You can find parking on the street, or you can park in the lot. There isn't a parking meter anymore, so I'm not sure what the city guidelines are for payment, but your first two hours parking there are free! When walking towards the cafe, you will see a sign for a pub. You can walk inside and turn towards the right. The cafe and baristas are located towards the very back! Yet, once you go inside, you notice all the seating that is available. We have asked towards the baristas, and used a little tablet to scan their menu. We ended up ordering a tonic and a banana cold brew. They also had food items! We had chosen their breakfast burrito. Their coffee is strong and you can feel the caffeine. Yet, the sweetness is perfect and can mask your actual caffeine intake! It's amazing how they can do both. Their burrito was very savory and delicious as well. It's always quick and clean at this cafe. The baristas are always sweet. My fiancé and I do come here to do work, and their WiFi is decent, too. I highly recommend this cafe if you're ever in the area!

We split an order of seasoned fries and an icy cold Pepsi. Price was fair and customer service was super homely. Wait time for our food was minimal and they even walked our lunch baskets to us. My wife really enjoyed her western-style "Treasure" burger and I essentially inhaled my double cheeseburger. They were both cooked perfectly, without rush, and very neatky assembled, as if the cooks were prepping it for themselves or for royalty. Definitely recommend this spot and will return. Next time I'll try the Treasure burger, but only as a double burger because I'm really trying to watch my figure.

Okay, this place is a vibe…read more I got the banana matcha latte and I'm still thinking about it. It tasted like banana bread in latte form, unreal. 10/10, no notes. The breakfast burrito was also solid. The salsa was chef's kiss, great texture. The only thing is the bacon was a bit much for me personally, so I pulled it out, but that's a me thing, not a them thing. Still really good. I stole a bite of my brother's breakfast sandwich and the fries, and honestly I'm mad I didn't get my own order. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the sauce that came with them was so good. But the vibe alone is worth the visit. Cozy, great music, people just studying and chilling. There's even a little barbershop next door, which makes it feel like a whole hangout spot and not just a coffee shop. Staff were super sweet too. I didn't even get to try their desserts or other drinks, so believe me, I'll be back. This is officially my new spot.

You can feel the history there and but don't judge it on its aesthetics. It may look a little run down, but the food and service make up for it. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a warm welcome by the host. The menu was pretty easy to navigate but I had heard this place was known for their fried chicken. So of course I had to get the half bird. The chicken was juice and crispy. I loved that the batter was light but not oily. What really surprised me was the waffle. I normally don't like waffles but this waffle was AMAZING. Literally one of the best waffles I've ever had in my life. I just love that Day Day's felt like a home cooked meal rather than a gimmicky experience. I will note that they do not take card here. They do take cash and Zelle, so be prepared for that. Other than that, I had an amazing time.

I have a soft spot when it comes to getting pancakes with either boysenberry or blueberry syrup…read more Tara was in love with IHOP and she used to alternate putting a berry syrup on the top pancake, traditional maple syrup on the second pancake, and then back to berry for the last of the triple stack. So now that's what I do. That's why when I go to pancake joints like Pancakes R Us with their selection of syrups, I immediately smile. Yes, I like diner flapjacks and I like places that serve fruity pancakes, but it's nothing compared to how I overjoyed I get when a place has all the syrups and are willing to share them with you. The other parts of the breakfast were good too. The eggs were super runny and sunny, just like they were supposed to be. The breakfast links were good, if not skinny, but they give you four so I'm all good with that. And the hash browns were okay, but it's very hard to eff up those to any degree. And the coffee refills came in hot and came in often. I got to the five benchmark in less than an hour. That's all you want from your server. And this server anticipated me every time as if he were some kind of coffee Oracle. The place was kind of dim and old, but I kind of dug it because it gave away a hangout vibe, like I was a regular as soon as I walked in the door. I even talked MLS/La Liga/Premier League with the server like we were old friends. But the best part was the superb access to those berry syrups. That's the key to any success flapjack joint.

We ordered the brisket breakfast sandwich, the hash brown fritters and the french toast dippers. They had 1 customer before us. Then as we were waiting about 3 more door dash orders came in. We got our food last. For the 3 items we waited 30 minutes!!! That is insane! They either need more workers or get a better system going. As we got our food we started eating our sandwich and it WAS ABSOLUTELY DRENCHED IN OIL! It was so gross and even inedible! As i told my concerns to the staff member, there was no apology or anything to make it right. The response was "we just got slammed on door dash." So disappointed in the lack of pride or quality in not only their food and products but in their effort and service. Which is super sad because my husband and I have been here a few times and enjoyed it. Most of the time as I observed, no one was in the front of the house by the register. So not sure how 2 of them took that long to make sandwiches. We also got 1 napkin for our food and no water. After we had waited in the line a few times because no one was attentive in the front of the store. We also love coming to Chase's for special events and holidays and to have this place totally miss the mark was sad. When we choose a place to earn our hard earned money, we expect at least the minimal amount of good food.

The coffee tastes like a clean, bitter, cold brew with a foamy top. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 4% Cash Discount.) I arrived at Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) on Thursday (around 12:13PM). Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. There's about four interior tables, but there's also 16 outside patio tables. The location is clean, well-maintained, and well ventilated. Overall, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a good, local neighborhood spot. It offers affordable choice that are prepared "good enough." I wouldn't drive a long distance for this spot, but it's a decent option if you're already nearby. 4.5 out of 5
