The most beautiful and delicious macarons ever!!!! They also serve nice coffee and teas and have a nice seating area to sit and enjoy. The macarons make great gifts too! The owner is very kind and treats customers very well. It's a great place! I highly recommend!

This cute French bistro reminds me of the bistros I enjoyed in Paris…read more The Ambiance: Cute "very French" styled bistro with limited table availability with 7 tables two high tops and 8 bar stools inside and 3 outside tables. If you want to know how the French dine, this is the place for you. The Food: This where the bistro shines. I chose the Les OCufs Gratings which featured baked eggs with soft center, a touch of cream & melted Swiss cheese. I added the ham and spinach optional. The dish was accompanied with a toasted baguette. It was a fantastic dining experience!! In addition to my entree I also tried their raisin roll which was a wonderfully light and crispy pastry that represents French pastries beautifully. One negative, I ordered a black tea (only offered Earl Grey) and steamed milk (got hot milk). You would think a place that offers cappuccinos and lattes could be able to provide steamed milk but, obviously not here. However, I must admit, although I don't like Earl Grey tea, this version was actually ok. Service: Where the ambiance and food scores 5 stars, the service drags it all down to a 3 star experience. My server deserted me after I placed my order. Asking for more hot water (for my tea), another honey packet or anything else required me getting up and searching for "anyone" to assist. The Bottom Line: As always, my "customer so what"... would I come back: Most likely, because the food and atmosphere were exceptional, I'd more than likely put up with the service. If you don't mind paying the price of being ignored to "eventually" enjoy a fantastic meal, you'll like this bistro.

We had a choice of soup and went with the sweet potato pear. The tiers include delicious sandwiches (tuna, cucumber, egg, turkey), desserts, and scones. The scones are served with jam, lemon curd, and clotted cream. All food is made in-house or comes from a local bakery. Everything tasted very fresh. There is milk and honey on the table. The table is very elegantly set. Our server did an amazing job. He continually checked on us and kept our water glasses full. There is parking in the attached lot. I've been to many high teas and this is the BEST in South Florida. You can order A-la carte or do the 3-tier tea.

My sisters, Mom, and I celebrated my birthday at Serenity Garden tea House & Cafe a few months ago…read more Since I had never attended a tea service before, I had no idea what to expect. Serenity exceeded our expectations so much that my sisters and I returned for a farewell get together for my sister about six weeks later. The house that Serenity occupies was built in 1916 and definitely adds to the charm of the experience. The decor is quaint and 'girly' with large hats and tea pots scattered around the shelves and walls. Many tea cups, saucers, and plates are displayed throughout the shop. I was so happy that Serenity offers a gluten free menu. The first course for me consisted of a delicious sweet potato soup. I wished I could have eaten more but there was plenty more food to come. The gluten free finger sandwiches were also tasty. The chocolate covered strawberry, macaron, and brownie (all gf) finished up a filling tea service. The desserts were store bought and tasted good but they were obviously store bought and were a minor let down. We ended up boxing up some of our sandwiches and desserts to take home to enjoy later! Each of us were given our own large pot of tea to go along with our lunch. Our first visit, I chose Peach Black Tea while one of my sisters tried the Chai Black Tea. We both bought the same teas from the store in the tea house to take home with us as we enjoyed them so much. The individual tea pots are quite large, The tea pots are wrapped in large, colorful cozies to stay warm throughout our visit. My sisters and I sampled each others' tea, of course. Each of us also drank a glass of champagne. The service is attentive, friendly, and efficient. I wish I could remember the name our server as he took care of our table both times we visited. He really helped make our visits to Serenity special and relaxing. The owner and the staff really work together to make a visit to Serenity Garden Tea House & Cafe a fantastic experience for their guests. We'll be back!!

I found exactly that at Earth and Sugar--just in time for my birthday! Last minute, my mom suggested I pick up some cupcakes to celebrate. I called Earth and Sugar to ask if they had any Funfetti gluten-free available that day (they didn't, which I totally understand!), but they kindly held three vanilla/vanilla cupcakes for me to grab. When I arrived, I spotted their chocolate chip cookies and couldn't resist trying one. It was incredible--a little sea salt on top, slightly doughy in the middle, and full of flavor. The bakery itself was renovated last year, and it's stunning--more like a chic interior design studio than a typical bakery. And the cupcakes? Absolutely delicious. I usually skip frosting, but theirs is rich, light, and completely irresistible. Overall: Five Stars I'll definitely be back to try the Funfetti next time. Thank you, Earth and Sugar, for making gluten-free taste this good!

The Parisian Restaurant…read more I recently celebrated my birthday at The Parisian and hadn't been in several years--wow. It absolutely did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who graciously and happily adjusted our reservation so we could sit outdoors. The evening could not have been more perfect--ideal temperature, beautiful ambiance, and that effortless European charm The Parisian does so well. Our server, Barbie, was exceptional. Open, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, she guided us through the menu and wine selections with ease and confidence. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made the entire experience feel celebratory without ever being intrusive. We started with the mussels, served with outstanding crusty bread. The white wine shallot sauce was, without question, the best I've ever had--rich, balanced, and absolutely crave-worthy. For entrées, we chose the filet (perfectly cooked and full of flavor) and the scallops, which were a special that evening. The scallops were cooked to absolute perfection, paired with pasta and a sauce that was beautifully balanced--elegant, refined, and deeply satisfying. And of course, the French fries deserve their own moment: for fine dining, these fries are legendary and truly a must-order. Dessert was the crème brûlée, and once again--pure perfection. Silky custard, perfectly caramelized top, and the ideal finish to a flawless meal. The Parisian is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why classic, well-executed cuisine never goes out of style. From the hospitality to the food to the ambiance, every detail was thoughtful and polished. I'll absolutely be back--and not waiting several years next time.

The bar was busy but found seats and met with the bartender who alerted me to the Happy Hour menu, which I appreciated. Ordered a meat & cheese charcuterie board, roasted peppers and drinks. The brie cheese was so soft it melted in my mouth and the grilled Shishito peppers were excellent. Loved the food, drinks and ambiance. Everything was going so well until the bill arrived - glad I actually review my bills. The bartender that informed me of the Happy Hour did not provide those $50 savings to the bill and had to explain the issue to another bartender. Took him a few minutes to revise the bill but it was fixed. If not for the hefty error on the bill, this would have easily been five stars.

Our waitress was not the friendliest at first (didn't make eye contact for the first half hour), but finally warmed up to us and made the experience fun. For the weekend brunch I ordered the basket of scones (with Devonshire cream), and the steak and eggs. The scones were warm and paired nicely with the cream- absolutely delicious. The hanger steak for the main meal was cooked to medium rare, and was tender and juicy. The eggs were overcooked (basic skill that should be mastered if you're charging $52 for them), and both the eggs and potatoes were under seasoned. Did not like the onions on top of steak. Dish just did not wow me. Mixed drinks were all presented beautifully, but lacked any alcohol. Just not worth the price (very expensive), I would not return.
