Thank you to Joslyn for helping me repierce my septum. I am very pleased with the experience and was informed on how to use a glass retainer to maintain my septum whenever I have an MRI. This is the second time that I've been to the tattoo and piercing shop; the first time I went with a friend and also came in for a repiercing due to a hospitalization. I'm hoping this will be the last time that I go to this shop for a repiercing, but I will definitely come back here if I have to. Joslyn was extremely professional and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time during the piercing process by double checking that it didn't hurt. I had to purchase one of their steel titanium jewelry ($15 was the cheapest one) and was not allowed to use my own jewelry that I bought from Laughing Buddha. Which is totally understandable and makes sense as to why they don't use other jewelry outside of their own. I think it also specifies in their rules or contract that you're not allowed to bring in outside jewelry, but I would call to make sure. I also did not like that they didn't have a more comfortable waiting/seating area. Those tiny chairs on wheels are not really plus-sized friendly and I would have appreciated a regular chair instead of those. The online booking experience for an appointment within 3 days was easy to use on their website. I believe there was a $5 security deposit that goes into your overall total at the end of your piercing/tattoo session. In fact, my piercer Joslyn even emailed me to ask questions about my piercing history and whatnot. I really appreciated her attentiveness to detail and for taking the initiative to understand her customer's needs. So, I went back the Baron Art for their Friday the 13th walk-in specials. I was really worried about the uncertainty of walk-in only but it was great. I was first in line and they don't make you get a flash tattoo (although their flash tattoo selection is beyond compare), so I brought in kid art of my son's favorite animal. Cam (@camyeend) is a true artist who re-drew the Sloth with the cutest nose EVER! This is my 6th tattoo, but I waiting 13 years after kids were born to start again. The shop is clean and bright, the tattoo artists are friendly and extremely talented. I would give more than 5 stars if possible. All forms and ID taking is online and makes the process so easy. You avoid a fee if you pay cash. I will definitely be coming back in March and November for the other 2 Friday the 13th dates in 2026. Oh, and if you have never had a tattoo, it is way less painful than hair waxing, menstrual cramps, or skinning your knees! I yelped around and came to Baron to get my previous piercing re-opened. They were nice to do it free of piercing charge and I just bought the jewelry. They have a great selection of earrings and prices. I got my ear pierced by Chelsea, whom was very patient with all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. Came back again to get my cartilage pierced and got to use the same earring I purchased last time. They do charge a $15 sterilizing fee. Came here for my first tattoo and it was a great experience. I've wanted a particular tattoo for awhile, my family crest with Japanese characters underneath. We booked with the person available but in looking at her work, she wasn't quite the right fit stylistically. I reached out to them and asked if any of the other tattoo artist I did like were available and they were really nice about letting me switch. They then talked me through different styles of how they could do the Japanese characters which was great. They were clear on the pricing range and that was that. The shop is in this small strip mall and parking is tough because of the other stores. We were fortunate to find some street parking but I would imagine it may be hard to find from time to time. The shop is bright and has about 7-8 stations. We checked in and got sat at their stations where you could see some of the artist's artwork which was cool. Jesslyn took her time walking me through all the steps which was great for a first timer like me. She tried different placements and sizes until we agreed on the right size/location. She was surprisingly fast which worried me a little but the tattoo came out really great. She walked me through the aftercare and also mentioned they do free touchup within 6 months of the appointment. The price was reasonable and I'm happy with the results so far. I've always wanted a nose ring and kept putting it off well today is the day. My daughter had her piercing done here and highly recommended that I try this shop. It's located on a busy street with limited on site parking the shop is located in an area that looks a bit unkempt but inside the shop is clean and neatly organized with a chill vibe in the air and every seems very nice. I spoke with an attendant who referred me to Simone who will do the piercing she shows me two different jewelry cases they have a lot to choose from. I decide on 14K gold zirconium and sign the paperwork online they're not playing with these wavers. lol I'm asked to sit in this big chair that slightly reclines ever patient Simone walks me through the procedure sanitizes the nose ring and sanitized the area on my nose and face I am soo nervous then she uses a needle and pushes it through I Am Shook it hurt a few seconds and when it was over I realized it really wasn't that bad Simone is that good. I survived and as I study my face I think it's too big because I'm not used to anything on my face I call my daughter show her and she reassured me that it was fine and sooo pretty and she was shocked that I finally got it done. I orders two additional nose rings a small hoop and a stud in case I want to swap out at a later date. I've visited this shop a couple of times, as well as their El Monte location, and had good experiences at both locations. This location is in a very small shopping center, so parking can get hectic depending on the time of day you go. The first time I went to this location was for a tattoo back in 2021. I can't remember the artist's name, but she was awesome and the tattoo is still in excellent condition. Clean shop then and now. You can make appointments online or walk-in. I walked in to get a piercing that I had done somewhere else checked out, as it was irritated and I preferred to go to a shop closer to me. The check-in process is simple: scan a QR code to fill out an online form and be prepared to have ID. Reception staff were nice and helpful. While I was waiting, I overheard the piercers talking to clients and they just radiated kindness, warmth, and no judgment. They seem very solution-oriented, but also keeps the client's wants in mind. I think that's key when you're handling something so vulnerable and personal, such as tattoos and piercings. It immediately made me feel at ease and comfortable. Twinkle helped me out when it was my turn. She was very thorough in her explanations and advice, answered my questions, and made sure I was happy with my decision. Didn't feel pressured to purchase anything or do something out of my comfort zone. I ended up deciding to get my jewelry removed after consulting with her, but if I feel like getting a new piercing, I will absolutely come here. Great customer service and professionals all around. It's my first tattoo ever. Made an appointment about a month ago with Alan. Website is legit and they have a variety of different artist that specializes in all genre. I don't know what to categorize my tattoo but since it was more geometric shapes and straight lines, after reviewing the artist I decided to go with Alan. Super chill guy that did a great job on my piece that was designed by one of our graphic designers from work. Alan made some tweaks to the design to make it fit better on my arm. Alan is chill and very catering. I was a bit nervous but he made sure to wait and give me my space. It took about two hours nonstop and I am very happy with the results. I think he understands the pain threshold and will stop when it gets a little bit to crazy to handle. The place isn't big but it is clean. It can get crowded due to the location of it being close to college but the place definitely has good artist with variety. I highly recommend. My sister got her tattoo the same day from a different artist and she was also very good and patient and understanding. These are very important characteristics at a tattoo parlor especially for first timers as it's something that is going to be permanent.
