Another driver accidentally backed into my car in a parking lot. The process for me was absolutely frictionless! Caliber got my car checked in, and coordinated with the Enterprise down the street to shuttle me over to pick up a rental car. Caliber was very thorough--because the damage included bumping the tire, they made sure to check and fix the tire alignment, in addition to all the body work. I got text updates when they started and finished working on my car, as well as estimate dashboards so I knew what was being billed to the other driver's insurance. They had my car back to me in less than a week! They'd given it a full wash and interior detailing, which was kind--it's a 13-year-old family car, plenty of dog fur and debris. Mace was so helpful and excellent to work with, and the whole team did a great job. I'm glad I didn't have to foot the bill, but the result and experience were terrific!

From the moment I dropped my Jeep off after my accident, I told Caliber Collision there was engine…read moredamage. I said it clearly. I said it repeatedly. They flat-out refused to listen. Instead of doing their job and diagnosing the problem, they dismissed me like I didn't know my own vehicle. Weeks went by with the same response: ignore, deflect, delay. Then came the most insulting part -- their "mechanic" (who I was told is part-time) tried to blame the engine damage on me because I had replaced coil packs and spark plugs. That excuse is laughable. Routine maintenance does not magically cause accident-related engine damage, and anyone with basic automotive knowledge knows that. Let's be very clear: * The engine issue started immediately after the accident * I reported it from day one * Caliber Collision ignored it * When they could no longer avoid it, they tried to shift blame onto me This wasn't a mistake -- it was negligence and gaslighting. If you don't fight them every step of the way, they will minimize real issues and protect themselves instead of your vehicle. I would never trust Caliber Collision with another repair. If you care about your car, your time, or being taken seriously -- go somewhere else.

Tony arrived on time, did good work on the glass he installed--my windows were smashed through, and…read morethe new window rolls up and down smoothly. We did have a hiccup--no extension cord to his vacuum. I appreciated him calling me to tell me that. I came down w/ my handvac and we vacuumed up the pieces INSIDE THE CAR DOOR. He explained that often when you bring it into shops, the reason why it could feel like the window's "catching" when you roll it up and down's because of the glass shards that are still in there. By the end of it, I think there were at least a dozen or so pieces in there that I couldn't get to w/ my handvac before we sealed up the whole thing. But if I didn't have a handvac, I can imagine it would have been a bigger headache driving around to locate a close enough outlet. Keep that in mind when you book. So far no rain yet to test how gasket's sealing, but I will update if anything changes. Note: It's cash or money order. Altogether I think the work took about 30-40 minutes. More Details: I found Tony through another listing. He explained that he subscribed to an auto glass marketing thing to give his business more visibility. I'm not sure if the marketers really do that great of a job. That listing on Yelp had 0 reviews and only showed up on a Sunday morning because I had filtered for businesses that were "opened now". Otherwise, it had 20+ businesses before it. Tony was the 1st person who picked up and gave me a quote that was a 50%+ discount to what Safelite quoted me. I was pretty skeptical and point blank said: I will pay more for better glass. He said he didn't have that option. Just the standard (530?) aftermarket glass that he believes is visibly indistinguishable from OEM glass except for the logo/decal at the bottom right corner. I have no way of evaluating this but I called around enough to be spooked by other vendors who suggested that folks charging low rates will inevitably do a poor job and potentially break my car door. In the end, I went w/ Tony because he had the earliest availability (the next day, Monday afternoon) and I'm glad I gave him a shot.

From May 5th 2026 through May 6th, I spent hours negotiating with salesman Danie on a certified pre-owned 2023 Acura MDX. We reached an agreed-upon out-the-door price, and I was told Sales Manager Alec Torres would call me on May 7th to complete financing over the phone. What followed was days of complete radio silence. Multiple calls and texts to Alec Torres went unanswered. When I called the dealership, staff said they couldn't discuss financing until Manager Brad Caba was available because I wasn't buying in person. On May 8th, after repeated calls and being told Brad was "in meetings," I was finally informed -- via text -- that the car I had agreed to buy had already been sold. No one had bothered to tell me earlier, even though I was actively trying to move forward. While I understand cars can sell, being strung along for multiple days with zero communication was unacceptable. Alec later apologized and admitted it was his fault, but then repeatedly tried to push me into a lease, a higher-mileage MDX at a higher price, and even offered to find me something at auction. I repeatedly asked to speak with a manager instead. It is now May 12th and I have reached out via text, voicemail, email, FB messenger and still no response back from any of the platforms. This level of poor communication, lack of transparency, and bait-and-switch behavior is unacceptable. I negotiated in good faith only to be ignored and misled. As a result, I will not be buying from this dealership and strongly advise others to stay clear of Dick Hannah Acura of Portland.

I just had work done here, and I'm so glad I found this shop. Six star service! This is the best experience I've ever had at a mechanic. Everyone was friendly and explained what they were doing and what was needed. No one was rude. I was amazed to find a shop open on Saturday! How great is that, and rare. Also, I chatted with the owner and the mechanic. He said that his shop just hit 25 years this week. Do you think a shop that treats his customers badly or is dishonest stays in business for that long? The owner has so much experience. I just described another issue we have been dealing with, one that he wasn't even looking into. This issue I've tried to have fixed at another shop. Only like one or two sentences and he told me what the problem was, what was happening and what needed to be fixed! I got to see a classic he fully restored. You can tell it is something he loves, and I think that means something. I saw multiple people while I was there with my car come by and they all got helped. Everyone seemed like they were in a good mood, happy customers. One more thing. With prices for everything increasing all the time, next time you need an oil change come by here. How much are you paying? I just got mine done, before I knew about this shop. It is about half the price! I will be back, but hopefully not too soon! Haa
