First visit to Fiesta Azul Tequila House, and based on the amount of food that somehow ended up on…read moreour table, we clearly came prepared to investigate the menu properly. We started with the chips and salsa, which were fresh and crispy, followed by the queso and guacamole. The queso was good--pretty much your classic cheese dip--but the guacamole was fresh, creamy and absolutely delicious. Of course, we also had to try the margaritas, and now I understand why this place is known for them. Fantastic. Fruity, flavorful, beautifully presented and dangerously easy to drink. Then came my favorite thing of the entire meal: the birria ramen. The noodles had that perfect bouncy chew, the egg was cooked beautifully, and the broth somehow found the sweet spot between traditional ramen and rich Mexican birria. It didn't taste like someone simply dumped birria into a bowl of noodles and called it fusion--it actually worked. The chicken mole enchiladas were enjoyable, but didn't execute that traditional flavor coming across a bit bland and lackluster. I also assumed there would be cheese inside with the chicken, and there wasn't. That's on me! Next time I'm asking for cheese because I think that would've made a huge difference. And finally, the molcajete arrived. Loaded with grilled meats, seafood, vegetables and fresh cactus, it was extraordinary. So many different flavors and textures packed into one dish, and the cactus was especially good. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Service was good, everything was clean, though the restaurant has a somewhat bland yet modern atmosphere.

Let me tell you this was the best Mexican I have had since I moved from California where the best Mexican food exists besides Mexico. I had the ahi tuna ceviche. Best ceviche I have ever had and I have had ceviche through out the world. Best, hands down. The flavors coming out of this dish had me talking about them for the last 4 hours. Phenomenal. My family had various dishes, chicken quesadilla, a chicken mole, a burrito, a taco, and a veggie dish. All reported better than a typical place. They had some really interesting things on the menu, so can't wait to get back there. Service was great and there were a ton of people there. Food presented well and tasted fresh. Chips and chipotle dipping salsa were excellent too. Bathrooms and dining room were spotless and for a place that has chips, that is a difficult feat. Well done! This is a must try. Let me know what you think!

Pricing is okay, three dollars a taco. If you order less than five they automatically add fifty cents for sauce. I went with three tacos so my total after tax and the salsa surcharge was just over ten dollars. I also thought it was a bit strange that they use paper plates and wrap them in plastic wrap instead of your more traditional takeout container. The tacos themselves were good. Overall, a decent for tacos.

Not sure why this place wasn't packed because of the food and drink quality was amazing. For drinks, I ordered the Cantarito Jalisco and boy it was strong. They don't mess around with their alcohol. While it was strong, it was still tasty and it came along with mini Reposado bottle where you dump the contents into your drink. If you like strong drinks like me, I recommend this one. My MIL and hubby had a margarita and I don't remember what it was called but man was it a HUGE margarita! You definitely need to pace yourself with this one. I definitely want come back for happy hour! For our entree, I ordered the Enchiladas Guadalajara. It was delicious. I'm such an enchilada girl and this one landed in my top 3. It comes with 3 shredded chicken enchiladas topped with queso fresco and sour cream. Soooo yummy. It comes with a side of yellow rice and salad. I want to try different items on the menu next time but this one was a good first choice. Overall, the vibe inside the restaurant, cleanliness, and staff attention exceeded expectations. Thanks Agave D'Oro!

We opted for a quick dinner at the bar. And quick it was, but so good. I had their chimichanga. Fantastic and huge. The meat was perfectly seasoned and so tender. The toppings were fresh. Great presentation with refried beans. Delish. My wife had the carnitas tacos. You get three for like $15. She reports them being delicious as well. Her's came with rice and beans which were excellent. The portions here are huge. The ingredients are excellent, so they aren't skimping. The food to value ratio is excellent. Great food, lots of it at reasonable prices is win! And the people are all so nice. They even have extra patience when some asks a million questions while butchering pronunciation. LOL. Good peeps. If you want solid Mexican, this is the place. Consistent in all areas.

Facility: this is a small quaint spot with Mexican decor with red seats. There is booth and regular seating. The booths have high back which allows for nice privacy. Service: the waiters are always super helpful and nice here. The food comes out quick too. Food: I love the salsa here. It's so hard to find a place with a good salsa and I like theirs. We always order the queso dip too. It was a little too thin this time and they fixed it right away. I also always get the carnitas fajitas. I love carnitas and when they put it on the sizzling cast iron, it adds some crunchy "burnt" parts. Not really burnt, but well done and delicious. But there's still plenty of tender juicy parts of the carnitas too. Another downfall is they only give you rice or beans and not both like usual Mexican restaurants. Otherwise the food is top notch. Overall: this is the 3rd time I've come here. It's not too far from where I live and I like the food and service, so we will be back.

It seems fresh but made the day before and refrigerated fresh rather than table side fresh. Didn't find the jalapeños or onions. The place is super cool! I love the wall paint/ decor. The woman's bathroom mural is so beautiful. Th bartender was nice just seemed spread too thin. Bar guests inside, outside, a section and making drinks is a lot. The manager however!! Is amazing. Female. She helped a lot. Stepped in, cleared plates, made drinks, refilled beverages. I would give more stars because of her.. however i think not washing the chip baskets is unsanitary. I understand they are lined with wax paper.. but they should still get washed.
