Cromer's P-Nuts was an amazing store, and is such a gem in the city of Columbia! First and…read moreforemost, I loved the aesthetic of the store, with the bright yellow umbrellas, posters, and peanut-shaped signs on the front of the store, and especially the old-school "Greetings from Columbia S.C." mural on one of the sides of the store. When I walked inside, I saw the classic yellow bags of popcorn, but also so many different flavors of popcorn that I had never heard of before. While I don't think that I would personally like most of them, they were still a lot of fun to look at. I also loved the cool pieces of artwork on the walls, which were definitely a blast from the past! If I were a kid, I would have loved the bulk candy aisle, and if I hadn't just eaten, I would've also loved to get a hot dog! I did get a bag of boiled peanuts for a family member, who said that they were great. Finally, the two (2) staff members on duty were very nice and helpful, readily offered their assistance, and were kind enough to chat with me for a few minutes about the store. All-in-all, Cromer's P-Nuts was awesome, I'd definitely recommend it, and I'll assuredly be back in the future!

Loved it when we paid $60 to get in as a family and didn't have children begging to do other things that cost extra. The concessions are overpriced too, $5 for a crappy hotdog is just sad. Imagine that- a family of 4 spending $60 to get in, then to have to spend $40 for lunch ($20 for hot dogs, $12 for drinks, and $8-12 for chips) and now added activities that cost $3-5 in less than 5 minutes. Not sure if we'll go back next year.

Prepare to be disappointed in the "chocolate factory" which does not appear to be anything one could tour. There was a woman in the gift shop assembling white chocolate turtles in between ringing up customers, but that was it. Gift shop has some different things, but of our party of 6 people, no one found anything to purchase. First, secure a table and make note of the number. Next, order and pay at the counter and provide the table number. Lastly, get your drinks and return to the table to wait for your food. Robot "waiters" assit the servers by rolling out the food to your table.
