I've actually never written a review before, but Juver was so amazing that I can't help myself. I brought in my MacBook pro, which had stopped functioning for some reason that morning. Juver took care of it that day, cleaned out the inside, increased my memory, and added new software. It's working better than ever, and only cost me $150! Working with a computer technician is a bit like working with a car mechanic. You really don't know what's going on under the hood, and so the experience is almost all about trust. Which is maybe the best thing about Juver. He's trustworthy, straightforward, cheerful, reliable, and takes pride in his shop and his work. The guys at Mac & PC Wireless were super helpful and super speedy in repairing my Mac! I've had it for about 5 years and one day it randomly started beeping and wouldn't turn on, they discovered the problem was both with my RAM & hard drive and replaced both within hours for a very reasonable price. When I first received my computer back I was upset because my documents and photos were not transferred from my old hard drive - make sure this is something you ask them to do BEFORE they replace the hard drive - but they were super quick to retrieve all of my old data and transfer it over without charging me. He gave me my laptop back without the battery, and after more than 30 days he has not given me the battery back... promises, and promises. I will trek all the way to Ridgewood from Manhattan because Hoover is just so awesome. I've seen him twice now - first time I had a problem with my phone, all the other cell phone stores in the city said I needed to just replace my phone - Hoover fixed it for me for somewhere around just $60 (as opposed to buying another $400 phone). Second time I had trouble charging my phone, and the cell phone store guy was saying I had to get the phone repaired for $80-100. Hoover checked my phone out and realized that all I really needed was a new charger. And he was right! No downtime of getting phone fixed AND saved all that money. read more

I cracked my 2013 MacBook Pro retina display screen, which is a huge pain, and called a number of different places to try to get it repaired as quickly and cheaply as possible. Most told me that it would be at least $600 dollars and would take several days to get the parts in and several more days to fix it, and they were all noncommittal and unhelpful over the phone. The guy from OC Computers, on the other hand, was incredibly friendly and told me exactly what he would do to fix it, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. Dropped it off the next afternoon, got it back fully functional the same day for just $400. And there's a 90 day warranty! Great service. read more

My daughter's laptop charger broke. It could not be plugged into the wall socket without getting a shock. I went to the store where I bought the laptop and they said a new charger could be delivered in 2 weeks! Not good! I remembered passing by OC Computers so I googled their number. I would highly recommend this company, all my files on my computer was encrypted with virus. I was devastated because I had a lot of important files. I called up geek squad and they spent over 2 1/2 hours trying to fixed the problem but at the end he said I can not fixed your problem. I had just brought my computer to Mikey's HookUp who told me I would have to pay way more than my macbook was worth to replace my display. I brought it to OC computers by chance and he looked at it for free for a good 10 minutes and told me to bring it back if there was a problem again. When I brought it back he worked on it immediately and emailed me the next day with the problem and had already fixed it for way less money than Mikey's HookUp was asking.
