I love the MoMA and there are plenty of awesome designs at the MoMA store that showcase artists or…read moreart displayed in the museum. There are so many options to pick up a souvenir from your museum visit! The location of the store is split in three locations, two inside the museum itself 1) directly to the left and down a floor when you enter from the 53rd Street entrance, 2) upstairs on the second floor of the museum toward the east side of the building closer to the second floor museum cafe, 3) directly across the street from the 53rd Street entrance on the south side of the street. They all carry the same items with varying degrees of overlap, the second floor store is the smallest, the store across the street carries more home furnishing items. From postcards, posters and stationery, writing tools, kitchen serving ware and utensils, toys, jewelry, accessories, home decor, books and other printed media, expect all sorts of creative designs. While I want to support art and artists, I think the only downside is that prices are definitely on the higher side, in general NY tourist attractions tend to upcharge so much for even the most basic items (like $8 magnets).

I discovered this website about 6 weeks ago when I was searching for matching pieces to my existing…read morefurniture that are no longer made by the manufacturer. I was thrilled to find them at a huge discount. Aptdeco made the whole process very easy. My only minor complaint was the lack of updating the shipping/tracking information. However, I was able to reach out to both delivery teams (I ordered 2 pieces) and they responded very quickly. Both were very polite when delivering and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. Highly recommend!

The first time my dresser arrived brand new with some minor hiccups in shipping (1.5 months for shipping). The second time I purchased a console for $600 (plus an additional $400 for shipping from PA to CA) that was obviously used and damaged, even though it had been listed as BRAND NEW by the seller. There was a big crack running along the top of the drawer and some minor scratches on the surface. I wasn't home at the time of the delivery, so I did not notify AptDeco within 48 hours that the furniture was used/damaged. Therefore, they refused to offer any partial refund, and also refused to reprimand the seller or reach out to the seller on my behalf to let them know that this type of bait and switch was unnacceptable. Therefore, after the second experience of spending $1000 for a damaged console, I don't think I would order from AptDeco again. If you did get a counterfeit, knockoff, or damaged item, unless you notify them WITHIN 48 HOURS OF DELIVERY, and even then, consider it your loss, as they will not care at all.

After hemming and hawing for all of five minutes and checking across the street if anyone recognized me, I walked in and quickly requested a 45-minute massage. I was impressed with the experience. This place is cleaner than most reflexology Chinese massage places. There's a faint smell of lavander and soft Asian sounding music. The massage tables are new and the breathing holes plushly padded. I've never breathed easier on a massage table. The staff speaks English relatively well and they speak in hushed and respectful tones. The massage itself was about average, but I know from experience that the variation in skill level can be quite large even within the same parlor. The prices are the same as other reflexology places in the area, $38 for a 45-minute massage. I'm gonna have to come back just as soon as I get over the guilt..

I was feeling delighted, and free as the aromas whirled in my head making me fortunate to have found this store. What a great little place!
