I am really impressed. I drove 6 hours to my car and realized that I lost my keys and was left for dead. They showed up unlocked my car made me two new keys and a key fob. We needed a second key for our 2009 Toyota RAV 4. We only had a Valet key. After first trying a local locksmith(not Mac's) he said he couldn't dupe our Valet key nor make us a Master. Only the dealer could do that.(At $325 plus a an outside programming fee.) So I checked Yelp and found Mac's Lock and Key. He showed up on time. Made the master key which worked. Opened the car door, started the car and locked and unlocked the Glove Box. For way less than half what the dealer wanted. Spent only about 20 minutes. We are very pleased. read more

I'm really glad other people have had a good experience with them. I on the other hand just paid $80 for a key that doesn't work. When I explained that the key turns but doesn't actually lock my door he said that I have a broken lock then. When I asked what we were going to do about it, he said that's not his problem. So apparently I just got basically scammed for $80. I really thought he might do the right thing & refund my money but instead he showed his true POS colors & told me that he wasn't going to do anything about it since the key turns both ways, even though it doesn't lock anything!!! They're only getting one star from me because there's not an option of negative stars! I spoke to another locksmith who completely agreed with me that you should check your work & I should've only been charged if it actually locks my vehicle. When I first called you I was very polite & just stated that your key doesn't actually lock my truck door. It wasn't until you told me that it's not your problem that I got loud & started cursing. read more
