Not a fan. My daughter waited 4 months for parts.... The front counter person/manager is VERY rude but we need to stick with them because our insurance already paid. They had to take apart the bumper to see what repairs needed to happen and made us pay to put it back on so we could use the car. Grrrr. So maybe it did take 4 months to get the parts in but there was no communication with us unless we contacted them. Steer clear, will never go to them again sadly. Wanted to support a small business in our town, should have gone to Hot Rod Dreamworks, have heard amazing things about them. Not sure if they are a preferred auto body place with our insurance though. Sigh. Will update once the car gets repaired...hope it doesn't take another 4 months. read more

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE HANDS DOWN!!! We went the day before to get a quote they didn't deny us even knowing that we got our spoiler from another company Even if it's an easy job I didn't have time because of the weather. They asked me to come back since I got there later in the day. I went back the next day and the gentleman which I should've asked his name. He was slim Hispanic Man he took my car into the second garage door from the right. He was Great!! Came in today with a question, Alena one of the estimators said let's take a look. She got on the ground and took a look at my vehicle. She then grabbed a battery operated impact wrench, went back under my car and tightened 4 loose bolts which solved my problem and sent me away with a solved problem and a smile. Took my vehicle to this shop after having a accident. They gave me a bid for 8200.00 dollars. The insurance said it was too much and I might want to look around. I came back after a week they were very upset the estimator told me that he spent 3 hours on the estimate and he wasn't happy. We walked to my truck where my battery was dead. He did not offer a jump start he just walked away. I asked a employee of the shop for a jump and he said sorry I can't. Thank God Les Schwab is across the street. They sent over one of there service trucks and jumped me for free. MACKIN LACKIN in customer service. Funny thing is earlier this year I had 2 of our company cars fixed here. Never again read more

Recently took my car into Mackin's in Canby, for a windshield lining repair. When the automobile was returned to me, not only was it repaired; it had been washed and waxed. Even the tires had been blackened and the interior cleaned. I'd been referred to them by friends, and I wasn't disappointed. My daughter was rear-ended on the left rear bumper of her car. Before she could get it in for an estimate and repair, she needed to make a long road trip. We stopped by Mackin's. They checked to make sure there was no structural damage and secured her bumper & side panel so nothing was sticking out. They didn't charge her anything and the employee who worked on her car refused to take a tip. He said, "It's a courtesy!" They were awesome! read more

Repainted the Pick-Up Box on my Ford Super Duty. Did not refinish over the entire top of the Bed Rails as was agreed on, area directly behind the right rear wheel on bottom not painted, some small rock chips still remain. Cannot recommend them. read more

We took our car there because it was an authorized shop from our insurance. My husband hit a deer and smashed up the front of our car. The entire process was very easy. We frequently had calls updating us on the progress. When we picked up our car it looked brand new. The inside was cleaned up very nicely as well. I have a 2012 GMC truck I had AAA bring it to them after being hit by a farmers insured person. I asked them if they charged storage they said no from Dec 17 to Jan 2 it took farmers to say it was total. and they offered me 9000.00 under BLUE BOOK Than I had my insurance handle it than MACKINS told them they owe 1200.00 storage fee's now it sat for another 5 days when my insurance told me about the 1200 + more now I went down and asked them what happen. They told me since Farmers total it they charge for storage. So please br aware when getting a estimate from them I now have to wait another 2 days til they get to the estimate.
