Came to Machi with friends, was a FANTASTIC experience. Fast service, cozy atmosphere, and a very reasonable price for AYCE sushi. Also included hibachi, sides, and any appetizers. Repeat ordering too. Big thank you to the staff. Large selection and everything was delicious. I will 100% be back.

My sushi kick continued and ended tonight. While on the sushi kick, I decided to try a new place. I ordered a spicy kani salad and the salmon lovers roll. In all honesty, it was just okay. I felt the sushi roll did not have a good fish to rice ratio. A little too much rice for my liking. There was nothing special that would make me want to come back and order again. I only did take out. Pick-up was fast and easy. Eh. Solid 3 stars.

I knew of Machi Sushi for quite some time now and I'm honestly so glad that I gave them a try and was mind blown on how delicious my food journey was. Today I thought that it would be a great day to try some sushi. I'm from around the block so I have to have that Machi offers an array of high quality sushi for a budget friendly experience. When you come to a sushi restaurant, you HAVE to get their Kani salad. Now, it did have a LITTLE kick to it but I love my Kani salad with a kick. Perfect amount of heat complemented the crab meat and cucumbers. Delicious.! We also tried their crab rangoons, which came with this honey mustard sauce, worked very well! Surprisingly everything came out FRESH and when restaurants deliver fresh ingredients then your establishment might be doing something extraordinary! Now; For our Sushi rolls we ordered the spicy crab meat roll and Spicy tuna rolls, both so delectable! You cannot beat the quality! Sushi is all about quality and consistency! Perfectly done! Make sure to utilize the ginger and wasabi for digestion because let me tell you, after 20 rolls down the hatchet, you'll need something to push it allll down!. Off the kitchen menu I would HIGHLY recommend getting their shrimp teriyaki WITHOUT the teriyaki sauce, charcoaled GOODNESS! Definitely coming back k for those ! Our Service was great, our waitress made sure our food came out on time and was delicious. Our main attraction was the Hot Girl Roll. If you looks closely the Kani meat on top of the roll looks like a rockstar almost! Hahaha! A little jalapeño, spicy tuna, crab and spiay mayo, perfectly done! If you're a sushi lover and want to experience great quality while being budget friendly, Machi is the place to go.

    Tuna avocado

I ordered a tuna avocado, and this is what the tuna looks like. Come on man. Also one of my rolls they even forgot to put tuna in it altogether now it's just an avocado roll.

My boyfriend and I go to Machi once a month. It is our absolute favorite sushi restaurant in Suffolk County. The prices are affordable and the fish is fresh. It's all you can eat which for around $30 a person you can't beat. You can also get hibachi food which we do often as well. This is the only place we go to and will continue to go to for our date nights. The service is quick and the waitresses are very personable as they remember us for going often. Highly recommend!

Fast service and food was good. Hibachi steak was well done and not really to my liking but the teriyaki beef was medium rare and done perfectly. Will be back.

Visited Machi on Tuesday for an early dinner of ayce sushi. This was not first choice but our fave place closed on Tuesday. Not crowded but comfortable and we sat at a booth. Personnel very nice and took care of our needs without being imposing. They use paper menus for ayce with spaces to order 3 times on the same sheet. First order of rolls, sushi and sashimi was very good. Particularily the Sashami salmon...nice cuts of nice salmon very enjoyable. The other items for sashami; yellow tail- small slices not really tasty, Octopus- not scored and to tough to eat! Sushi was only ok...small cuts of fish and too much rice. 2nd and 3rd orders of sashimi were progressivly smaller cuts and not appetizing. Kitchen orders were also pretty good. Really liked the Tempura Shrimp appy but was disappoinited with the seaweed salad...rubbery, and other items ok.... Hot tea xtra $2 a rip! not particularily good... Dinner price was $27.99.... Alot of food for the cost, but if your interested in fine sushi dining...would go elsewhere!

Lots to choose from on the menu, but we were looking for seafood and some good stir-fried veggies. We got the baby bok choy app, mixed veg app, shrimp dumpling soup, tuna avocado salad, the salmon teriyaki dinner, and the hamachi kama. Good thing my girlfriend eats a lot. Everything came out as they were ready, and I must say, the salmon teriyaki and hamachi kama were cooked to perfection. They had a wonderful seasoned crust, and were very tender inside, cooked just right. We liked getting takeout from here, but now we love dining in as well. We were tempted to get dessert because the fried bananas with ice cream was calling out to me, but we were so full. Maybe next time.

The staff was nice and service was quite fast. First up... Wasabi Shumai = major disappointment. Straight from the freezer and freezer burn included. Quite bland and no wasabi flavor at all. Next up... Garlic Fried Oysters = my husband had one and pushed the plate toward me and said "no thank you". I ate them because I won't waste food. We're used to having fried oysters prepared with a breadcrumb or panko crust, these are done with tempura which would be fine if they were cooked golden but these were not. The undercooked tempura actually slipped right off of the oyster as I took a bite, it left me with 3 naked gooey oysters to be eaten on their own. The baby Bok Choy was Delicious!! Chopped nicely in a decadent garlic sauce. We ordered one avocado roll to see if we'd be ordering entrees. The roll was so small the decorative flower was the main attraction on the plate and the mysterious green gelatinous globs that covered the roll left us wondering what roll did we order. Not sure why we had such a disappointing meal when there are quite a few excellent reviews. We thought going in early on a Saturday before the evening rush, would guarantee us the freshest and most appetizing experience but we were very wrong.

Okay decor wise, it is very plain with 2 four top tables and 2 two top. The dishes are generally served on paper plates with plastic holder for soy sauce. So if you are the type that thrives on eating at a Japanese style theme looking restaurant with fancy plates and silverware, this is not the place for you. However if you are the type that relishes on amazing, fresh fish quality, then you may want to give this place a try. We ordered the salmon skin appetizer for $7 and it has a nice portion of crispy salmon skin over a bed of chopped lettuce and seaweed salad. The salmon skin pieces were nice long strips which is always nice to see, and had that nice freshly made crunch. For entree, she ordered the Naruto roll for $15 and I had the chrashi for $23 which basically is an assortment of sashimi over a bed of rice. The variety of the fishes offered in this entree was amazing and fish tasted very fresh. They have been opened for about 9 months and don't have take out menus made but do have a QR code to scan. I took the liberty of taking pictures of each menu page and posted here. The wait staff is very attentive. Lastly, they do serve refreshments and also bubble tea, but no liquor. I would recommend based off this visit.
