We come here for our glasses but we wander around. My husband just got some new shoes at a great price. But it was kind of hard to find someone that worked in the shoe department. I had to hunt for help. And it was very disorganized. He found 1 half of the pair he wanted and we could not find the other. Finally we found help and they said that sometimes that happens. So you loose one shoe? Ok she suggested some other ones and my husband finally found ones he liked. Definitely my go to place to shop. Since we were at The Falls Mall, we decided to stop in at Macy's and visit their shoe department. The salesperson was friendly and helpful. My daughter wound up buying 2 pairs of Michael Kors shoes on sale, but I didn't see anything that I needed at this time. I love going through their cosmetics department because it always smells so good over there. We didn't stay long because we were on a mission to get to Key Largo. This location attached to The Falls shopping village is pretty big inside. Two floors and lots of clothes selection, they even a nice cafe with different food and drink items to choose from. It's located on the ground level and you can access it from inside or outside of the main store. Staff that we encountered were very friendly. read more

I had one of the most amazing experiences at Macy's. I went to buy a suit for my father to celebrate his 50 wedding anniversary with my mom to the Macy's in Southland mall and they not just mistreated us but made us feel horrible, therefore, we decided to go to the one in The falls because my dad really liked one from your collection so we went to an other location. When we got there we found the suit without help but when we tried to ask about other stuff that we needed we found Suzanne from Cosmetics that gave us an amazing treatment and customer service and showed us that not all employees are the same. This Macy's is located in the Falls shopping mall in Pinecrest. The store is located at one end of it, so if you only want to shop at Macys you can park literally right outside for easier access. Macys always has good sales on when it is "that" time of the year. It is located over two floors. The shoe section is huge - I am a shoe - o - holic, so I know these things. read more

I came by Macy's because I slacked off this year on Black Friday and I didn't buy all the clothes I guess I needed. Just was looking for some shirts to go out with.... found nothing. Felt like what was left in the store was mostly what they couldn't sell on Black Friday. You can not compare this Macy's to the one in Dadeland or heck even the one in Westland Mall in Hialeah. They do not have anywhere near the selection or the styles of clothing sold there. Perfect example of showing the store gives up is when their signage is missing letters.... Plus Sizes for instance was P US SZES.... look at the attached picture. I honestly felt I wasted my time coming here except in two respects... I found some nice ornaments from Lennox to add to my tree... I mean seriously on sale. The only other good part was seeing their Make A Wish station. If you wrote a letter to Santa, Macy's donates to the Charity. I haven't written one of those in a long time but if it's for a good cause and a good charity then I am all for it. Sure my letter was a bit unorthodox but hey I am different. Still I probably won't be returning to this Macy's store. read more

I've been to this Macy's plenty of times. It's actually the one by my house now. I normally go to Dadeland to that Macy's just because I don't particularly me this one. Today though put the topping on the cake. So I went to the women's section. Got a few things I liked for a good price. You can't use any coupons here because it's a clearance. Got a jacket $20 off. It was a great price. Here is where things went sour. I was standing in line for a bit. They had one cashier and she was having an issue with the customer. There is no other cashier in site. We wait for like 15 minutes still nothing. I'm ok to wait but others began to get inpatient. Finally a guy walks up and takes us in another cashier. Mayday. The guy is drunk and high. I don't even know what to do. The guy takes forever and it takes him like 5 minutes to fold the shirt. It was actually pretty funny. But I couldn't believe that this guy was so intoxicated at work. I was embarrassed for him. I couldn't believe Macy's a nice company would hire someone like that. Needless to say he was out of it. Three other people were charged for their merchandise and left and I was still there with this guy. Mind you I had three things. I don't know how to change this Macy's. I just know this will never be my regular to go to Macy's. I'll always hit up Dadeland before this one. read more

Macy's is a great place to do some shopping for any occasion specially if you have a gift card like my daughter had. This is a two stories Macy's with nice background music and very clean. They have beautiful things for your house, gorgeous cloths for the ladies and cool stuff for the kids and men. My daughter tried different dresses for her upcoming party and they carry all sizes which makes it easy for everyone. The ladies working all over Macy's are so nice and the young guy that helped us in the shoe department was amazing. I'm a big fan of Macy's, but there's something about the layout of this location that kind of bugs me. They remodeled the entire store after the roof caved in during the 2005 hurricane season, and it just hasn't been the same since. They have an optical on the first floor and a decent shoe department, but it doesn't compare to the Dadeland location. Dear Macy's, I have to say, my last couple of visits here have yielded the results of discovering some new improvements. You seem to be a tad more organized, although the woman's shoe department is still a big wreck (especially the sales racks). But I found the upstairs clothing department to be a bit better organized and carrying some nice selections of some of my favorite brands (like I.N.C.). Our most recent visit here was for my love to get some new shoes. He found this awesome pair of Polo sneakers for a great price. The man's shoe department seems much better organized than the woman's, which was nice to see because I wouldn't have been able to handle the mess. I have lived in Miami and so I am familiar with Macys at the falls. I went to college for 4 years and came back.... boy was it different!! The layout has chabged so everytime I shop, I am walking around in circles and circles. Not to mention I can never call anyone because there is no signal in the place. I find that the employees are never that friendly... they are always so bitter to help (I guess they are a bunch of teeny boppers on seasonal hire). The clothes just don't interest me either. They do have good deals sometimes, but it's rare that I find that one peice of clothing that completes my life at this Macys. I was really interested in the home department at Macys since I am interested in buying furniture. To be honest, I was disappointed. All of the mattresses were tough as rock (I might as well have taken my dorm furniture), and I honestly just thought there was nothing here. Macys is also really dirty. You always see gum on the displays or the fitting rooms here (ew, gross....) I remember one time they charged me the wrong price for celebrity jeans that were on sale. I had the same pair, different colors. They told me that the 2 were just different prices, yet when you scan the jeans in a different size it came up correctly. It was a whole ordeal and in the end I still never got sale price.... oh well. I still go here because it is close, but it really isn't that good a store. read more

