Our car purchase adviser was Johnny Yan, who is CEO/founder of the company and met us at the Ford dealer. There isn't an easier way to buy a car than through Auto Dealer Connect. Our experience with Johnny was amazing! He was a pleasure to work with and made us feel like family. They let me take my time with the process, including multiple test drives and even allowing my wife to come back the next day to drive the vehicle herself. Most importantly, they had no issue with me taking the 4Runner to my own trusted mechanic for a full inspection before making a decision. During the test drive, I noticed what felt like a slight pull in the steering. Rather than brushing it off, they took the vehicle in for an alignment to make sure everything was right. That level of customer service and attention to detail really stood out. The vehicle was very fairly priced, there was never any pressure, and I appreciated that they didn't try to up sell me on extended warranties, GAP insurance, or other add-ons. The process was straightforward, honest, and stress free. What impressed me the most was their willingness to work with my credit union. They even allowed me to take delivery of the vehicle in time for my son's birthday before they had actually received the check from the bank. In today's market, it's refreshing to find a dealership that operates with integrity and genuinely cares about its customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality vehicle and a hassle free buying experience! A++++

I had a really good experience and peace of mind working with Gio, which seems to be harder to find…read moretrust in buying a used car these days. After driving an hour and 20 minutes from Oceanside, I was a little nervous on what we are going to get that I have experienced with cheesy used car dealers in the past who are high-pressure pitch, or try to be charged for these silly "mandatory" dealer add-ons (such as Lo Jack GPS tracking and /or protection film). Or the dreaded "oh so sorry, we just sold that one, but we have this ugly more expensive car over here!"...but nothing like that here. Gio was very knowledgeable and I liked his consultative sales style was also professional. He explained that they mainly buy cars "Green Light" from auctions: the auctioneer guarantees the purchaser (Hanna Autotomize in this case) that the car is mechanically sound regarding the engine, transmission, and drive train. The auctioneer that sell these Green Light cars offers arbitration to the dealer too (returning the car or getting repair costs) if hidden, major defects are found within a 7-14 days. Gio's dealer do charge a few hundred dollars (up to $995 I think?) depending on the car price) that covered the cost to replace anything after their own internal mechanic reviews the car, so that there are no surprises later that would have to be relaced by me anyways. They provided a CarFax for free and an option for a paid extended warranty for peace of mind too. I am really lucky to find this boutique family owned dealer and I highly recommend Hanna.

***BUYER BEWARE - DON'T DO BUISNESS WITH THESE SCAMMERS***…read more***ASK FOR AN OTD ITEMIZATION AT YOUR OWN RISK*** First off, the hidden comments, the ones not recommeneded by Yelp, says it all about how shady this dealership truly is & here I was about to give them my buisness! Digging deeper, I found how shady they really are especially sticking customers with the hidden "Hanna Advantage" which is just what scammers do! Glad I caught the lies & saved myself the headache of getting scammed again! Avoid & go elsewhere! These are crooks that don't give a fk about you! Late Thurday night, I messaged Hanna Automotive regarding this beautiful Kodiak brown 2013 Ford Escape Titanium & since the listing only had 3 pictures, I requested a few more along with the OTD Itemization pricing to see what we're working with. That's how you protect yourself! Friday 9/4/26 Jolie from Hanna Automotive texted me so I texted back regarding the OTD & got no response after that! I called the dealership & Gio Hanna answered the phone which I asked him about sending me the OTD itemization pricing for the vehicle! Gio told me to text him my address & email so he can send that OTD to me right away! I waited & got no response back so I texted him & his response was, "his finance team left for the day, but he'll get me the OTD first thing when they open up!" Well, yesterday,Saturday 9/6/26, his dealership opens up @ 10am & I never got the OTD! I waited all fking day for this bastrd to send me it or at least contact me, but I got no response! I texted Gio in the afternoon which of course, no response! That evening before closing time, I called Gio & he claims that the OTD was sent to my email, which he never did, but he'll go ahead & send it to me right away! Waited 5 minutes, got nothing so I called Gio back right away & this time this mfkr was in his car driving!! Then lies & says there was a typo in my email! There was no typo since my email address was clear in the spelling! In conclusion, Gio will answer the phone, but not your text message! They won't follow up with you because they want you to rush & be gulllable! These small used car dealerships like Hanna Automotive, HATE people asking for an OTD so they give you the run around & lie! An OTD exposes them to shady shit & this dealership along with many other shady small used car dealerships, love to pull the wool over your eyes! I been burned before by Autoboyz, so what happened to me taught me a lesson to protect myself & ask for the OTD before anything else! I'm being smart about my purchase! It's always the shady ones, Hanna Automotive, that aren't truthful, they're always sticking the customer with hidden shit & Gio & his dealership is one of them! They do everything to avoid sending you an OTD when you request it! THANK YOU to Gio, Jolie, Hanna Automotive, for showing your true colors! BTW, yesterday, while dealing with this bullshit silence, I found a local used car dealership, family owned, they sent me an OTD right away & then contacted me asking how the numbers look & would I like to come down to test drive! I did, got approved & drove off in my lower mileage 2016 Ford Escape Titanium with the 2.0L! They treated me like family & that was awesome! They never screwed around with me, they took care of me! That's how it should be done! So Gio Hanna, FK YOU, FK YOUR EXCUSES & LIES, & FK YOUR DEALERSHIP! YOUR JUST THE TYPICAL SCAMMER LOOKING FOR A QUICK BUCK! THE OTD IS YOUR CRYPTONITE! In the end I won & he lost & I hope one day, enough people will catch on & he'll run off like the coward he is because AUTOBOYZ did just that!

I had an interesting experience with Cars of LA as someone selling a car, not buying a car…read more I found them through my research online, I was looking for a business similar to Carvana where they make it seamless to sell a car. As I stumbled upon their website, I noticed that everything looked great. The website was well done with its branding, and the online form submittal with the VIN# match was spot on. Also, the overall look and feel of the site were good, which gave me some comfort. https://www.carsofla.com/ - in fact, they offered me $13,000 via text and wanted me to set up an appointment for an inspection. It was clear on their website that a representative will come over with all the necessary documents. (See attached screenshot from their website). This was false. From my multiple communication via text and also submitting another request from their form online, it was clear that they had no representative and that I had to drive my car into their shop for an inspection. That didn't bother me that much; it was only a 1/2 hour drive. When I arrived, I was a bit surprised. There was no shop. It was an office building, and there were no signs that said "Cars of LA". I entered through a door with a sign that said "....Trading Co." I can't quite remember exactly what it said. When I entered, the office was empty. It's a fairly large office space with about 3-4 small offices and a lobby area. Eventually, a gentleman showed up for my appointment, and we walked out to my car for an inspection. He first pulled out a device that I wasn't familiar with. Later, I found that it was a paint thickness gauge. He checked the paint throughout my car to make sure the reading on the device was under "7." He eventually found some parts of the exterior body that read over 7. He said my car was damaged and had been worked on before, which was not true. My car was never damaged or repainted for any reason. We went back into his office, and he offered me $9000 for the car. What? How did it go from $13,000 to $9000? It was so weird. And the whole paint thickness device was super weird, too. I don't know much about "purchasing used cars for resale business," so please forgive me if this is a standard protocol, but I felt a bit manipulated by this procedure. Anyway, I am not saying don't do business with them; I am just posting this to give the readers a more realistic expectation of selling their car through Cars of LA. Hope this is helpful.
