So I don't normally buy clothes in Macy's but they are my go-to for their fragrances. They have a huge selection and I appreciate their staff because they allow you to smell the different fragrances to determine which ones are the best fit for you personally. I have been wearing Marc Jacob's Perfect which is still a favorite but last time we came my husband was looking for a new fragrance and I was considering a new fragrance I had gotten a sample of. The associate that helped us was Maritza and she was amazing! Not only did she help my husband find fragrance, he got King by Dolce and Gabbana and I ended up getting Libre Flower and Flame by Yves Saint Laurent. Next time I am looking for a fragrance I will look for Maritza to assist me because she gave great customer service and made sure we had what we liked. read more

My wife tried to use a fitting room to feed our baby and a lady by the name Edna working by the on 34th display told us we weren't allowed in the fitting rooms to do so. This is disappointing you would think an establishment like this would allow for women to have so privacy while breast feeding. My wife had to feed our daughter in the open with multiple people walking by making her uncomfortable. This is a terrible experience. read more

I went to this store yesterday to shop for dresses and shoes for my and mine husband's Marine Corps Ball. I checked out at the shoe counter and was pleasantly greeted by Carolyn and Falone. Both of their customer service was AMAZING. I haven't had friendlier and helpful customer service like that at any store before. Falone was being trained but she was eager to learn and was catching on to Carolyn's help exceptionally fast. You can tell they both truly care about the customers. I'm new to the area so I googled Macys and this was the closest location so off I went. What I wish I would have known is this isn't a regular Macys. This is a discount Macys called "backstage". While a great place to go bargain shopping or for someone looking for a deal, this Macys did not carry the shoes, clothes, perfume, makeup, and purses that a regular Macys does. So come prepared or go find yourselves a different Macys. read more

This review isn't for any specific store, but rather in relation to the online ordering. All I can say is, if the item(s) is not available in store, DON'T order it online, as you will likely be dead by the time you receive it. I placed an order a week ago for 2 pairs of boots that showed to be in stock, but the order still reads "processing". I then got the bright idea to call to check to see what the hold-up was, and got a representative who I absolutely could not understand. All I could piece together was that the shoes are setting in the warehouse somewhere and I will get them someday. read more

Macy's fine jewelry department doe's ring sizing at $34.95 which is a lot less than the other stores nearby. They also do battery changes on most all watches while you wait and will clean blitz your jewelry for free. Make sure you pick up some jewelry cleaner while there it is the best. read more

Alot of options but terrible brands for overpriced. I love shopping to Macy's when there is a sale. If you're lucky to find M, L, & XL here, go grab it because most of the ones left are always XS & S. Shoes are terrible here. Asking prices are around $60-$80 without sale for an ugly shoe designs that came from 2000's. Staff aren't helpful here either in helping you find the right fit, they can only assist you with "checking out" and I caught some other staff watching YouTube in the corner while working. The store is smelly, carpet is filthy, clothes are scattered all over the aisle, and no one seems bothered to organize it. Fitting rooms are adequate and not crowded either. Pandemic wise, staff are wearing a mask but some customers probably "forgot" to wear their's and no one is enforcing it. No one is responsible for disinfecting the store either. The retail store is huge with a second floor and appliance center. The smell of the retail store seems like it's a smell for a closure in the future, shop the best treasure that you can find here. read more

Today I received exceptional customer service from the Visualization Manager of the Hulen Mall location. I arrived at Macy's knowing the names of two products my father wanted for his birthday but I couldn't decide which of the two is the better choice. When I saw Robert R. it looked as though he was nose deep in a major project. Immediately, when I asked for some help he dropped everything to assist me even though it wasn't his department. He methodically answered all of my questions without any hesitation. It may seem like a small deed but it left a lasting impression on me. The customer service was so excellent I didn't think twice about handing over my debit card... I knew I was making the right decision. I popped into this location to have a watch I received as a gift sized. First impression is that its quite dark in the store but very clean, stocked and sized correctly. As a former retail manager kudos to you guys!! That's some impressive work! The store is dated inside but it's well maintained. The odd things is the smell. I've always noticed a funky smell in the home goods department of every Macy's I've been in since I've lived in Texas! I'm not sure I've ever been in the men's section of this store without seeing piles of clothes just strewn about. Nobody seems to organize or sort anything, making it very difficult to find sizes and styles. What's more, employees are few and far between. Ordered a coffee table from Macy's on January 1st to be delivered January 16. Received a call on January 15 that my table base was damaged and I wouldn't receive my coffee table until sometime in March. I called customer service and asked them to waive the delivery fee for the inconvenience and they would not. They would only offer $50 for a 2 month extra wait. That is absolutely not good customer service. I had also planned on buying a mattress and bedroom set, but not now. Do not fall for the coupon scam like I did today. I got a twenty percent off coupon if I used my Macy's credit card. I completed my purchase and saved two dollars on a graphic t-shirt. Levi jeans? Not valid. Docker slacks? Not valid. Tommy Hilfiger polo shirt? Not valid. Why bother sending any with tiny, tiny small print? Once again, I left disappointed not because of the loss of a "great deal", but with waiting at two different cash registers for fifteen minutes to complete my purchase. Went there yesterday to buy a pair of shoes for my daughter's friend. Didn't need to try anything on, just chose a pair in a hurry and needed the right size. Looked around for a sales assoc., no one in sight for about five minutes--at least. Flagged down a sales agent who was walking out from the back. There was already a line of about five people in front of the register. Not a good sign. She said she would check. Meanwhile, witnessed a long procession of unhappy folks arguing with a second associate, who was pretty rude and uncooperative to all the customers. She was very curt and "I'm right, you're wrong" with all the situations I witnessed. Woman who was helping us went to stock room to find the shoes we wanted. Five minutes, then 10 minutes go by. My husband finally says maybe one of us should check if there is another shoe store nearby. I take off and find a Finish Line nearby. Ten more minutes go by, I purchase a pair of shoes, my husband shows up, and we walk back through the Macy's shoe dept. Still no sign of the sales associate who went to get the pair of shoes we wanted. By now, 25 minutes have passed! Filthy carpeting, messy displays. I won't be back here. read more
