Everyone at this site in la Habra is willing to help you and I recommend . Very kind to first buyers

In short, my wife and I had a great experience here and the dealership's follow-up has been excellent. I had been searching for a used car for over a month and had visited about 20 different dealerships to test drive and meet with dealers. Some of them were pretty shady and some were very pushy. I was not set on a certain make/model of car, though I had a few in mind. I was mostly concerned with getting a low milage vehicle with good gas milage at a good price. Eventually, I ran across a great deal on a 2010 Honda Fit Sport at Mac Auto and met with their dealer, Tigran. He was straight forward and honest about any issues he knew regarding the car and agreed to fix a few minor scratches we noticed while test driving. He also let us know they had a 30 day warranty if we noticed anything else the initial weeks owning the car. About a week into owning the car I realized the horn wasn't working, so I took it to Mac Auto and they determined it required a clock-spring replacement. Although it took a little time for the part to come in, they repaired it without any hassle for free. Both times I went in for the car to be repaired, Tigran was nice enough to chauffeur me out around town so I wasn't stuck just waiting at the dealership. I see some of these other reviews and I get the sense that some people don't know what to expect from a used car dealership. Most of these vehicles are bought at auctions. The dealerships do their best to diagnose any problems with them, but things will arise if you are driving these cars on a daily permanent basis that someone who test drives them for problems initially may not notice. The difference between a bad/good dealership is that a good one will repair those types of problems when they come up, and that is certainly what Mac Auto did for us. We did not get the sleazy used car-salesman pitch at any time while we were there, and we were not pressured or bullied into buy anything (none of the, "what can I do to get you to buy this car right now, today" I dealt with at several of the other places I visited earlier that month). After experiencing about 20 other places, I really have to say Mac Auto and Tigran treated us better than any of the other places and its why they got our sale. read more

I do not know if I would ever imagine posting a positive about a used car dealer, let alone 5 stars. These guys broke the mold... Amazing full service operation from sales, financing to repairs. This is always my first call for anything automotive, but not always my last because if they don't feel like they are the best option to solve my problem, they refer me to someone who is. Impressive on all fronts. read more

This is a terrible place to purchase a car. DO NO TRUST THIS PLACE. My truck had a check engine light immediately after purchase and I brought it back for check up and they did nothing to solve the problem. In fact they reseted the engine light and said there was nothing wrong with it. Liars and scammers. read more

What a blessing to have found this dealership and our car. Unlike any other car buying experience we ever had - they were knowledgeable, friendly, honest and helpful. This felt like a friend or family's business. I will check here for any future purchase and HIGHLY recommend Mac Auto. Customer service - above and beyond! read more

I never really did trust small dealerships but i was wrong for taking so long to check out this Truck that I've been eyeing here for a while. I shopped for a truck for nearly 35 days and i finally decided to stop at this dealership. All the other places have all these "add on's" to their advertised prices. This place is straight up whats on the sticker plus of course your basic tax and license only. WOW. i kicked myself for not coming here first. NO pressure, no gimmicks. No hidden fees. Great people. Go check them out. You will NOT be disappointed. Cheers read more

This place was great! Our son was looking for a Jetta and happened to find just the right one here. They made it super easy, no hidden fees or charges. Most used car dealerships tack on unnecessary fees for imaginary add ons. Marty and his team were awesome. Easiest car buying experience ever. read more

MacAuto - 2015 Volkswagen Jetta - Used Car Dealers Near Me - La Habra, California

I bought a car from Marty and his guys. He told me that, as my friend, he would be sure to give me the best deal. I was very niave and didn't know anything about cars. When I bought the car it had a few "small" problems. He said they would all be fixed within a couple days. Since I worked in the same lot as them I thought it was no big deal. The smaller problems were taken care of. However, there was one problem that he could not figure out and said that I would just have to live with it. Which I did. That minor problem, that he said wasn't a problem at all just some weird "no big deal noise" ended up being major. Then i looked on line and found out the car that I just spent $10,000 actually only goes for $1500-$2000!!!! I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in this. I have written up to a lesson learned. read more

The guys at MacAuto are the best! I had just had the crappiest experience at Santa Margarita Toyota in Rancho Santa Margarita. I mean, every negative thing you've ever heard about car dealerships happened to be my experience. Side note: my father was a car salesman for most of my life and so I had grown up practically using car dealerships as my personal playground so I did not go into this with a negative mindset. But this review is not about them. It's about the wonderful breath of fresh air experience I had with the guys at MacAuto! I found them through either CarGurus or AutoTrader, I can't remember now because I looked at so many cars before I found this one. I had gone to 4 different dealerships and test drove 5 cars before finding MacAuto. Dave was extremely helpful in answering my questions over the phone before I went there. My boyfriend and I went to La Habra to take a look at the beautiful blue prius they happened to have on their lot. It was in amazing condition (except for a little scratch on the paint and a missing part in the trunk which they totally were happy to repair and replace for me at no charge). Dave was with us on the test drive and he was really pleasant to chat with. Then he handed us off to the general manager, Andrew. He was really chill and I didn't feel sales pressure from him or anyone else there. He was extremely helpful and was able to get the car to the price that I was happy with. No hassle at all. A complete turn around from my previous experiences! I began the process of buying my vehicle and Marty the finance manager was also really cool helpful. I was able to pick up my car a week later after my financing wen through! I absolutely love it and I am so appreciative of MacAuto for helping to make what is usually a stressful experience extremely stress free!! THANK YOU! read more

