I ordered via DoorDash, so I cannot talk about service. Overall, it was good. I ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce combo meal with an egg roll. It had 6 large shrimp. The fried rice was very good. The lobster sauce was a little bland. It needed some oomph and just more flavor. The egg roll was your basic egg roll. Nothing overly special. I would order again and try something else. read more

I have lived in Holbrook for 30+ years and this location has always been an Asian take out. I was very pleased when Jiang's took the spot. The new owner redecorated and added a sushi bar. The food is always delicious. When I eat in I order rolls one at a time and have a pot of tea to sip. My favorite is the pineapple fried rice which was served in a half pineapple! The restaurant is warm (literally) because they have a vestibule so outside air does not rush in and freeze dining patrons. I like the decor, it is dark toned. Although there are many hard surfaces it is not ear jarring or noisy at all. You are able to eat and have a conversation without having to shout (there are two flat screens for those wishing to watch). Ordering for takeout is simple, pick up is quick and efficient. read more

When in town, I've been a regular customer for years. Jiangs is always fast and reliable. As pan Asian goes, the food was acceptable. As of late I noticed a difference and the food got even better. New chef? For appetizers, the veggie dumplings were hand made and super fresh. Then I had the Thai style curry beef that was quite good with added chunks of avocado and fresh peanuts that made the dish sing. My wife loves the mushroom soup and had the shrimp pad thai, it was also good with large pieces of shrimp and fresh rice noodle. Highly recommend! read more

Always good and consistent food from here. It's hidden in a corner by please don't pass it up. Best place in Holbrook by far!

I placed my order on the phone, went to the restaurant, paid and went home. I opened the vegetable Gyoza and it was burnt. I drove back and showed the girl and she offered to remake the order or give a refund. No apology, no additional compensation for my having to go back and forth again. The point is, seeing that it was horribly prepared the cook should NEVER have put it in the container. i asked the young woman to show it to the cook but she refused because he/she was working alone and had many orders to fill. This is a massive failure on the part of the OWNER, who apparently doesn't care enough to have adequate staff as well as train the staff properly. Food is consistent, delicious, large portions, and fast service. Sushi has been delicious and their signature rolls are tasty and customizable. Chicken with broccoli is very good. I don't love the chicken in the chicken and broccoli as it can be a bit chewy, but I've found this with other chicken and broccolis at other restaurants. I tried this place for the first time tonight - found the menu on line and ordered (take out) a little bit from each part of the menu. I was excited to try this place based on the reviews- so this is what I ordered.... Chinese: wonton soup fried wontons chicken and garlic sauce egg roll Thai: spicy basil chicken thai fried rice with chicken Japanese: spider maki I picked it up in 15 minutes - it was a Sunday night around 7:30p, there was only 1 couple eating in the dining room - place looked clean, staff seemed friendly- I picked up my food and was home within 5 minutes. Fried wontons: totally BURNT and hard as rocks ! Idk if they pre fry and then drop them again- but whatever the case may be, they were left in to fry WAY too long ! Soup & egg roll were good - chicken & garlic was exceptionally good compared to local places. However they forgot the rice (which kinda sucked!) The thai fried rice with chicken was delicious - but I think they screwed up my order again with the spicy basil chicken. Ive had that dish at many different Thai places & although it was tasty and had good heat, i don't think it was what I ordered? As/per the menu there were NO green beans and it was LOADED with eggplant (if this was a substitute for the missing green beans, I wish they would have told me ) ** eggplant is the ONLY veg I DO NOT LIKE ** The spider roll was tasty & fresh- Overall, the food tasted better than what is local around - which will bring me back for another try- they lost a star on forgetting the rice, burning the wontons and screwing up what may (or may not) have been my spicy basil chicken. Vietnamese Spring Rolls - these I wasn't too big a fan of, a little bit too much lettuce for me - I would have preferred if there was a bigger mix of other vegetables and more shrimp in them. Had this place for dinner tonight. We did takeout and ordered the following: -Shrimp Tails - Highly recommend them. They are soo delicious and relatively large in size. -Goi Cuon - Vietnamese appetizer I believe. This was also very good. Only thing - each roll is generally large but there is just 1 piece of shrimp in them. If you're ok with that, then I'd go for it. The peanut dipping sauce is absolutely delicious. - Sushi/Sashimi Deluxe - My husband enjoyed it. It was very fresh and generous in portion. -Spider Roll - Pretty standard but very fresh. A good roll to try. -Beef with Broccoli - delish. Beef was not overcooked at all, like a lot of other places. Very tender. Definitely will be eating at this place again. Horrible, horrible, horrible, did I say that enough? Should I say it again to get my point across? The only thing this place has going for it, is its looks. I stopped by here because I was in the area and, as I have stated on other reviews, I am a big fan of Japanese food. So of course I know, all Japanese food places aren't created equal and the rating of this location wasn't the best but given my choices in close proximity I took a gamble with this one and man did I f* up. So there's a parking lot in front which has ample parking and it's easy to find. The place looks nice, love the decor, simple and clean. I walk in and all I see is the sushi guy at the sushi bar prepping. He looks up and asks if I want to take out or stay and I stated that I will stay. I took a seat at the bar and waited for a bit. Soon afterwards, two employees come from the kitchen. One of the employees was my waitress. She hands me a menu, then sits down at a table nearby and starts messing with her phone as well as eat, I dunno, noodles or something like that. I look over the menu, decided what I wanted and put it down. Then I looked at my waitress who was still eating and messing with her phone. Time passed and I start to get irritated because she hasn't even looked up. Not once. The sushi bar guy looks at me and asks me if I am ready to give my order and I said yes. I told him that I would like to have the shrimp teriyaki. She hears me talking to him and then gets up and asks me if I am ready. Really??!? Nah, I'm just having a conversation with the sushi bar guy about having a teriyaki lunch box for the hell of it. So yeah, I was annoyed. She takes my menu after I confirmed with her what I wanted and goes to the back. She brought my miso soup first which was not flavorful at all and a salad that looked old which I didn't even touch it. I asked for green tea so she brought that out for me as well. The green tea was good, I mean how can you f* that up right? Then she brings me the shrimp tempura lunch box dish. Wow! I was like "I ordered the shrimp teriyaki not the shrimp tempura." The sushi guy immediately apologized and asked if I wanted to switch it out. Being that I was on a rush, I said no, I'll just take it. The waitress then says to me that I ordered the tempura not the teriyaki. I was so pissed but I am not some crazy person to start a scene so I just looked at her and said no I did not, and that I had asked for the teriyaki but seeing that I did not have the time, I would just take this instead. Super pissed at this point. So annoyed with my waitress and her oblivious attitude, maybe if she was more attentive and not concerned over whatever she was eating and texting or whatever on her phone, she might not have messed up my order. So the tempura, no flavor at all. The California rolls were sloppy and was not appealing to my tastebuds either plus they didn't even give me a small dish for the soy sauce. The rice was good...haha...yup, that's all that was good with that lunch box. Nasty food, nasty service. The only employee that did their job was the sushi bar guy but his job is not to attend to me, it was to make sushi...which he isn't good at either by the way. It was the waitresses job to get my order right, to not mess with her phone and eat while actively working. Anyway, I didn't even eat it all, more like barely, because of how horrible it tasted. I also gave a .10 cents tip only because I didn't want to even bother asking for my change. Plus to add more to it, now my stomach isn't feeling all that well. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. read more

