I had a great experience at Macy's when purchasing a sports coat, dress shirt, and dress pants. I went around town to other men's suit stores and it just so happened to be prom time so these stores were packed and I couldn't get anyone to help me. As much as I hate going to the mall, I decided to hit Macy's at the Warwick Mall to see if I could find some quality apparel. It was a good decision. Within 10 minutes of showing up, I had a woman ask me if I needed help. She was carrying a measuring tape so I knew that she was going to shepherd me through this process; and she did just that. She took my measurements for jacket and shirt and showed me several different options. I actually brought along two of my personal bow ties that I wanted to build my outfit around and she was able to provide several options that matched very well. My shepherd guided me through the entire process until I was satisfied. In the end, I purchased some great Ralph Lauren and Van Heussen apparel. Macy's also has a seamstress and I would have opted to tailor my new clothes through Macy's but their turn-around time is 10 days. Usually, this wouldn't be a problem, but I needed the tailoring to be complete in 5 days so my shepherd came to the rescue once again and provided me the name and number of a local tailor who could complete my order in the preferred timeframe.
All-in-all, I was very impressed with Macy's. The experienced has opened my eyes to their large collection of quality brands and great staff who dedicate the time to make sure you find what you're looking for. Additionally, Macy's offers a military discount (10%) which is always a plus for me. I'm a huge fan! read more