If they have what you want I recommend them. The guys are super cool. No pressure sales tactics. They picked me up at the train station and they filled me up with gas when I was done. I will check their inventory in the future if anyone I know is looking for a car. read more

I'm from the Bay Area, but my family down here referred us to Mac Auto Sales a few years back and since then we have only ever purchased cars from here. I purchased my first vehicle in March (as in, the first one that was mine specifically and not under my father's name!) The folks who helped us were super friendly, chill, and most of all - honest. No aggressive sales tactics whatsoever, and it really felt like we were being taken care of by family friends. I'm pretty sure I won't be buying another car for a while but when that day comes I'll definitely hit them up. read more

Okay, what is the problem!? I have been to a lot of car dealerships in my life, but this is the first time I ever went to a lot that was only used cars. There was none of the runaround, none if the game-playing. The owner, Marty, showed me the car I saw on his website, I took it for a test drive, I liked , he checked out my car and gave me a trade-in amount I could live with, then he handed me off to his son for the financial part. We did all the paperwork, he ran my credit (which is excellent), we added on a couple of extras, and I am about to drive out of here in the car I wanted for a price I like! I recognize that it is possible to have problems, and I don't know how well the car will hold up, but this experience was SO much better than any other car buying experience I have ever had. I recommend them highly. read more

First and foremost Marty Jr honestly blessed my life with a second car. When all other car lots wouldn't even bat an eye to help marty made it seem effortless and he got me into a great car. If anyone out there is looking to get a car I'd highly recommended calling Marty Jr and Mac auto. Thank you so very much for all your hard work and caring for the people who actually need it. read more

Marty @ Mac Auto was Awesome. He got me into a great car at an amazing price when I had trouble getting a vehicle. Best part about them is they stand behind there cars 100%. Marty gave me 30 days to notice anything I wasn't happy about and then had me bring the car down to get them all handled no questions asked. That's A Man of his Word and who doesn't want to buy a car from a man like that. Thank you Mac Auto & Marty read more

In September, my wife and I found the car we were looking for here. Within 2 hours of making the appointment to see it. We were signing paperwork. Marty made it so easy to purchase our vehicle. No gimmicks or frills, and best of all, no sales pressure whatsoever. We found Marty's straight forward and honest tactic very appealing in the car buying environment. Let's not forget his staff, very professional, helpful, courteous and friendly. Thanks again Marty (doppelgänger to Justin Turner, lol) and your awesome staff. We are loving our 2011 is250. read more

By far the best customer service I've ever had. Especially with buying a car for the first time definitely recommend coming here. Marty has and had been very helpful with helping me out and getting the car I really needed. You would think that many car sales men are there to take your money, but not him. He deeply cares about his customers and does his very best to get you a car that suits your needs and everyday lifestyle. Thank you for everything and for the fill up on gas! read more

Fuck this place. Bought a used 2004 Jetta and it is nothing but shit! First had to take into them literally like three days after I bought it so they could "fix" paper work for a smog test or whatever and then fixed a probably for me that I had bought with car. NOT TOO LONG AFTER THAT my reverse stopped working.... Yeah I haven't had reverse on my car since March/April when I get it in Feb!! Now it needs a new battery and transmission, power steering! So much shit! It all cost more then what the car is even worth! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!! read more

Marty made the experience smooth and easy. This father and son business gave and provided the experience of family like personal care, felt as if this auto dealer valued their reputation and their customers. My husband and I are very happy with our Honda HR-V read more

I bought a infinity Q45 from these guys. The car looked great outside, was clean, interior was in good shape for the age. I noticed the keyless entry was not working and asked if they would fix it before i purchased the car. Richard said yes no problem. I returned the next day to make the deal, I asked Ari if the fixes had been made he said yes the car is in great working order. EVERYTHING WORKS. Ok great I purchased the car drove it home. A hour later I go to get in the car and go, and it is dead. I mean dead. No power to anything. I call mac crooks and ask what is going on and they basically said you are on your own, and hung up. I had to tow the car to Cerritos Infinity and have the car reset because mac crooks never fixed the keyless. they did something to by pass the system. (per Infinity ). It ended up costing me 2000.00 more in less than a weeks time. So the moral of my story is DO NOT BUY from these guys!!! They are LIARS,CROOKS,and ARROGANT PRICKS. ARI espeacially. !!!!Buyers beware!!!! Spend a couple extra dollars and go to a real dealership. This mom and pop shop proves all the horror stories true.!!!! Buyer beware!!!!! I wish I could rate with NEGATIVE STARS. - 20 for these guys read more

WARNING WARNING WARNING stay away from these guys I traded in a nice Ford Ranger and got a Mercedes So far I have put $10,000 in repairs. The check engine light came on 3 days after I purchased and they would not do anything to help me. They sell Mercedes, BMW, Audi and other high end cars that have not been repaired properly for resale. Do not be fooled anybody can wash and wax a car to make it look good. My experience was so bad I can confidently say what ever good reviews this place has probably came from employees You have been WARNED!!!! read more

Bought car for daughter and they were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely buy from here again. Thanks guys!!

