Let's do some math like we did in elementary. 2 shirts = $8.99 + tax. Common sense tells us the total shouldn't be over $10. Tell me why the cashier AND the manager had the audacity to say she was tripping when the total came out to be $20. The math ain't mathing sweetie.! Y'all are charging for the price of 4 shirts when the total came out to be $20. The fact the cashier said she's been doing this the WHOLE day means they've been overcharging everyone. THEN the manager didn't give 2 fuc*s when confronted they were robbing people. Makes me believe they KNEW they were scamming people. UPDATE: You'd think the owner would know some basic math. Nah this b*tch doesn't nor did he offer an apology for what happened. The owner of the company is in on it too. YALL the workers AND the owner is scamming y'all out of your money. Please this is my kind of tea I signed up for. ADVICE: Please go buy from them, record your transaction and conversation. Get them to state what they're doing and that they stand by their decision. Then file lawsuit and take their money bc they know they've been scamming people.

When we went in the beginning of September - everything was 50% off. Tons of clothes that include fall/summer and everything in between. Did find a lot of stuff for my mom - even skinny jeans! I was impressed with the selection and at 50% off it was a steal. Two tops, pair of jeans, black slacks, jean capris, and cute yellow/designed capris - all for $174. Lots of random stuff is being sold - throw blankets, fuzzy socks, lotion, shoes, and even weighted blankets. One of the worker's told us that they are pulling stuff from warehouses, so random stuff for sure! But everyone can use jewelry, bags, and little gifts - no matter your size. Sad to see The Avenue go but I highly recommend you get the deals while they last! I stocked up on a lot of Christmas gifts! All sales final and everything must go including fixtures.

Very crappy selection and they used to have alot of cute Nike clothes. Then I gave up on that and went to look for some jeans or maybe some other clothes. It basically all sucks now in there. My family ussd to be obsessed with Kohls and after talking to them when I left, they said they haven't been there in years because it's just crap in there and they don't have anything anymore. They may as well close. Sad to see that today but I doubt I'll be back.

Everybody was too busy to help her but they had a couple of things she wanted and she ended up buying one of them but not the other because the size was a little weird. Prices are around mid-price but sometimes you can find some good deals especially because I get the feeling that this mall might be closing down soon so they have cheaper prices than a lot of Torrid locations have on a lot of similar products around the country. I can't stand the attitudes of many at this Mall, but this particular shop had employees that were nice enough, and that's not bad at all.

Not your regular frumpy, polka dot covered moo-moos. The staff is approachable & helpful (If you are fashion challenged as I am sometimes, you know how important it is to have helpful staff). You can find dresses, shoes up to size 12 (they are really cute & fashionable even in big sizes. YES!!!!). They have dressing rooms available & lingerie too. It is nice that there is a store that caters to plus size younger women. Although there are only 2 in MI: this one & Great Lakes, it is usually worth the drive. I suggest checking out the website first & calling ahead to see if they have what you are looking for specifically if you don't live in the area (I had to drive 45 mins. to get there & was disappointed when they didn't have the shoe I was looking for, even though she said they would hold it when I called. That was the 1 bummer in this experience) Best place to go for fishnet tights, cute tops, & dresses to party in. Note: Torrid is not a cheap store. Jeans run you from $38-$98 (But you can find amazingly comfortable skinny jeans by Source of Wisdom there). Sign up for the Diva Style reward card & save 5% off each purchase after spending $250 (which will be easy with there prices). Sign up on there website for the newsletter & get emails of super discounts (50% off all boots for 6 hours only, etc.) *A must for any young woman (black, white, hispanic, etc.) looking to look fly even if you are curvy & don't wear a size 2!

Additionally, if you're lucky enough to find some clearance prices, well that's icing on the cake. Granted, the store looks disorganized and can look messy at times, but it's a bargain hunt to find something you like. I don't mind searching if I have the time. I've been in retail so I know all about customers leaving carts, not picking up something they dropped, walking over merchandise or setting things down wherever. It's frustrating and I give credit to anyone working here because it's not as easy as it appears. The cashier at checkout was super friendly and that makes a huge difference because it's your last interaction as you leave the store. But anyways, since they have a little bit of everything and a lot of clothes, chances are you'll find something you want or need or didn't think you needed until you saw it. Good deals are waiting..... For this type of discount store and comparing it to similar stores like this, it's between a 3 and 4 but I'll give it a 4 since I know the retail battle.
