Just came to pick up the gown, now 3 weeks before the wedding and I don't even need a second alteration. She hit the nail on the head first time! Maggie also created a beautiful bustle for my dress, so simple to hook and latch- it was more beautiful than I expected! Highly suggest coming in here for all your alteration needs, my mom has been going here for years! Also, if you need a veil they are happy to make one for a really affordable price!

recently had a frustrating experience with a tailor tasked to alter a loose pant and skirt for me…read more After waiting three weeks for the initial alterations, I found them incorrect upon pickup. The tailor then required an additional two weeks to redo them, yet the pants remained improperly fixed with two incorrect seams. To make matters worse, I was charged $80 for these unsatisfactory alterations, despite originally paying only $34 for the skirt and $42 for the pants. The extended wait times, lack of attention to detail, and excessive cost were deeply disappointing. K Feedback

Spent $325 to alter 6 dresses and 1 skirt to smaller sizes. Expensive but thought it was worth it…read moreto be able to wear some of my favorite pieces again. Unfortunately I had to come back twice as two items were incorrect at time of pick up. One dress failed to be shorten and another was still too big. When I returned a week later to pick up the two dresses, one was cutting into my armpit so tightly and had gaps on the chest. The only way it fit comfortably is if my arms are all the way behind my back. Otherwise it digs so deeply into the armpit that it hurts. I was told that due to how large the dress was originally, there was nothing that could be done about the ill fit in the armpit/chest area and just pull it down more. Gave no solution to fix. As experts in the alteration field, they should be clear on what can and can't be done with certain garments. I obviously would not have paid to alter a garment if I'd known it wouldn't fit properly. Unfortunately it is completely unwearable with the chest gaps and extremely tight armpit. Essentially I threw away $46 on that.

WHAT A DEAL!If you need something hemmed or taken in, I don't know why you'd go anywhere else but here. Go out and buy a freaking dress or make it yourself. Don't drag businesses down because YOU are asking too much of them. Period. Ignore the haters leaving reviews for this wonderful establishment. If you're in need of a couple quick fixes-you have got to come to JN Tailors.

Two weeks later, I got a call letting me know that my machine would no longer power on and the technician had blown two of its fuses. Not only that, I was told they "couldn't get parts anymore" because my machine was "an old, inferior internet model." None of that is true--my TL-2000Qi is only four years old, well reviewed, still in production, and purchased from a local authorized dealer. The machine worked when I dropped it off. When I picked it up, it would not even power on. Instead of fixing the damage done in their shop, they tried to cover it up with lies. Do not trust your equipment to this shop.
