After I posted my original review, I received messages on Yelp about what happened. When I called the office to speak with Maryann -- the same person who was messaging me -- I was told by Rachel over the phone that Maryann refused to speak with me. Rachel claimed that my mom confronted a staff member and demanded to know if her forms were filled out, at her daughter's school,When I spoke to my mom, she explained that she calmly asked the woman if she worked at Dr. Ashraf's office, mentioned that some forms had not been filled out, told her to have a nice day, and even shook her hand. That does not reflect the aggressive behavior they are describing. I would also like to point out that it is highly unprofessional for a medical assistant to claim she was "confronted" by a patient when, in reality, she was spoken to politely. If my mom had actually confronted this woman the way they're claiming, wouldn't teachers or staff have stepped in to de-escalate the situation? And wouldn't others in the pickup line have heard or witnessed this supposed 'rude confrontation'? It doesn't make sense that something like that would happen publicly without anyone else noticing or intervening. Misrepresenting a simple, respectful interaction as something hostile is concerning and raises questions about honesty and accountability within the office. What is even more troubling is the inconsistency in their stories. Rachel said my mom was called into the office, while Maryann stated on Yelp that my mom showed up rude and was confrontational and going back and forth with staff. Those are two very different accounts. If she was called in, why portray it as though she stormed in angrily? Rather than showing empathy or taking accountability, the office chose to argue and present conflicting narratives. A simple, professional response acknowledging our experience would have gone much further. Unfortunately, this entire interaction has reinforced our concerns about their communication, professionalism, and integrity. read more

Dr Hadia Ashraf is a FANTASTIC doctor whom is not only thorough, but well educated and makes you feel important and you know she cares. My son who is Type-1 diabetic, and a new patient is extremely pleased he got a really educated doctor says and his A1-C is at 6.6 finally. We work closely with Rachel and America from Dr. Ashraf's office and they are so RELIABLE and the most RESPONSIVE we have ever experienced before. Rachel has been such a blessing!! Rachel and America always calls on my dons prescriptions and we receive them usually same day service. Rachel is a miracle always following through and getting my son results!! Office staff doesn't care about patients. I quit going as of today after at least 15 years.

My mom has been going to Dr. Ashraf for over 15 years, I used to go to her. I had to stop because you could count on a minimum of 3 hours in the office with an appointment, but you have to block out a whole afternoon. I was never seen anywhere near my appointment time and with 3 little kids it was impossible! Today my mom is in a lot of pain and called to get in. They told her they had nothing for a month! She begged them to see her, and they refused! This has been a problem for a long time, the way Dr. Ashraf treats her patients is pretty awful, and keeping them waiting in the office for scheduled appointments for hours is horrible! Mind you, this is not on occasion, this is the norm. Any doctor that can't see their patients on an emergency basis in the same week I think is a waste of time. It takes a lot for my mom to go to the doctor too, she is in a lot of pain today. Shame on you Dr. Ashraf! read more

This place goes from bad to worse, the staff is horrible at keeping up I understand they can be busy but you call and they don't ever answer. I was on hold for 20 minutes before being helped they don't respond to referrals unless you are the one calling feels like cat and mouse. Getting an appointment is at least a 3 month wait ridiculous. read more

My chemotherapy and other treatment for my cancer is giving me more pain as time goes on. Dr. Ashraf was able to help me with my pain issue for which I am so grateful. read more

What kind of doctor office is this? Took my grandma to see Dr Ashraf and the office staff are incompetent. It took them nearly half an hour to provide us with paper work to fill out for a new patient. Along with this, the office is very unprofessional. One of her employees had her two children in the office by the computer desks. There was an instance where her husband had stepped into the office. This is a circus! I can't believe this is a doctor's office. Appointment was for 1pm showed up at 12:40 only to keep waiting and waiting to be seen. Instead I'm just seeing these employees sit and eat their lunch instead of actually working. read more

I found Dr Ashraf in Temecula and will follow her anywhere she is a good listener and I feel that she genuinely cares about her clients. Her staff in Hemet gave me directions and scheduled an appt. for me to switch offices. They were kind and helpful, answered all my questions and did so in a quick manner. I have been there several times and although you may have to wait, what Dr.'s office gets you in on time. She is late because she listens to the client and doesn't rush you when it is your turn. I am very picky about Doctors and have switch several time to find someone who seems knowledgeable and caring. She is the one. read more

