I was hopeful that this would be a good solution for getting the sound on my iPhone 6 fixed. When…read moreI brought in my phone, he told me that he shouldn't have any trouble fixing it and took a deposit. Later, he called back and said that he was not able to fix it after all. I picked up my phone and he did not return the deposit. (I believe I lost about $30, just for letting him unsuccessfully try fixing it.) I then went to the Apple Store and they were able to fix it for about $5 more than iSmartDoctor was charging. Also, the Apple Store assured me that if they were not able to fix it, I would not have to pay anything. I have learned my lesson. From now on, I will just go to the Apple Store in the first place. ---------- I wasn't questioning if I signed something saying the deposit was non-refundable. However, I was simply pointing out that is not true at the Apple Store. Also, they were able to fix it there.

I turned in my laptop in Thursday to Ms. Patty (the…read moreowner) was told they'd give us a call of the diagnosis later that day, which I did not , and had to call them. They then told us Friday that they still haven't gotten to it (we only saw one other laptop other than ours when we turned it in) . Saturday, they called us to let us know they can fix it , in 2 hours , thank god!! But also let us know that the hinge on the laptop broke (which was not broken when we turned it in). Never got any call about my laptop being finished that day . Sunday they were closed. And today still no call so I went myself to retrieve my laptop. Hinge is literally completely broken, and they ( Derrick and Patty) expect me to still pay almost another $100 for them to fix what THEY broke. Not sure if they get bored there from not doing their jobs and start throwing the laptops around or as head rests while they're clearly not doing anything . I work in the service industry and understand how customers can be tedious so I have patience for workers but when the communication skills are terrible, service SUCKS, and no one wants to do their job, there are other companies that can take my money.

Another place I had gone to said my battery needed to be replaced and that the rest of the phone…read morewas fine. Unfortunately for me, that shop closes on my only day off work. So I decide to come into All Cellular since my mom had a good experience some years ago. They initially told me $45 for the battery replacement. The guy says "wait 10-15 minutes," I happily say yes. About AN HOUR later the same guy comes out to tell me that he couldn't get the home button on my iPhone to work. That wasn't a problem before. "It'll be $20 because I need to replace the entire screen now" he says. "But that wasn't a problem before coming in here" I responded. Basically, I had to have my screen replaced to have a working phone. He said "I'll pay half". Whatever. Sure. About 30 minutes later it's done. He says they only take cash. Why wasn't this mentioned during the almost hour and a half I was just sitting there? I'm extremely upset at this point and ask where I can find a Chase ATM because I'm not spending more money than needed on this little deal. A girl with really long hair who works there says "go to the Walgreens right there they have a chase atm". So I go. Oh and I had to leave my phone, that's fine no big deal. Turns out that the Walgreens doesn't have a chase atm so I paid $3 more for this whole ordeal. I couldn't map a nearby chase atm because once again, I had to leave my phone at the store. I come back to the store and the guy says it's $65. I'm like what? I only got $60 because $45 + the $10 (remember he had said he'd pay fo half of the 20 for the screen WHICH WAS HIS MISTAKE to begin with FYI). So he says ok, and I thought I would get $5 back....but of course not! And I told the girl "by the way, Walgreens doesn't have a chase atm. I had to pay $3 extra for this" and she unapologetically just says "ok". Horrible horrible and I feel like they find ways to get more money out of you. I wasted my time and my money. If you're looking for cheaper places that actually are honest and do a good job, I recommend a phone repair shop inside the flea market called El Centro on indian School ad 43rd. I took…read moremy iPhone 17 Pro to get the screen replaced first red flag was but he couldn't tell me how much the price was until he already worked on the phone . But anyways, I decided to stay and give it a try after he was done replacing the screen. He had told me he has two different type of strains one is cheap and other is premium or whatever. I was down to spend extra money to get the premium, but he said he didn't have it in stock and will take him an hour. Anyone that has a busy schedule and that just needs their phone replaced would have done what I did and just take the cheaper one so I could go get my kids and do what I need to. After three days of having it the screen was already coming off so I decided to call and told him what was going on and immediately got blamed for dropping it or breaking it and couldn't even get a chance to talk because the owner is so rude. After trying to explain over the phone, what was going on with my phone and him being extremely rude and saying that he doesn't do any warranties or anything like that for the phone. And I tried to explain that the phone is not broken and that it just needs to be installed correctly. Then the owner decided to get extremely butt hurt because I criticize this work for being half done and then he got extremely rude anyways flashback to going to the store to get it replaced because I don't have another hundred dollars to pay just because someone doesn't know how to put a replacement phone. I go there and I still get blamed for doing something that I didn't do and owner is very upset that I criticized his half done work after further examination he said that the reason it was coming off is because he didn't install the glue right, even though he admitted to not having a clue right bro, still wants to be mad that I said that his work is half done so after being in his shop, literally screaming at each other because he has no manners and doesn't want to let anyone talk replace it and when I inspect the phone, a lot of glue residue and just a crappy job. After my horrible experience, I got offered a free screen protector, but didn't want him to install because I don't know if he's capable of doing something so hard I would stay away from this shop pelenty phone repaid that will treat you right and do a great job not half done
