was looking for a very specific car and model, and Car Gurus pointed me to ZRV Auto in Brea, CA. I…read moredrove up from San Diego based on the descriptive info and pix posted by owner Zora on the site. Zora has a great operation. His establishment is located in a business park, and he keeps his cars inside his warehouse. He maintains them in pristine condition. I learned that ZRV is family-owned with Zora's dad being the chief mechanic. His mom works there, too. Zora was very helpful and patient in answering my questions; he has outstanding customer service/sales skills and he us very knowledgeable about his ( large) inventory. But the true test of Zora's customer service came a few hours later when this damsel in distress experienced a small glitch with the car. Of course it was after-hours so the dealership was closed but Zora arranged for his mechanic to meet me. I felt a little foolish because the glitch was so minor but Zora's mechanic ( his very agreeable Dad) solved the problem in minutes. I highly recommend ZRV Auto to anyone looking for a great deal on a used car, and a very pleasant buying experience.

Do NOT buy a car from ZORA unless you are prepared to purchase a LEMON!…read more On September 20th I purchased a 2008 Volkswagen Beetle with low miles for my teenage daughter. She was soooo excited but no CHILD should go through what she has in her first car buying experience. The car was dead when we were going to purchase it so he replaced the battery right away. Two weeks after getting it home it died again. I reached out to see if ZORA from ZRV would help with the alternator because AAA said it was bad. Zora said he would but never came through. Two weeks after getting the alternator replaced it DIED AGAN! I reached out to Zora to just help get the car running for my 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER and he was filled with empty promises! It's DECEMBER and the car has been with us for less than 90 days and ZORA hasn't even offered to fix it! He will sell you a lemon and it will be YOUR PROBLEM after you drive off! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HIM. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ZRV UNLESS YOU YOURSELF CAN FIX HIS CRAPPY CARS! He sold us a car that has some sort of electrical problem .. a PARASITIC DRAW... and all we asked is that he help us FIX IT! He won't even do that! Horrible person! This is almost child abuse how my teenager has suffered and cried over her car being TRASH

I had been searching for a used car for over a month and had visited about 20 different dealerships to test drive and meet with dealers. Some of them were pretty shady and some were very pushy. I was not set on a certain make/model of car, though I had a few in mind. I was mostly concerned with getting a low milage vehicle with good gas milage at a good price. Eventually, I ran across a great deal on a 2010 Honda Fit Sport at Mac Auto and met with their dealer, Tigran. He was straight forward and honest about any issues he knew regarding the car and agreed to fix a few minor scratches we noticed while test driving. He also let us know they had a 30 day warranty if we noticed anything else the initial weeks owning the car. About a week into owning the car I realized the horn wasn't working, so I took it to Mac Auto and they determined it required a clock-spring replacement. Although it took a little time for the part to come in, they repaired it without any hassle for free. Both times I went in for the car to be repaired, Tigran was nice enough to chauffeur me out around town so I wasn't stuck just waiting at the dealership. I see some of these other reviews and I get the sense that some people don't know what to expect from a used car dealership. Most of these vehicles are bought at auctions. The dealerships do their best to diagnose any problems with them, but things will arise if you are driving these cars on a daily permanent basis that someone who test drives them for problems initially may not notice. The difference between a bad/good dealership is that a good one will repair those types of problems when they come up, and that is certainly what Mac Auto did for us. We did not get the sleazy used car-salesman pitch at any time while we were there, and we were not pressured or bullied into buy anything (none of the, "what can I do to get you to buy this car right now, today" I dealt with at several of the other places I visited earlier that month). After experiencing about 20 other places, I really have to say Mac Auto and Tigran treated us better than any of the other places and its why they got our sale.