I love Macy's! They have just about everything you need as far as clothes, shoes, makeup, housewares, bedding and cookware. The shoe department at Dadeland is one of the best that I have seen. It's best to go very early or very late because sometimes it's difficult to get help when it's busy. I love the coupons too! I forgot to mention the designer handbags and watches. Great selection! Martha and Sandy in women's are extremely rude and disrespectful. I wanted to pay for a blouse and went to Sandy's counter where she told me she was busy and find another associate. So I located Martha's counter, where she told me the same thing. I looked for another associate and after walking around for a while I decide to leave my item out of frustration and walkout. I obviously saw they were busy and was waiting in line. There was no reason to basically refuse me service and use the tone they did. How long does one usually take to purchase a perfume you already know you want? At this Macy's location it took over half an hour?!?! The store was deserted, almost no other patrons in site. Despite this fact we were shuffled around from person to person, register to register and were only able to make our purchase after getting on the phone with Macy's directly! To elaborate, Mom has been with Macy's for quite some time, for this reason she has a card that's older than the original Santa Claus on 34th Street. You know, when you are doing anything wedding related, I expect a lot better than normal customer service. You guys are not the ones that have to deal with the bride. We have a registry already set up with Macys, and simply needed to add more stuff from the store. I've never seen a Macy's this dirty and unorganized, they have 3 floors and in the fitting rooms of the 2nd floor was the most disgusting thing. The floor carpet was beyond dirty and with huge stains, the walls were dirty but with disgusting stains of apparently poop and hands? It was gross. Wish I could negative 5 stars. I have have several bad experiences at this Macy's.... it's depressing that this is the only one near Homestead. Apparently this Macy's closes at 8pm and had I had no idea. I literally walked in to let my daughter use the bathroom and while I was waiting for her to finish they announced that Macy's was closed. As soon as my daughter finished we tried to head out back into the mall however the garage door was already down... I'm talking 8:02pm. I politely asked if they would let us back in because we needed to get back to my husband and son. They refused And told me I had to walk around the outside to get back in the mall. Most stores have someone stand by the door for at least 5 minutes to let the customers back out... I asked again please since I had no idea thy closed and hour early and I needed to get back to my family. They refused again and I had to walk outside and all they way to the food court entrance to meet up with my husband who had been waiting right outside Macy's while I took my daughter to the bathroom. Horrible customer service ... I will drive to Dadeland or Mall of the America's from now on. read more

Had to return some shirts my husband had received as a gift. I was informed that I was unable to return them as they were "Last Call" items and m it had been past the 29 day "policy". I asked to speak to a manager. As I have been shopping at Macy's for years and I have NEVER encountered such policy. The manager came and she was very confrontational for no reason. I had been very nice. I asked her if they informed customers about this policy and she got very upset at this question and rudely told me that "yes every person is informed of this policy at purchase and it's in bold lettering at the bottom of every receipt." She then proceeded to tell me she didn't "want to argue with me". I'm not sure who she was thinking she was arguing with considering I was just asking a simple question. Then she said she would return the items and proceeded to tell me that the shirt was "ONLY six dollars and the other one is ONLY thirteen dollars". Frankly I do not care how stupid she thinks it is but my grandmother bought these shirts for my husband and they simply do not fit him I do not need to be talked to in such a manner. I am very upset about this interaction and intent on contacting corporate about this. I feel as if I was dehumanized and treated as a lesser person. I do not need anyone belittling me for trying to return some men's shirts that I LATER SAW BACK ON THE RACK. It's a shame that my grandmother has a Macy's credit card. I have already told her about this interaction. I will not be returning to Macy's for any purchase and am upset that I already bought a bunch of MAC makeup there as I could have gone to Bloomingdale's and treated like a valued customer. Also, when I purchased new shirts from the "last call" section I WAS NOT INFORMED ABOUT THE 29 DAY POLICY. I will not be returning to this Macy's. I like this Macy's. Why? Well, unlike the Aventura Macy's, which is divided into different sections, some of which are at the other end of the mall (I believe that would be the men's and home furnishings section versus the women's section), this Macy's houses all the various departments under one roof, which is convenient. It's also been remodeled, so it is nicer and newer than the Downtown or Aventura locations. The fact that it is in a small outdoor mall helps as well. The only con to this may be that it may not have as much merchandise as the Aventura location, but sometimes, that can be overwhelming anyway. The salespeople are quite pushy here too, they will follow you around and harass you, especially at the perfume counter or the cosmetics section. Trying to escape their grasp can be a difficult task. read more

I really don't like to go to this Macy's. I'm not crazy about the staff--don't get me wrong there are some good employees but there are more bad than good. This ruins the store. The last visit, I went was for a gift for my grandmother, the lady in the handbag section was rude and unhelpful. She kept on correcting us and wouldn't allow us to use a discount that applied on the merchandise and was just plain rude about it. I wouldn't recommend this store to any one.