Wow these trade school educated workers really are terrible. I called to follow up on an appointment and placed on hold form over 15 min and never came back to check up on the call. I called 4 times after and was placed on hold with allowing to speak once RACHELLE answered she slammed the phone down and hung up on even i said thank you. This is the second time I brought my elderly mother to see this dr. Waited in the waiting room for one hour then placed in a room one hour again and still no dr. One patient walked out as we were getting put in a room and he said the dr still isn't here, why in the hell don't they tell you the drs late do you can reschedule, what a frigging joke!!!!! It's absolutely incredible that even after you make an appointment wait a few weeks before the appointment date; you still have to wait about 2 hours before seen the Dr. Unacceptable, sorry we double booked it's not an excuse. I'm happy with the doctor but when the office gets my results, never called to notify me I was diabetic I went without knowing 8 months. Every other doctor I been is good about letting me know the results, my friend was never got results of gall stones until she ended up in ER. I don't think it's okay for a doctor's office not to notify you of your test results especially if you are positive for anything. Even though is in my best interest to find out they should have a system to let people know. It's also hard to get through the phone lines and when you do it's at least a 15 hold, everytime. read more

Dr. Ashraf is a great doc. just plan for a long wait. Her office staff is either incompetent or severely understaffed for the workload. The doctor needs a new office manager who doesn't make promises she cant keep and can make sure the office staff follow up and do there jobs efficiently. I've never had to call my insurance myself and get instructions for the office staff to get an authorization for a prescription. OMGosh! read more

I'm a retired disabled veteran. I chose Dr. Ashraf as my personal, local family medical provider due to her good reputation. I like Dr. Ashraf and her professional attention to my health needs has been right on the money; however, her office staff hasn't got a clue. I am thinking Dr. Ashraf needs to find herself a good office manager and maybe replace the entire staff. read more

Dr. Ashraf is a very knowledgeable doctor. The wait is long at times but it is worth the wait because she takes her time with you as a patient and will see you for more than 1 problem per visit if necessary unlike other PCP's who you will need an appointment for each health problem individually. The staff is very helpful and always smile even when it is hectic and busy. read more

Severely mismanaged Dr's office...hold time was over 12 minutes long and as of this moment..still holding. refuse to see me stating hospital never faxed records..went to Hemet valley Hospital medical records, and they personally pulled the request of the records they sent successfully twice and gave me the proof of transmission, and my records so I can reschedule my appt, that's if I am able to ever get through! read more

Hello, Dr Ashraf is amazing. She takes her time with her patients and actually listens. She doesn't rush anyone as I am a patient with her. I'm sure we all like to be seen ASAP but let's be honest, would you rather have a Dr just rush you through like a drive-thru, and not having that personal relationship or attention you deserve? I think not. Everyone deserves a great Dr. As for all her staff, they're very thorough and always greet you as you come in. I or anyone can't complain about her great staff. They're are willing to get you any information you need or don't understand. Now you might have a patient come in with rude intentions and simply go off at her staff, but that never changes the way her staff handles such disrespect. They stay consistent with their welcoming ways in the office. Her staff and her receptionist are quite the force to be Reckoned with. Dr. Ashraf is one of the few doctors who truly listens to what I am saying, and will spend extract time with me if needed. I don't mind waiting a little while for this kind of respect. I find her warm and kind and easy to talk to. I would recommend her to anyone! read more

I am only giving her one star in order to write this review. I have never seen a doctor operate the way she does. The wait in the waiting room is an hour on a good day, and while once in the room she gives you time, when you leave you have no idea what you are supposed to do. Her practice is comprised of mostly elderly people and to be made to wait like this is indefensible.. My sister was in rehab for 10 days; The dr. never came to see her. She ordered an excessive dosage for a UTI, (by phone) and if it weren't for a doctor friend who called my attention to it and had her make the change, my sister would have been on the wrong dose. Not good for an 80 year old. Needless to say, she sees another doctor now. read more

The doctor is fine. Support staff is terrible. They say they have called in prescriptions to the pharmacy and pharmacy says they have not. You call and they put you on hold indefinitely. I had to hang up after 15 minutes and try back several times before someone would talk to me. When they did call in the prescriptions, they gave the pharmacy my incorrect birthdate so I still could not get my prescriptions. read more

This is the worst office in Hemet. I had an appointment at 10 am and so did 9 other people. I waited and waited 3 hours, got called back, and waited and waited until the nurse finally saw me and told me that i have high blood pressure and the doctor will be in a few . I waited some more and finally walked out. Everyone was talking in the back about about the weekend and the doctor was talking to sales people instead of taking care of her patients. No one ever called me to reschedule or tell me to get help for the high blood pressure. Terrible office, should not be in business. I cannot believe the way this place functions. read more

Dr. Ashraf is the best doctor i have been to. she is very understanding and helps you with any problem you have. I love her and have been to her office since 2005. I recommend her if you are looking for a great family practice physician. read more
