I am very disappointed with this place. I took my car to them to have the interior detailed, and when I arrived 1.5 hours later to get it (it was fast!), the car was still dirty and still had garbage in it. There was still dirt all over the carpets, and the floor mats were still very dirty. I called five minutes after we left to tell her my concerns, and she said we have 48 hours to bring the car back. I brought the car back to have it re-cleaned, which wasted more of our time. After the guy finished cleaning it again, of course it was still dirty. My recommendation is don't waste money again on below-standard detailing for your car when you could pay the neighbor kid $20 to do the same job they did. It was not a professional job, and the girl at the front didn't seem like she really cared that their establishment disappointed a customer. read more

If I could rate zero stars I would. I went to get my car inspected and they found 1500 dollars in repairs I needed not including labor. I obviously said I needed a second opinion because I can't afford that! I brought it elsewhere and they let me know I was lied to! I only needed new break pads and I ended up only spending 50 bucks instead of 1500 PLUS. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Especially if you're a woman. They will take advantage of you!!! Took my wife's car in for an inspection at the Morrisville location. The child "mechanic" says it needs a right front wheel bearing. I took the car to my real mechanic (who unfortunately for me, no longer does inspections) who said the bearing is fine. I took the car to a different place for the inspection and it passed with flying colors. These folks are either incompetent or thieves, take your pick. I will NEVER do business with Madadashcar again. read more

I don't think so. Booked appointments. Still waited an extra hour and that was not what we were told. Tires went in car without bags. Really? Car needs full cleaning now. At $65 you can provide bags, thanks! And then a lousy attitude on top of this???? Wow. Customer service folks. And an attitude adjustment. I've never used them for detailing work, but I use them for oil changes, minor automotive work, inspections, and tire changes. One of the good things is they store your off-season tires (yes, for a fee, but for people that don't have any storage space, it's a great service). I've purchased snow tires from them at a reasonable price and their rates are Ok on the rest of the stuff they do. I usually wait during oil changes, and the last one was real quick (I was first in line in the morning). I will continue to use them for my auto repair needs. read more

VERY disappointed in detailing and completely ripped off. It was a splurge for me to detail the interior of my car. When I made the appointment she walked me through the expenses and I verified that my car was not one of the upcharged cars. I go to pick it up and I'm charged for the SUV +$20 (my car is a Subaru Forester), + $20 extra for heavy soil and + $35 extra for dog hair when I have not had a dog in a year and have completely vacuumed and cleaned my car many times since. She said it was "loaded" with dog hair. They never called to tell me about these extra charges and when I questioned them at pick up they didn't seem to care that I was shocked and upset to be paying an additional $75 on what was supposed to be a $110 interior detailing. read more

If I could give this establishment 0 Stars instead of one star I would. We paid for the premium package on a crossover SUV, which was supposed to include cleaning of the Interior, the exterior, the wheel wells and the engine compartment. I made special arrangements to have a friend drop me off so that they could have the car the whole day. Lo and behold we picked up the car and they hadn't even opened up the engine compartment, there was mud on the mud flaps they didn't even look into the gas reservoir and the edges of the doors we're still as dirty as ever. There was cleaning spray left on the windshield. So, we left the car there and asked them to do it right, requiring two people to change their work schedules so that they could have it for another day. They didn't call to tell us it was done, they didn't apologize but the worst part about it was that when we called and they said it was done they hadn't even laid a hand on it since the first effort. What's more I called and left a polite voicemail on their answering machine after hours questioning whether or not they wanted a third chance to make it right and there was no response. They made no excuse for their lousy performance, refused to make it right which is too bad for them because I have five cars and I'm going to tell everybody I know in the state of Vermont not to take their car to either their Morrisville or Stowe location. Do yourself a favor and clean your car yourself or have your 10 year old son do it because you'll do a better than they will! Run, don't walk away from this establishment. read more

