Such a great Route 66 find!…read more We're camping our way along Route 66 and stopped at Front Porch Bakery around 11 a.m. hoping to try one of their cinnamon rolls. The singles were already sold out, so naturally, we bought the 4 pack instead. The woman behind the counter was so sweet and kind. She recommended eating the cinnamon rolls warm and even took one out of our pack and heated it up for us to enjoy right away. SO GOOD! My husband described it as "Cinnabon on steroids," and that pretty much sums it up. Huge, gooey, warm, and delicious! The shop also has lots of other goodies inside. Since we're camping Route 66, we're planning to warm up the rest of our cinnamon rolls over the campfire. We can't wait to try them that way!

She posts her specials of the week on Facebook so you can always check to see what she's got in store, she also mentioned to me when I picked up my first order that if I liked a specialty cupcake I could always call ahead and order. I came by one more time a couple weeks ago to get some cupcakes as a gift but also got an order of her chocolate cupcakes as well as peanut butter for us so we could try a couple of her staples. They were excellent as well though my favorite is still the watermelon and blue raspberry lemonade because they were so unique and surprisingly good. Will definitely be back soon!

I was very excited to try this place as cake is my absolute favorite…read more The cakes are not consistently good - the chocolate cupcake was extremely dry while the Chantilly cupcake was excellent. The lemon bar was quite good and the cherry pastry was amazing, but the margarita cupcake was dense and disappointing in flavor. My chicken salad wrap was okay but I didn't like all the tomatoes and onions, it gave the wrap a pico de gallo flavor and didn't pair with the sweet chicken salad at all. The breakfast burrito was *very* strange - my husband got the turkey one and it was literally just eggs, potatoes, and turkey lunch meat chunks in a tortilla. Dry, no salsa or anything at all. He said it was quite odd. The baked potato soup was a disgusting snot queso, not soup at all. I actually took it back, I rarely ever do that. The kids didn't like the ham in their lunch able, and I have say, neither did I. Quite disappointing. Come for sweets only I would say.
