The price went up a little bit because they found that the driver side axel was bad and offered to change it for the price of the part since they were already there. They did a great job, and my car is running smoother than it has in the past two years.

I would have guessed the ink on 1-year warranty would have dried before I'd need to use it. Sadly, that isn't the case. Now, I'll need to pay to rent a car for another multi-day stint with AAction. (I don't suppose they'd be gracious enough to pick up the tab for continued inconvenience)... needless to say, I'm not terribly satisfied with AAction Better Built Transmissions right about now...

What they don't do is try to get me to okay service or repairs that are not necessary. Best decision I ever made was to switch from dealership repair shops to Toyoworks. I recently found a nail in one of my tires that was causing a slow leak. Although I didn't have an appointment, I called Toyoworks. I was told to bring it in and it was fixed within an hour. The price seemed high, but since I was still price shopping and didn't know what was reasonable, I thanked him and told him exactly that before leaving to check other places. Less than an hour later, I came back because I hadn't found another option and decided I was over the hassle of shopping around. When I returned, he raised the price (Proceeds to lie). That immediately felt wrong to me. When I questioned it, his tone gave me the impression that he was upset I had not accepted his original offer earlier, and that he increased the price because he assumed I did not find a better deal elsewhere. I was very bothered by that and decided not to give him my business. About a month later, I still had not gotten the work done, so I decided to try again and went back to the shop. This time, his attitude was even worse. He literally looked at me and said something along the lines of, "Oh, I thought you were going to take it somewhere cheaper," in a sarcastic tone. Of course, he has the right as a business owner to refuse service, but I think people should know the kind of experience I had here. What bothered me most was the lack of professionalism and the way the pricing was handled. I do not think it is good business practice to give someone a price and then change it shortly after for no legitimate reason. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Keep in mind his daughter was working in the front desk and witnessed the second interaction.

Best car repair shop in Miami!!!!…read more My family has been going here for over a decade to service all manner of European cars On the contrary dealing with Mercedes service is a nightmare and the amount they charge for simple repairs, or in some cases service that should be covered, is absolutely outrageous. Specialty charges a fraction of what Mercedes charges and more importantly: they actually fix the issue! Not to mention your car is usually there a lot less time than at the dealership - usually a couple days at most for just about any issue you might have. Often times I've taken my car there to make sure that the constant Mercedes warnings that appear on the dashboard are in fact, not a product of any serious car issue, but usually something to do with the sensors being out of place or some technical car issue that isn't the catastrophe the warning indicators suggest... In these situations, we are not only normally in and out within the day, but often times they don't even charge if it is a simple fix for them as they have more integrity than any mechanic I have been to! ‍

I had to advocate for myself on the backend the entire time with insurance and make multiple calls to get an update on the status from Specialty, my car was never a priority while my vehicle sat there. Take your vehicle elsewhere. Every car serviced should be test driven and evaluated for drivability. Also, each client should be presented with service paperwork to sign off on They supposedly gave me an oil change and didn't even add windshield wiper fluid. Tell tale sign of lack of inspection or service protocols. Awful customer service and followup. And if my car was needing to be on the chopping block why would you complete a $1000 repair on it without evaluating the entire vehicle's needs first.
