I left, but came back to Dr. Mathias office. Let's start with I've had stomach problems for years, dealt with extreme fatigue and depression, I've also had problems with my left leg. I'm not the type of person constantly visiting the doctor's office, only if I'm feeling bad, other than that I wait until my appointment to go over what's been happening with me. Recently I have been feeling really bad, finding it hard to breathe and being on my feet for long periods of time causes swelling and pain. My doctor sent me to several specialist to see what could be happening. I have basically been following her guidance and the guidance of the specialist I've seen. Lately when I've called my doctor she's either out of the office or doesn't have available appointments. In that case I'm given the Nurse Practitioner, she's going over my recent labs and have recommended more testing due to findings. Fast forward to appointment with my doctor, when she entered the room I could tell she had something on her mind, her whole demeanor was off. She said she doesn't know what is going on, questioned me about talking with the nurse practitioner or how many times we spoke, I thought it was one so that is what I said and she quickly corrected me saying no you had two calls with her, I said okay. She asked me why I didn't fill a certain prescription I said because I have some on hand, medication for nausea. We talk a little about my scans and ones the Nurse Practitioner ordered. one of the scans she says I don't need. She told me to keep the upper scan appointment but I didn't need the lower. She proceeded to tell me how there's nothing more she can do to help me, so I ask why? Are you saying you won't help me at all, she said maybe with smaller issues, she basically directed me to see the Nurse Practitioner. I wasn't feeling good at the time of the visit on top of it, hearing this news was very hurtful. I take the folder to the front desk and waited to get my three month appt with whomever I was to see, instead this time she waved me away and said that was all. I went home worried about what had happened, so called the office and spoke with Melissa, she was doing her job of basically telling me that the doctor doesn't want to see you any longer but you can be seen by The Nurse practitioner. I asked for more of a reason as to what is going on, she said they are not obligated to give me a reason why, as her voice got higher I matched it with hers, than she started yelling she was being attacked and hung up on me. I have done nothing to these people to be treated the way I was treated. To my doctor, I hope sincerely one day you experience the pain I experienced that day. You are young there is time for your body to go through changes, God doesn't know you as a doctor he see's you as a person, just like myself. Moving on from that, I was called by Radnet about my appointment, they specified that it would be more appropriate to do the full scan because of the possible diagnosis of PAD, I said my doctor only wants me to have the Abdomen/Pelvic done. She said that wouldn't make any sense and said she would call the office, she did. I went for my appointment followed the orders given by my physicians orders.

Doctor Mogbonjubola Adeyemo is married to Dr. Oluwafemi Adeyemo, a psychiatrist who works in the same offices. I've never met him, but folks speak highly of him. My GP doctor, Dr. M. Adeyemo is excellent and always listens to my concerns with sincere empathy. When I had an injury, the look on her face made me feel like she could actually FEEL my pain!!! I've also had no problem being referred to specialists if need be. I don't like the thought of the public knowing where I go for treatment, yet she deserves kudos for her practice and so, you are welcome to become a patient here if she accepts your insurance. Dr. Singhvi ordered everything he believed I need to get better. There was a misunderstanding if I paid for an injection, I spoke with his nurse & she was so nice about the misunderstanding. She transferred me to speak with Dr. Singhvi & he was very understanding, even ended the conversation with "you get better." I had to file a grievance with my insurer and win an appeal to get the referral I requested. Patient care should not be delayed because a doctor doesn't know her job.
