The cozy slippers were a nice touch! My massage therapist took the time to ask about my concerns (stiff shoulders and neck) and checked in throughout to make sure the pressure was right. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, dim lighting, peaceful music, and even a heated table. By the end, I sincerely felt so much better. She also showed me a few simple stretches I can do at home, which I really appreciated. Thank you, Laura! I'll definitely be back and am excited to try more of their services. I can't believe I hadn't stopped in sooner!

Vive is a very calming space. The lights are low and it's very comfortable. It looks small at first but there's a small waiting room down the hall from the entrance. Since it was my first visit, I spoke with the receptionist prior to my visit, and I filled out a medical/treatment history upon arrival. Amanda reviewed it with me thoroughly before starting my treatment. Amanda was also very professional. In addition to going over health information, she made sure that I was comfortable with what massage entails, that consent and comfort was paramount, and that I could tell her at any point if I was uncomfortable with what was happening. I really appreciated that clear communication. Something that's really helpful is that Vive lists all their therapists on their website, and in addition to their specialties it lists their pressure level. That was extremely helpful to me, because I knew I wanted someone who used firm pressure, so that definitely helped me find the right therapist. My time with Amanda was not only relaxing but helpful, as my back--whilst not completely neutral--felt much better after my session. And within the week the pain was essentially gone. I don't know if this was the reason, but it was certainly a contributing factor. In addition to standard massage, they have an infrared sauna here as well. They also sell a few items that may provide further relief. There are a few parking spaces in the lot directly in front of the business, and there are a few diagonal spaces on the street as well (just be sure not to block the sidewalk). If necessary, there's also parking along the neighborhood streets, too.

I usually get a massage for at least an hour and a half or two hours cause I'm in that much pain. The masseuse was Susanna. She was massaging my ankles and says 'you're lower back is not good' I said 'Yes! that's true!' After the foot massage in the common massage area, I went into a private room for a full body massage with Susanna. She identified and targeted every painful spot and while the pressure of the massage was painful in the beginning... as she continued- the pain subsided and I felt rejuvenated. I walked out feeling the most normal I have felt in about 2 years. I had a bounce in my step and NO PAIN! I cried, Susanna hugged me.. I could walk down the stairs like a normal person.. not feeling like a debilitated elderly person. I still feel great today!! Highly recommend this place and especially Susanna. Price was super reasonable for an hour and a half.. this is my new massage place 100%!!!

Pandemic hit and then a need for one went on hold. Unaware that females with blonde hair don't get waxed, according to a family member who laughed when I asked where she goes, I was on my own. I searched near me, and found Cathie's business in the same storefront as a salon, deVine. I sent and email and didn't hear back, so I called, lvm, and she returned my call. Happy to get scheduled before a vacation, I went in two days later. I was a bit confused when I walked into deVine. But hey, I am a novice to other waxing experiences. They called up Cathie, and she led me to the back room. I simple clean, room. It was filled with tubes or lotions and I recognized the labels. She asked me to "get ready" then lay on a table, facing the tubes on the shelf. I was a bit put off without any sheet, but again, this was not Bliss spa. Long story short, Cathie was easy to talk to and I was distracted from her work on me. I felt no pain. And maybe it was the easy conversation and feeling like she knew what to do, after she asked for my opinion of what to take off. I would definitely go back to her. The price was absolutely fair, and I hope I tipped well enough. Do get your bikini waxed by her. While the back room is a bit rough around the edges, it is very clean, and she tells me she does lots of facials. Who knows, maybe when I get back from my vacation I'll be back for one of her other many services. She was greets to let me know, that face products that list sunscreen have such a minimal amount in them, and suggested a product from a store, for me to bring. Lastly, she doesn't push her facial products but she can order them if someone asks. I will be getting her sunscreen recommendation when I return and would go back for another waxing as she did a great job!
