One of my best friend and I decided to get matching tattoos! We're both pisces so we decided the get our zodiac sign. The simple one of course. Anyways, my friend knew someone that works there so she made an appointment for both of us. We met up at the place. Parking should be easy. Once inside, we just showed the picture to the tattoo artist. His name was Tuna. The whole process was pretty short! It took about 15-20 minutes for each of us. It was my first tattoo. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect! I was soooo nervous and lowkey scared as shit. But it turned out okay. It did hurt but it's something I can handle. The tattoo was small and it turned out to be around $60. Overall, it looks nice. I can't wait for it to heal. Thanks! :)

Love madball tattoos! Always wanted my nipples pierced since high school, now that I'm almost nearing 30 i decide to get them. Also convinced my buddy to get his done (initially he was gonna do one but he got both ) We set an appointment at 10 which is when they open. We actually requested at 5 am the morning of, and I have to say, very professional and prompt with responding to the request. Shop overall looks DOPE! Really amazing canvas paintings and pictures tatts etc, and the back is where the tattoo and piercing is done. Looked very clean and sanitary with all sanitation products there. (When i intially stepped in, it dawned on me that ive been here before to watch my other buddy get his leg tatted by Cyril.. i have to say really really bomb artist). Lance is the piercer. He is definitely an experienced piercer. I have very low tolerance for pain, however I was the least nervous compared to my buddy. Lance was very cool and calm, which helped with my friends nerves and i guess mine cuz i didnt feel neevous even as he was about to pierce my nipples. It was quick, i cant really say it was painless cuz i was a little b*tch but it was done efficiently even as i squirmed. It has been 3 days now since we got them pierced and they look great! Cleaned them 3 times a day like he instructed and i mean i cant keep my shirt on (i already have an issue with that since i lift and i'm gay ).. Lastly gotta say, price is the best around OC/LB/LA area. My research led me to find prices to vary from as low as $40 per nipple as high as $80 per nipple (maybe higher). I paid $80 for both piercings which invcluded the jewelery. Other shops will say piercing for 25-30 dollars but you end up having to also buy the jewelery for 30-40 dollars so yea.. I'm not the smartest and i don't really like doing math.. however that sounds pretty expensive to me Overall price, service and the outcome was 100% phenomenal! If I have anymore piercings I want done, I'm coming back Lance for sure!
I walked in at 10:45am. Madball called in Mike and he did an amazing job! It was my first time here and it was definitely one to remember. Mike was very polite, friendly, courteous, and very talented! I got the serenity prayer on my forearm and love it! Thank Mike! I shall return!
I recommend coming to this place in SoCal. Jessica is my tattoo artist that did 2 of my tattoos. Jessica are one of my tattoo artist. She has a gentle hands if you ever get scared and even it's your first time getting it. She has patience. I felt so sorry for her when she did my first tattoo because I made her stay until midnight with my boyfriend. My ass was scared and being a cry baby lol. Sorry Jessica!
These guys were awesome. The best experience that anyone can have while getting a tattoo. Very friendly from the minute I walked in to the time I left. My experience: I walked in to a few tattoo shops locally. The feeling I got was how much money do you have homie.. Not a good feeling. I walked in to Madballs tattoo and he was very friendly. Asked me what would I like to get. I showed him my arm with some work that has been done previously. The work had uneven lines, not lined up right it could have been on tattoo nightmare show. Guys were stunned at the awful work that this guy has done. He showed me the portfolio of the 2 artist. Madball portfolio and then he showed me his older brothers "Tuna" portfolio. Both artist had awesome work. Tuna walked up to me and it looks really bad and he would hook it up. Again with that comfortable feeling and good vibes, Tuna got started and finished in about 2 hours. Thank you Tuna for the awesome work and the friendly staff and friends that dropped by. Made my experience that more better.
GO SEE CYRIL! He did just what I asked for and surprisingly it was a painless process! Will definitely be coming back for another in just a few months. My husband also got a tattoo done with CYRIL tonight. Expectation was met far beyond what was expected! Thanks again!!!

Went to several different tattoo shops trying to get a cover up done. Some said they could t do it, some tried to kill me for more elaborate tattoo to get me to pay more, and some just were plain sleazy. Madballs has a great vibe and you feel it when you walk in as place is clean and well put together. The artist are cool and no pressure. I met Michael Rivas who immediately said he could do what I wanted and gave me a price way below anyone else. He showed me his previous work and I booked him immediately. Just finished and I couldn't be more happy with the work. Receiving tons of compliments and people wanting referrals. I'm already planning my next one and will definitely come back to Michael to have him design and ink me again. Major props to this talented young man. read more

Shop is nice & clean. Tatuna is hooked up a drawing bAsed on my likes and knocked it out in a few hours. If you are looking for an awesome artist, come see my boy Tuna!! Love the fact that there is a back area designated for tattooing. Nothing worse than being front & center when you are in pain. Tuna did an amazing job on my 1/2 sleeve and did everything he could to keep me comfy. (He didn't complain when I needed to take pee breaks:) go check him out!!!!!!! read more

So apparently they don't do a lot of cute tattoo's but oh well lol its good practice for them. Not that they need it because my tattoo came out AMAZING!! It is my first tattoo and i was a little bit nervous but Oakie, with his quirky humor made me laugh and helped me relax. Surprisingly did not hurt at all and was very quick, I couldn't have been more happy with the results! it came out way better than i imagined in my head and has healed very quickly. He said the colors will get brighter and brighter and they are getting there!! He made my first experience so good i may be full of tattoos soon! ;P read more

Oakie is the man to see for piercings! I came in today after work to get my nose ring "ball" taken off. I went elsewhere to get my nose re-pierced, and the piercer put a lip ring in my nose! (I had no clue) So I yelped this place, called and went in. Oakie was very friendly, funny and professional. They have a station where they sterilize there equipment! All in all, he was able to take the mess of a nose ring someone else messed up, pierced and fixed it. Their prices aren't bad, but well worth it! Thanks again Oakie! read more

Today I received my first tattoo at madball tattoo by Michael. This was the first shop that I went to and after feeling the vibes and the honesty from the artist I knew it was meant to be. The price was fair & Michael is a true artist and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. The tattoo finished looking exactly the way I wanted it to look, I was smiling a good portion of the time he was actually tattooing because the experience was actually enjoyable. If I get another tattoo I would definitely go back to madball, thank you for the amazing tattoo. read more

Oakie is my favorite tattoo artist! Not only friendly and funny but I trust him wholeheartedly with my canvas. I have a neo - traditional rose on my thigh that he free hand drew out! I have recently added a Hibiscus cover up on my ankle and it turned out to be more beautiful than I could've imagined. Oakie hears what I want, and creates exactly what I'm thinking but better. Mike hooked my brother up on my birthday and Oakie hooked my sister up with a family ankle piece. I love the shop. The vibe is always chill and very professional. Always clean and comfortable. The owner Cyril did my first tattoo, a tribute to my grandma and I've been going back ever since. I met Oakie and Joey months ago when my buddy wanted his ears pierced and I ended up getting my nipples pierced. The bar was too small and I didn't take care of them, but with the guy's help I got longer bars and my piercings are healthy and thriving. LOVE this place! Will continue to return. read more