I have ordered take out a bunch of times now. They are also pretty quick and never mess up my order. I always get the lunch special three rolls for 12 dollars. Overall the sushi is pretty fresh. I have been meaning to try some of the thai food so that will be next on the list. My only complaint is this last time I ordered I got the weakest salad with my lunch combo. The interior of this restaurant is fancier than it appears outside, which was a surprise. Coming in on a Saturday, this place was EMPTYY during lunch time. This asian fusion joint is nice because you get to choose between your pick of thai, chinese, and japanese. They also have a LUNCH menu. I got the basil chicken with rice which was delish. My bf got the red curry - and let me just tell you... it was spiiiiiiicaaaaaayyyyyy. As in drink one table spoon of the soup, and you will be asking for more water. If you get this, I'd recommend you ask to have less spice in this. We also had a tuna roll and spicy tuna roll - yummy in my opinion but not as good as Kotobuki's of course. read more

I have ordered delivery from Jiangs a few times and am always impressed by the food. The pineapple fried rice is so delicious and packed with veggies, cashews, and plenty of fruit. Stepped into the store today for the first time and was so pleased by the cleanliness and sleek, modern decor. The staff is so friendly and happy to explain the menu. They kindly offered water while we waited for our takeout to be prepared. I'm looking forward to eating in the restaurant now that I know the ambience is just as good as the food. read more

We've been ordering from here for a while and their sushi is fresh and delicious. They've even been able to accommodate us with some orders that are not on the menu. They've always been very friendly and quick with delivery, although I prefer to pick it up. We dined in for the first time and LOVED it. The service was very friendly and the wait being served from the time we ordered was standard. We will definitely be back. I recommend the pineapple fried rice....YUM!!! I I've ordered from here a couple of times food is decent. Staff is a joke! They continuously mess up your order..however this time the last time I'll ever order from them I called in for delivery. It was raining the driver came to my house pulled into the drive way and laid on the horn not once not twice but three times not once did he get out of the car (because he didn't want to get wet) or even give me time to put my dogs away it was extremely rude. I went there for lunch today. Service was horrible waited 20 minutes for my appetizer sushi roll. 45 minutes for my meal which was beef terriyaki and vegetable lomein. I explained to the waitress that we were in a rush. Mind you we were 1 of 2 couples in the restaurant. The sushi chef was too busy slicing cucumbers and the waitress was too busy on her phone. I had to take my food to go to get back to work on time. Mind you I work 6 minutes from here. Beef was chewy and the portion size was small. I will never return to this restaurant. read more
