Alaska roll, Spicy Shrimp Roll, Spicy Kani Roll
Meri L.

My fiancé and I ordered some sushi from here via DoorDash, so I cannot speak of service. I ordered a Snowy Mountain Roll and the Alaskan roll. The Snowy Mountain Roll had salmon, cucumbers and avocado and it was topped with spicy salmon. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of this one. It was good but it wasn't great. I also felt the rice-to-fish ratio was not the best. The Alaska roll was decent. My fiancé had the spicy kani roll and spicy shrimp roll. He said it smelled a little fishy, but it didn't taste "off" or anything like that. One and done for us

All you can eat sushi, sign me up! We came here for a friend's who was visiting out of town birthday. We were able to easily make reservations and because of this we were seated right away. I am glad we did because a Friday night here was hopping. You can tell this is a place where people come to have a good time. It's also a great place for groups. You are given a tablet to order from and after submitting your order the items are brought to your table. And fairly quickly for that matter. I had a coconut martini which was super tasty. We also ordered shumai, pork buns, and an assortment of rolls. All items were super tasty. And all for $32 a person (drinks not included). All around a great deal! For an all you can eat spot, the service was stellar. I would definitely come back here if in the area!

These reviews were either yay or nay so you ccamn decide for yourself. Decided to try this AYCE, Friday dinner and weekends are $2 more than the other days of the week. Lunch is less and kids are even less. Ordering Process: The person asked if you been here or if it's your first time. It's our first time so he took the time to explain the process. Basically drinks are extra. You ordered your items (limit 10 pieces/item for 2 people) then hit the submit button on the pad. We received the first order and order more item. You get the idea until you want stop or if someone orders dessert then you get a check too. Food: The items were either a hit or miss for me. There was an item that was fishy in the first order - Ick. The inari was missing the rice in the middle. Other than these items every other item order afterwards was fine to eat. It wasn't the best nor the worse place for me. Limited items for sashimi. Several roll options, hand roll options, and appetizers as well as dessert fruit or ice cream. It was decent though not memorable except for ordering via the pad. Service: very functional and effective. Everyone drops off food and pick up empty dishes though not there to be friendly. Beverage: additional cost. We ordered tea which is lipton tea ($1.75 each). Parking lot: plenty of parking spots.

For AYCE it is a great deal. You order on the iPad they provided for you so it is great not to have to wait when you are ready for more food. The food is decent and fresh for AYCE. Nice ambiance inside. Staff is great.

AYCE Lunch Options

Ordering is all done via iPad. I'm glad there are some sashimi options even for lunch, especially for low-carbers. I believe lunch lasts until 3:30pm on weekdays ($19.99/pp as of the last time I went, which was a few weeks ago). Limited service, since they mostly just bring the items to the table, all interaction is done through iPad, including requesting the first glasses of water for the table. However, the food was good for the most part. I've been here a few times, and only 1 time the salmon sashimi seemed a little off. All other times, things seemed good and fresh. Some of the best things is their fried items. Very nicely crisped and hot when you get it. One of the best items that I know is a filler and usually a buffet 'no-no' -- French fries. But they are the delicious coated fries. If you know, you know. We also get a bunch of tempura veggies and shrimp. The udon dishes (stir fry or soup) come with way too much vegetables lol. I left pictures of all the available items on the lunch menu, I do think $19.99 is a decent price as long as you can eat decent amounts. If you're the type to be full from 1 roll, maybe you should just order a la carte. The ambiance is pretty nice, bathrooms have been clean every time I've gone.

Place was very nice, but the service was not good. They weren't really friendly and never came back to ask if we were OK and we also never received our appetizer. We came here because we were in the area...sushi was good, but probably wouldn't go back because of service.( in the photo we got shrimp tempura spicy shrimp and spicy crab).

"The tuna sushi tasted very fishy and seemed spoiled. I couldn't eat it. Please check the quality of the tuna being used."

Ask the Community - Umami Sushi & Bar

Is it possible to get rice paper instead seaweed on the sushi or even ask for no seaweed? Thanks!

It is possible to replace the seaweed with soy paper for an added fee of $1.00, but i'm afraid we can't do a sushi roll with no seaweed.

We passed by here few days back and looked up the reviews, and overall positive; so we decided to…read moredine in at the place tonite. Okay decor wise, it is very plain with 2 four top tables and 2 two top. The dishes are generally served on paper plates with plastic holder for soy sauce. So if you are the type that thrives on eating at a Japanese style theme looking restaurant with fancy plates and silverware, this is not the place for you. However if you are the type that relishes on amazing, fresh fish quality, then you may want to give this place a try. We ordered the salmon skin appetizer for $7 and it has a nice portion of crispy salmon skin over a bed of chopped lettuce and seaweed salad. The salmon skin pieces were nice long strips which is always nice to see, and had that nice freshly made crunch. For entree, she ordered the Naruto roll for $15 and I had the chrashi for $23 which basically is an assortment of sashimi over a bed of rice. The variety of the fishes offered in this entree was amazing and fish tasted very fresh. They have been opened for about 9 months and don't have take out menus made but do have a QR code to scan. I took the liberty of taking pictures of each menu page and posted here. The wait staff is very attentive. Lastly, they do serve refreshments and also bubble tea, but no liquor. I would recommend based off this visit.
