claim to treat or cure a diagnosable medical condition, the FDA isn't forced to regulate what goes in them or how else they advertise themselves. - https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0738081X19301361 Further claiming it can help cellulite is also a BS claim, the only scientifically proven procedures involve lasers, liposuctions, or cryofreezing application. "No over-the-counter remedy has been shown to be effective in treating cellulite. That includes creams marketed to cure cellulite that have ingredients such as caffeine, antioxidants and herbal supplements," -- Dr. Dawn Davis, Dermatology, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota Maybe I'm the idiot for not doing my due diligence, and reading reviews vs seeing a website chockfull of pseudo science, but either way I cannot express emphatically enough how horrible this experience has been. If you have scars (which if you go here you most likely will) a scrub wont fix your face, at least not the coffee scrub in a plastic bag. Alpha Hydroxy, Beta Hydroxy, or Poly Hydroxy acids, Vitamin C, or topical Retinoids are your best bet.
