I've been buying from Madcheetah for many years, and most of the time I'm happy with my purchases. It's hard for me to get to there to pick up items, but I was always told not to worry about the late fees that start after 2 weeks because they waive them when the items are picked up, so I'd wait until I had a few items from several auctions to pick up to save on gas. It's been this way for years. The other day, I went to the Byron Center location to pick up and learned they had relisted my item because I didn't pick it up right away. The new manager said they had to do this because they didn't have enough room anymore to keep items. That is understandable, but they should have notified the customers that they were going to start doing this. I've been a customer since years before they opened the Byron Center warehouse, and they've always waived the fees and said it was fine to wait to pick up items. I was told this was always their policy, but they've never enforced the policy. A policy that they've never followed is not really a policy, especially if customers have always been told that they don't enforce it. I was told I would not get a refund either, so I'm now out a lot of money. They should have emailed customers that they were going start relisting items and given us a chance to adapt. They also could have posted at the top of the listings that starting with a specific auction, items not picked up by a certain date would be relisted. They didn't think at all about their longtime customers. read more
