Mac's was the perfect place to grab diner after a long day of travel getting to key west. Like many places in key west you're going to have to walk or ride your bike here. I opted for a lime lager and their house burger. When you dream of a Cheeseburger in Paradise that is exactly how it looked and tasted. Mac's offers outside and inside seating, the view of the marina and live music make it a great spot to sit back and relax. I thought the service was good, I didn't get an opportunity to go inside but they have a nice bar too. Bonus points as MAC's has a dog menu! read more

A couple years ago, Mac's Place took over the Mellow Cafe and what a noticeable difference. Beautiful views from under the massive tiki hut while you dine. Ordered some of the plumpest chicken wings I have ever eaten. It was a long day on the water so we did not have cocktails. The server SiSi was attentive and friendly. They offer Daily Specials including Grilled Chicken Teriyaki for $20.00. The inside full liquor bar was classy with a funny bar tender. The gender neutral bathroom was amazing with black onyx sink and toilet, in addition an ultra modern manual press dimming mirror. An ATM machine is also offered inside. read more

The service was not attentive at all, our food was delayed and the waitress never said a thing not refilled my water as I sat on the patio on a hot day. This restaurant took over recently from another place which was horrible. After a few hours on a boat I needed to refuel with a lot of ice water and an amazing fish dip with a few of the largest buffalo style chicken wings. Our waitress was excellent, it was not busy at all so we had all her attention and loved it. The upgrade to the food and the remodeling is extreme and I will return. read more

We have a new vacation home just a few minutes walk away and have been twice. First time was fun but the second visit was just off. This is good place for cheap drinks and a different view in Key West, but they really need to step up their food. It felt like frozen apps from a grocery store at best. And the servers seemed confused and overwhelmed. We may be back if we are out of other options. read more

Had lunch last week & breakfast this AM. Both very good. And deck great for dogs. Even have special 'doggie dishes' on menu, scrambled eggs (was really enuf for 2 but we ordered one for each so took some home in a real doggie bag ). Rancho Huerveos were excellent, as were breakfast potatoes. read more

After a walk on Smathers beach we went for lunch. We were greeted and told we could sit anywhere. Rosalyn was so enthusiastic and very attentive. We ordered drinks margarita for me and painkiller for hubby. Drinks were great. Hubby ordered fish dip and said it was the best he had tasted so far on KW. Ordered BLAT for me and hubby had the black and blue burger. Both dishes were awesome very tasty. We highly recommend and will definitely return while here. read more

Been here a couple of times and the food is good. I order the same thing, Greek Salad with a side of fries. The Greek salad comes with a good amount of chickpeas (love this) and feta. I do ask for extra dressing. The fries are always hot and delicious. This spot is located right before you get into downtown key west so it's nice to get a good meal while also avoiding going all the way into town and searching for parking. Little hidden gym away from Duval Street! We were blessed to be taken care of 3 mornings in a row by the Beautiful Flauvia! Seriously one of the best servers we have ever had! She was an absolute delight each day! Best service hands down the entire trip! Also enjoyed different food each day, and the drinks were fantastic as well. We tried the blackened fresh catch tacos which were good, fish was perfectly cooked and well portioned. It could have used a smidge of Chipotle mayo or something. The chili shrimp tacos were also very good. The shrimp also perfectly cooked. The BBQ tofu sandwich was good, pretty mushy but it matched the softness of the brioche bun. I was just in town recently for work, and my friends decided to take me out. Mac's was the place they said we needed to go to. Man, I'm glad the did. I thoroughly enjoyed the music. As a dancer and choreographer, ambiance and music are key for me. It was great. The vibe was awesome and the food definitely matched. Tasty Nom Nom. And the service, spot on. Our server Kara was quite entertaining herself. Very sweet, funny and super attentive to us. It was a great time. We loved the food, vibes and overall experience. This place is a great place to eat, the happy hour food is delicious and fair priced. The sliders are massive and only $10. The queso is unique, much thicker than traditional queso. The women servers are always super fast, funny, and helpful. They have live music with two guys that play chill rock and cool covers. Having recently moved to the area, I sought restaurants welcoming dogs. This one surpassed expectations. Today, our third visit, featured outstanding food and ambiance. Jordan's singing impressed us; his return from California was a treat. This will be Gumbeaux's (my boxer) and my go-to place for lunch seeing that it's just around the corner. Oh, Sunday ticket? For our first trip to key west we had the BEST food at Mac's place. It is right by the water and the ambiance is key west in a restaurant, literally. Roslyn gave us amazing service Treated us like family and it becomes evident when you move around here that everyone here takes care of each other. The best classic breakfast I've had in my life (after my grandmas lol) Drinks were strong and good flavor, CANNOT wait to come back just for Roselyn and the PERFECT breakfast. read more

Quintessential Key West establishment. The Schooner Wharf Bar at the Key West Seaport is why we come to Key West. Live music is phenomenal. Beers are ice cold. Floors are dirty, bathrooms are clean. Dogs welcome. Gosh I love this place. Service: professional and fast and efficient. Staff know how to run a bar restaurant. Food: do not come here for the food, but it is fine. Hamburgers, fish, shrimp, and hot dog fine. Keep it simple here. Fish is excellent. Fries are coated and not for me and partner.

We ordered the seafood combo with a side salad. (this was like fast bar food , fish was overcooked and conch fritters were nasty). 1- fish platter, blackened (overcooked, tough, dry). 1- Philadelphia cheese steak with onion rings ( steak was good, onion rings started to repeat an hour later. Place was packed for st patty's day. But our server was nice. Whole bill for (4) people $114.00 plus tip
