I paid over $550 to get the whole top component of my MacBook Air replaced. 2 weeks after my warranty expired I noticed an area on the screen where the pixels have gone out. No help for me. Should have just bought a whole new computer. read more

I had a very positive experience at MacGuyz fixing my MacBook Pro. They took the time to try and replicate the intermittent problem and come up with a solution. He was upfront with the options and the cost and worked his tail off to get it done by the end of the day. In fact, when he called to tell me it was complete, I could hear the pride in his voice. They even replaced the missing footpad that I lost long ago. Solid work, good communicator, good price. read more

If I could give them a 10, I would! Awesome guys- Robb and Devon are just the nicest young guys in town. They're very helpful and professional. I've brought my iPhone 4s there a couple of times. The first time, they replaced the back phone plate in a jiffy and the second time, no charge because the phone had a software problem. They have such an excellent customer service that they told me that if they can't fix or improve the product then they won't charge even though they spent a good amount of time trying to figure out what was wrong with the phone. They stayed open late to help, where knowledgeable and helpful. They were clear about was likely to happen and best/worst case scenarios. Pricing was beyond fair and they gave me plenty of time. My phone wouldn't shut down or restart (kept cycling) and it was either battery or OS glitch. They laid out my options and walked me through it. As predicted, after multiple attempts to reset phone with new battery, it eventually worked (though I did have to take it home, they told me to keep trying and were right). read more

I have a MacBook Air and someone spilled soda on it I called this place because they had such great reviews and they told me it would be $90 to service my mac (Take apart clean and dry) sure no problem. I leave my mac and am called back a bit later and I was told everything checks out great keyboard mouse pad screen speakers only thing that needs to be replaced is the battery to which they said would only be an extra $60. Sure, No problem. Upon pick up they turn on the mac show me that it comes on and charges I pay and take it home excited that they have assured me my laptop is in great working condition ready to get back to work. As soon as I get home I turn on my mac and try to play some music and nothing. I take my laptop back and they say we'll give it a look. Sure no problem. I get called back and then am told that the audio part of the board is no good and would be around 400 to 500 dollars to fix and it would be cheaper to buy another external source of audio. Ok fine no refund offered or apologies for misleading me earlier. I take my computer and go out and buy a $100 Bluetooth speaker. Yesterday while charging my laptop a notice pops up on screen saying service battery and even while my charger is plugged in it is not charging at all. I take my laptop back this morning they say we'll have the tech who worked on it take a look. Sure no problem about 4 hours pass I am called to pick up the tech (Robb Gammill) says I can't get any batteries to charge the board must be fried (careless and rude tone I might add) there's nothing I can do I'll refund you for the battery. I feel I should have been refunded the whole amount they gave me the run around for a week and then just finally gave up and ended up taking me for $90 after the refund of the batter so basically I was charged $90 to be jerked around for a week horrible service I would never recommend anyone come to this establishment. read more

After reading the positive reviews on Yelp, I took my two laptop computers in to have work done with only positive expectations. I had the work completed quickly, took them home only to discover that one of the computers was rendered completely inoperable (worse condition than when I took it in). When I came back to the shop hoping they would explain what went wrong, the owners became defensive and failed to apologize for the poor workmanship. They told me "I don't think that our business success depends on you". I responded that if I did such poor work at my job and such unprofessional behavior that I would be fired. I also pointed out that at a restaurant they would comp the meal for horrible food and service. They told me I had a "quite a personality" in a hostile tone. I requested a refund, which they did give me "like it never even happened". Well, I am very disappointed and it did happen.They did fix the computer correctly the second time, but I will never go back. It's shocking that this occurred and I have never been treated so poorly by a business. read more

Established in 2013.

After ten years working for an Apple affiliated store in Orange county doing Mac computer repair, yet living in the Inland Empire we recognized a need for a Mac computer, iPhone, and iPad repair service in San Bernardino county. So in 2013 the decision was made to open MacGuyz. We originally started as a home occupied business. However, we have now moved into a brick and mortar store on Redlands Blvd, between 8th and 9th street.

My 7 year old MacBook Pro stopped working. I found MacGuyz online and liked the reviews I read. I called to ask a few questions and was greeted so warmly on the phone by Rob that I took my computer there immediately. They took my information and promised to call with a diagnosis. I was called by Rob within an hour. My hard drive was completely dead. The explanation of service was very clearly stated. I'm a senior with limited tech knowledge so it was nice to be treated respectfully and given understandable information. My laptop was repaired by the end of the day; new hard drive installed, OS system updated, add ware cleaned up, and data from external hard drive downloaded. I was able to pick it up the next morning. The price was extremely reasonable for all the service provided. I highly recommend MacGuyz for anyone who owns Apple products. It is so nice to have a reliable Apple repair service so close to home! Thank you MacGuyz! read more

Absolutely disappointed with them ! Out of the 90 days warranty even tho I excepted the phone back with out screws that they said would protect my husbands screen , which it did not ! On top of that I have brought many phones for fixing as well as many friends ! Many ! I had to leave my husbands phone to be fixed because I have no choice to drive to inland center mall ! I will pay the 99 dollars again for the same screen that has no cracks in it . I even asked can we compromise I believe in paying even a flipping 20 dollar discount would have at least gave me faith in them ! Not to mention the 51 one dollars for the battery replacement ! So they lost me as a customer after I pick up his phone also will never recommended this place to anyone ! read more

This shop is a life saver. Shattered the screen on my iPhone 7. My flight to NYC leaves in less than 12 hours. Apple store had an appointment for repair in 2 days, you have to create an account on line at Best Buy to make an appointment for repair. I didn't have that kind of time. The MacGuyz were reachable by phone and said they can help me as soon as I got there. My phone was fixed and ready for travel within an hour. They are professional, knowledgeable, quick and courteous. I highly recommend this store. I took my iPhone here after it accidentally went in the pool with me. It was not responding at all and I thought I had lost all of my contacts, pictures, etc. However, MacGuyz got my phone up and running in an hour! Of course some of the phone's features do not work, but I expected that. I was just so glad they were able to fix my phone so that I could get my information off of it. I took my 2009 iMac to MacGuyz frustrated because it was running slow and i was at wits end. They evaluated the computer free and told me what was wrong. I gladly paid for the repair and took it home only a couple days later. My wife used it for the first time yesterday and it felt like a new computer! Due do unexpected circumstances, the back camera and flash were not working. Apple was planning on charging me $300+ for repairs, I found MacGuyz on yelp and was extremely happy with my visit. I came a couple hours before closing and was assisted by Devin; he had a positive personality, and worked very fast while tending to other costumers. These guys know what they're doing. I had spent three days and about six hours hours trying to get verizon tech support to fix my mac mail problem.......after the third day I gave up on verizon....luckily I stumbled onto Robb at Macguyz....he spent a half hour with me over the phone and fixed the problem....it was not an easy fix and verizon techs could never have fixed this problem....if you have any problems with your apple computer call Robb read more
