This place sucks ass, the experience was extremely disappointing and far below what any customer should reasonably expect. From the lack of organization to the poor communication and apparent carelessness during the visit, the entire operation felt chaotic and unprofessional. As I am writing this comment, I've been sitting here for 40 minutes. I arrived expecting a routine service and instead left frustrated by delays, confusion of the staff who is the guy walking around like he own the place. He's not even doing anything about this delays and the apparent inability of staff to manage even basic tasks efficiently. At this point, it honestly feels like a group of chimpanzees can run this place better. While I understand mistakes can happen, the overall level of incompetence and disregard for customer service was unacceptable. I don't think I'm coming back to this place ever again.

The guys were not pushy, offered me some extra services that i would normally do if it wasn't for the service plan i already have on the car through dealership. I brought in my son's new car (a 2023 Mazda with only 20,000 miles) for an oil change over the weekend. After the service, warning lights for low engine oil started coming on almost immediately. At first, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back, thinking maybe it was just a faulty sensor, especially since I had gone through a car wash. However, the warning light continued all weekend. On Monday, I took the car to a Mazda dealership, and they confirmed--via video--that the issue was due to not enough oil being added during the service. I shared that video with this shop, and instead of taking accountability and simply refunding the $100, they said they're "investigating." Meanwhile, I had to spend additional time and money fixing their mistake. This was a dangerous oversight on their part and completely unacceptable. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend them to anyone based on this experience.

It turned out the code the reader gave them was not the right one, and despite the fact that the new part had already been installed, Mike and his team did more diagnostics, ran tests on the old part, reinstalled it, and didn't charge me a cent for the service. I expected to at least pay for the 6-8 hours of labor the mechanics did in trying to figure out what was going on, but Mike wouldn't let me pay or even let me tip! His reasoning? "You're paying me to fix your car, and we didn't fix your car." If you're looking for a reliable mechanic who will charge fair prices, get work done in a reasonable amount of time, won't try to upsell you on parts and services you don't need, and will be honest when he doesn't think he can help you, come to Pinecrest Automotive Center!
