Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic!!!! I hugged a post and scraped up the back door on my new Highlander. I was so sad-- yellow and black paint ground in my paint job and plastic door bumper. My spouse took it in, easily anticipating a three or low four digit repair. Walked right in. They took one look at it, pulled out some magical solution, which I'm told they have specially blended for them, and wiped it off. Buffed with a little wax and the damage is GONE. Asked how much it was going to cost, "No charge; tell your friends." So there you have it, people. An auto body shop that is run by benevolent wizards. We'll be back to give them our business with our other car, which has seen some shit over the years, and hopefully they will at least take some of our money. read more

Someone did a hit and run on my truck, I went to Thompson Auto Body without a appointment, and let me tell you Monica and the rest of the Staff did such an amazing Job not only with Customer service, but with explaining every step to getting my truck fixed. I have never been to this shop but they showed nothing but trust for us. They let us leave our truck with them, they called us to update us, they even went as far to hold our truck until we got back from our week Vacation. Not only will I give them my business, but I would be sure to recommend them to everyone I come into contact with. My truck was fixed within a week or so and now looks brand new. Everyone at Thompson Auto Body was kind, generous, and trustworthy the entire time. I have not felt comfortable in most car shops, as I had to take my Subie in MULTIPLE TIMES for it to still have problems, and even more than what we had came in for, so I was hesitant until I met Monica and the staff, we just got our Truck back today and it is in AMAZING condition. Monica and Jim have taken great care of our vehicles over and over. Monica handles the insurance and all the details and parts (and hand holding, when I need it!), while Jim does an expert job of repairing and repainting. The staff was always replying to my emails about updates and answered every-time I called. They fixed my car in 2 and a half months and made sure it was carefully inspected. Wow, where do i begin. I took my 2015 black dodge ram to Thompson Auto Body after an accident. I left my truck unwashed and dirty. Right away Monica started taking care of the paperwork, scheduled my rental car and got me in the next day. Immediately, it was evident that this is not your average auto body shop. James loves cars and takes care of his customers, Monica takes care of the rest. Upon picking up my truck this mourning, i was delighted at the detailed work these guys performed. My truck is in far better shape than it was before my accident. Besides perfectly matching and blending the black metallic paint, they fully detailed the exterior of my truck. Great body shop. This place is 200% legit!! Repairs went above and beyond expectations. I hardly recognized my car when I went to pick it up. The headlights glowed, the rims sparkled, and the paint glistened. My car looked 5 years newer than when I dropped it off, even though the only thing they were repairing was the front end. Furthermore the owner and his wife are also super legit. They won't bullshit you and they won't give you a run for your money. This is a good, honest, family run company. I grew up hanging around my uncle's shop, Hy Teck Auto (four hours south of here), and I've heard the horror stories. I've also spent time doing auto body work myself, so I know the difference between good and bad work. There are a lot of corrupt people in the business but my uncle is one of the few honest ones. That being said I'm decently good at recognizing the crooks and the honest people in the auto repair business, I'll tell you, it ain't hard if you know what to look for, but a lot of people get conned anyways. Thompson Auto is one of the few good guys in the business. Also, the same repairs at another shop would have cost me double. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family and people I want to have a positive experience when it comes to body repairs and paint. read more

I just had a mirror replaced and painted but the mirror I had brought in was the wrong type. They took care of the issue and I wasn't charged more because of it. They also touched up a few scratches for me without charging extra. These little customer service acts went above the job I was paying them for. The work was done right and they are very friendly. They'll walk you through anything you need to know/want to know. Hopefully, I will not be in need of more work, but if so I know where to go. read more

They did a great job at Thompson's auto body repair in my car. Monica called every couple of days to let us know what was going on and they were very responsive when we had questions. They were in contact with our insurance company and were able to get changes made to the estimate when they found more problems. They even insisted on using manufacture parts instead of aftermarket to make sure we would be safe. Will definitely use them in the future. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the service we just received! My 22 year old son just moved to Portland after graduating from college. 15 days later, he wrecked the car. Monica was wonderful to work with in keeping his costs down as HE had no money and we live in California and were paying for the repairs. They were fantastic at walking our son through the process. I had minor scratches and paint on my left rear bumper due to someone else backing up into me... the first place I went to told me it was through my paint and would cost me $250. Awesome body shop! Needed my low-mileage but 25-year-old 4Runner's crumpled tailgate (don't ask) replaced. Wrecking yards don't hang onto metal body parts this old but owner Monica said she'd see what she could find. She called me a few hours later with info from a Craigslist ad. It was the correct year so I snapped it up, but mine has a spare tire which meant the license plate bracket and the backup lights and the lighting harness and the tire mount would all need to be hand customized to make it work. Owner Jimmy and his main helper, John, spent hours fabricating a new tailgate using parts from the "new" tailgate and pieces of mine. I am blown away by the results! To see her now, you would never believe what my baby looked like when I left her in their hands. Jimmy and his crew are true craftsmen for our chariots! read more