If I could give this less than one star, I would. Our car lost power steering and all our gauges were going haywire after coming off the Mansfield toll road. We are from out of town-- 9 hours away to be exact. We pulled into this place just wanting to get some help. The guy at the desk was nice but the mechanic that came out to check out alternator was not. All he said to my husband was 'start it up...yeah it's your alternator' OK, great, now we know--is there ANYTHING you can do to help us out since we are due to leave early Monday morning? This was around 1pm on a Friday. I get that it's almost the weekend, but his exact response after laughing at us was 'Nope. not til Monday. go down the road' as he slammed our hood and walked back inside. We're not locals we had no idea what 'down the road meant' so we had to google and ended up finding Willies Village auto who was AMAZING and even drove all the way to Burlington to pick us up an alternator that night, came in on SUNDAY(his day off, mind you) to install it for us and didn't charge us an arm and a leg. Also, had us come back before we left town Monday to check it out for us to make sure we were good to go and wouldn't have any problems getting back to Maryland. This place needs a serious lesson on manners and customer service-- as I can see with the very low google rating, I'm not the first customer that has had a bad experience with them. Tourists-- if you find yourself with car troubles while in Stowe-- Stay FAR away from this place and go to Willies just down the street. read more

Outstanding, helpful and reasonably priced service. We had a couple of worrisome mechanical issues on a long weekend trip to Stowe. On a very busy Friday when they were fully booked, the operators of Madadashcar took on this time-consuming job. Tom, an owner and mechanic, worked past normal hours Friday and into the afternoon on Saturday (when he'd normally be off) to complete the work. The price was about 30% below the "worst case" estimate I'd been given. Service was friendly and meticulous, taking time to explain clearly what needed doing. Can't beat that. read more

Nice people,however, they have become quite greedy. I took my car in for an oil change...they charged almost $120!!!!! I almost fell over! My car is a 2006....it has had many oil changes ....never, I mean never , have I been charged that type of money! Normal charges are between $40 and $50....I complained and they refunded me $27....however,they have now lost two customers. Word of warning....get oil change prices upfront in writing, or bring your car elsewhere. Hope this helps others from getting sticker shock. read more

I had my vehicle's alternator replaced at Madadashcar. 10 days later the alternator belt split along the middle and the some minor damage was caused to other components as the belt flapped around. The belt did not look worn, but like it had not been aligned correctly. I had the car towed to Madadashcar to give them a chance to make it right. The mechanic swore the belt had been correctly installed, that there had been no signs of it looking ready to fail when he put the belt back on the car, and that the timing of the failure was coincidental. He did offer to do the labor for free if we purchased the parts - which now included a tensioner, even though he had not looked at that part when we returned. We were skeptical and did not want to give this business more money or have the same mechanic do any more work on the vehicle, so we had it towed to the dealer and the repairs done there. And thank goodness! It turns out the belt had been installed incorrectly, it was shifted over 2 grooves on one of the pulleys you could not see from the top. In addition, the adjustment head on the tensioner was snapped off. Since you can not correctly put on an alternator belt without releasing the tension, the dealer's service manager's working theory was that the original mechanic had snapped off the head accidentally and did not want to tell us, so being unable to release the tension they had just pulled the belt on the best they could, which was not all the way. We returned to Madadashcar with the broken part and the repair receipts. The owner, Kara, said she was told that the tensioner was broken when the car came in and the mechanic has chosen not to tell us about it to save us money. So either, the mechanic broke a part on our car and lied, or didn't know how to put on a belt correctly and neglected to inform a customer of a broken component on their car. She apologized, empathized with our frustration, and said to give her 2 days to determine what she'd do to handle it. 2 days came and went with no response. I stopped in to see her, she wasn't there and I left a message to have her call me. Again, no response. A few days later, I made one more try to stop in. The woman at the desk told me that she would not be calling me back. That the owner had decided to ignore me. So at this point I have spent $760 in towing and repair costs to fix the mistake made when they made the original $500 repair. I would like to be able to support a local business, particularly one owned by a veteran, but this experience has been extremely frustrating and expensive. read more