I found a truck on CarGurus that I wanted, which was being sold by Mac Auto. I spoke first with Dave who followed up swiftly with me via email. He was completely helpful and low-key, rather than pushing the hard sell. I then worked with Marty Jr, who was more than gracious, helpful, friendly, full of knowledge. Unfortunately, someone was ahead of me in line to see the truck and actually flew from San Francisco to purchase it, so I missed out on the truck. To have a dealership honor that kind of loyalty to customers though, rather than just selling it out from under someone, is in itself unusual to find. Marty assured me that if the gentleman didn't purchase it that day, I was next in line for a shot at it. The most impressive thing was that after having lost out on the truck I wanted from them, Marty continued to help me by allowing me to consult him on trucks I was looking at elsewhere. Who does that these days?? Not many, certainly. He gave me invaluable information that helped steer me away from what could have potentially disastrous results for me. He guided me with the specifics of what I should pay attention to and I eventually found my ideal truck, much thanks to Marty's knowledge and willingness to help me, particularly when he had nothing to gain. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for honest, straightforward dealings. If I look for another car, they are the first people I will call. read more

Everyone at MacAuto is so friendly and helpful! No one makes you feel pressured to buy a car. For some months, I was on the lookout for a car and here at MacAuto it was relatively easy to say "Yes, this is the one." Great experience and service overall! This company is in a league if their own. . TOP NOTCH! Stop by and see the best car salesman around, his name is Tigran or "Tig" for short, and he'll make sure you're taken care of. . GUARANTEED! They don't try to get over on you like most, with them it's more personal. Don't take my word for it though, stop by and check them out for yourself because afterall what have you got to lose? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! But you've got everything to GAIN, especially a great deal with great people. . By the way i recently purchased a car from them, and it was really the BEST deal i could find ANYWHERE, and trust me i looked Everywhere too. . And I've been to a lot of dealers and and even have friends that are ex car salesman, so i know when I'm getting worked, but this dealership is nothing like them though, it was more like dealing with Friends! read more

My family and I have done business with Mac Auto Sales for well over a decade and purchased many cars there. Mac used to be located on La habra Blvd; the current location is on Imperial and has the same great management. Marty, the owner, is fair and honest in his dealings and has always taken care of me and my family and that is why we refer many friends there. Mac Auto only has nice and clean vehicles. To my understanding, the owner still buys all of his inventory himself so he can maintain quality. If you ever run into an issue, Mac Auto will make it right because they are a local business and part of the community--that is why these guys are successful. Although I have never used financing there to purchase a car, my friends have and are happy with their rates. I also have a friend who was turned down somewhere else and Mac was able to work with him and get him a nice car. Thanks Mac Auto for always taking care of me and my friends! read more

Went here looking to buy a car. I was kindly greeted by Marty, the owner. I didn't end up buying a car, but I had a great experience. I will be back. His son, Marty, was also very nice. Another guy, I think his name was Anthony, was very helpful. They gave me good amount of attention, but I never felt like they were working on commission to get me to buy a car. Highly recommend! read more

I honestly can say that Tigran was very personable and professional he made me feel like I was buying a car from a family Member! I just bought a 2015 Nissan versa from mac auto and Marty and Tig were awesome. I will definitely buy my next car from them!

My boyfriend bought a truck from Mac Auto. He paid for the tags and many weeks later was told he had to pay more than double the initial cost which was the ENTIRE YEAR of registration when he only had the truck for 4 months before having to renew and pay again! They said NOTHING about this at the dealership when purchasing the truck and refused to give my boyfriend the DMV tags until he paid up. Bad karma, Mac Auto. read more

Saw their ad online with a good deal, and exterior looking cars. When I arrived there I asked the owner if there was anything wrong with the car I wanted which was a Porsche boxster. He said there was nothing wrong at all, and it was pretty assuring at first. When I brought the car to a real Porsche dealership to inspect it, they said that there were so many oil leaks everywhere and the cost of reparing it was over 10k. Holy crap, I mean how can these dealers sell cars that aren't even fixed in the inside. All they do is clean the car up and wax it so the exterior looks tempting to buy, but in reality the engine is all messed up. I called them to ask if they are going to fix the leaks inside and they said they could not since it is too much money. Bottom line, make sure you inspect the car before buying or else you will end up paying much more than the price tag. I wonder which idiot would come and buy a used porsche at 11k and an additional 10k for repairing. Unbelievable. read more
