Saw their ad online with a good deal, and exterior looking cars. When I arrived there I asked the owner if there was anything wrong with the car I wanted which was a Porsche boxster. He said there was nothing wrong at all, and it was pretty assuring at first. When I brought the car to a real Porsche dealership to inspect it, they said that there were so many oil leaks everywhere and the cost of reparing it was over 10k. Holy crap, I mean how can these dealers sell cars that aren't even fixed in the inside. All they do is clean the car up and wax it so the exterior looks tempting to buy, but in reality the engine is all messed up. I called them to ask if they are going to fix the leaks inside and they said they could not since it is too much money. Bottom line, make sure you inspect the car before buying or else you will end up paying much more than the price tag. I wonder which idiot would come and buy a used porsche at 11k and an additional 10k for repairing. Unbelievable. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!! I bought a 2005 Ford Explorer from this joke of a dealership in February. Before I bought it we popped the hood checked everything out and it was low on water. The guy, who doesn't even work there anymore, said that's weird our mechanic usually checks that. Well I'm sure they probably did check it because a week after I bought my lemon I was running hot and out of water. The car has had a problem with it running hot since I have had it. Then, if that wasn't bad enough, my service engine light comes on a couple weeks after I buy my lemon. The dealership says it was the spark plugs so they change them and tell me how great the car runs now. Really? It ran the same but my light was off. But not for long. The other day I was sitting in a parking lot and my lemon starts shaking from it idling so hard and my service engine light starts flashing at me so I call my mechanic. He says it sounds like one of the spark plugs are failing. Turns out it wasn't a spark plug or the coil. It's a blown head gasket. The last time I took my car in to them to have them try and figure out what was wrong with it Marty said he had his guy take it up the street to a mechanic and they did a blue dye test on it. If he had really done that then they would have found the problem. So I guess he just had the guy drive it around for awhile to make it seem like they took it somewhere to get it looked at. When I call Marty, the douche bag owner of the joke of a dealership who sold me my lemon, he tells me it's my fault and I should have kept up maintenance on my car. Then after I go off on him for having the nerve to tell me that it's my fault he sold me a lemon he calls me trash, dirty and a skank. And the worst part of all of this is that I wasn't going to even give that place a chance because of the bad reviews I saw but a coworker of mine had a friend, the guy who sold me the car who no longer works there, that worked there so I thought I would be taken care of. So again AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you do buy a car there just know that they are not licensed to do any repairs there and are not supposed to touch your car after they sell it to you. read more

My credit ain't so hot but instead of raking me over the coals, Marty wrote me up a good deal in a very nice car. He actually worked on my behalf to get me the right car and helped convince the lender to take the deal. Plus he was very fast and efficient with the paperwork. Car is in the shop again. New mechanic said there was still evidence of a front end collision. I thought all of this was fixed. Remember I spent $90 for an inspection at All Tune and Lube that said everything looked fine. I had to replace the engine mounts as they were cracked. This new mechanic even said things were zip tied together in the engine compartment! Again the car looked perfect from the outside and still does, but the repairs continue. I don't know who is writing the positive reviews, but I would pay more attention to the negative ones. Find another dealer at all costs. read more

McDonald's has just ok food but the staff is always courteous. So, I go often. *At MacAuto, you get both courtesy and a good product. In my case, they had just the car I wanted and in excellent to new condition for a 2008. After purchasing approximately 41 used and new cars in my life, I'm familiar with the worst of car selling practices , and, to a lesser degree, the better of the experience. Tigran was my sales person: he is direct, smart, professional, with attention to customer service. And he listens and tries to accommodate the buyer's needs. As the adage goes, " the personnel reflects the management" was clear after meeting Tigran's employer. Same exemplary professionalism. Finally, their offices have clean restrooms, spacious , open waiting area with comfortable chairs, and water, coffee, etc available while you wait. It was a good deal, until I got home and noticed the oil leaking from the engine, and the drivers side window did not roll down. LONG STORY SHORT DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!! I was just informed that the car I purchased, has codes that were erased. Don't know by who huh huh, but now it's gonna cost me 1400.00, that the warranty I did not have to purcahse according to the finance company is not going to cover. If you don't want to read my whole review just take one thing from this, DON"T BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS THEY ARE SHADY! Mac auto is the shadiest business I have ever dealt with. After purchasing my car from them within a couple days the belt began to squeak. Since it was a used car some things like that are expected thats why I splurged for the warranty. That was a mistake. They said, "Oh don't worry about that the belt is new and its just getting broken in." Actually no, there is nothing normal about a squeaking belt. Long story short the sleezy owners refused to acknowledge a problem that was clearly covered in the warranty. Keep in mind I'm being calm and rational through this whole ordeal. I was not trying to create enemies. A day later the check engine light comes on, so I call them and they say oh well get a diagnostic. So they have a shop and a mechanic and can't perform diagnostics? Bullshit. So I play along and get the diagnostic. It gave me a code for the catalytic converter. I call mac auto back and clearly told them the problem and made an appointment with the mechanic. So I come in and they say they are taking my car to get a quote, and their mechanic isn't even going to do anything with it. Then the say oh emissions aren't covered under warranty. That should actually be illegal in the state of California. Don't buy from these thieves they are the typical sleazy asshole car dealers. read more
