Tummy Tuck and Lipo 5/21/21, first major surgery. Healing process was not smooth. My drains stayed in until almost 6 weeks, average time is 2. The only reason why one was removed was it clogged and I smelled like a rotting corps'. Had to leave work smell was so bad. My body was still producing fluid. Then my belly button began to look suspious, i sent pic through text 7/2, nurse Rebecca said Dr. said it was find, I continued to have symptoms but was told its normal. On 7/9 sent more pictures, i felt pain and heat in my stomach and belly button looked much worse. No response until Monday , 3 days later and was told i should of called the office phone. Even though i had been using this text number for the last 2 months and did get responses on evening and weekends. I went to urgent care 7/10 once i didn't get response from the surgeon nurse Rebecca. I was hospitalized immediately and transported by ambulance and was released that following Wed 7/14. 7/12, 3 days after I sent the pictures of possible infection i finally got a text back stating the Dr. can see me that afternoon or the next day at noon. Still did not seem to concern that there was a infection , casually sent a text to come in today or tomorrow. My response , i am in the hospital with a infection, Kaiser had to put new tubes in my belly and hooked to IV. Cellulitis , which can be fatal if not treated. Thank God i went didn't wait on this surgent office. I really could of gotten sick. What is most upsetting, the nurse response after knowing i was in the hospital was a long email basically cover her self , instead of showing concern. I never got a phone call, no one even texted me to see what my status was or if i was even released. Next contact i had was 2 weeks later when i emailed that i want half of my money returned. Dr. was suppose to do a revision lipo, after i healed as part of my package. After this i was not going to go back. I would rather loose my money than trust this office with my life and my body. She did respond only to tell me i miss my 7/21 appt. which last she texted me i was in the hospital , i could of been dead already all she knew. There was not checking on me, no how are you, just you missed your appt. WHAT! By the way she completely ignored my request to get half of my money back. Which i think is more than fair , they did half the job. That half poorly done, my results are not good and there lack of after care landed me in the hospital. See pic yourself. Tell me if you see infection, how can they be so casual and dismissive. I guess thats because i paid upfront in full. They had there money, that what's important. Revision, I wouldn't let him put a band aide on paper cut let alone any revision. I can't believe i am the first horrible review. Be ware, This was my experience. I hope no one ever has to go through what i went through. Kaiser followed up after my release check on me, the nurses even sent me a card once i got home. That is showing care. This place NEVER EVEN TRIED TO CALL ME. CRAZY THEY WERE THE ONE WHO CAUSED IT. IF HE WOULD OF JUST GAVE ME ANTI BIOTICS BACK 7/2 WHEN I FIRST SENT THE PIC OF MY BELLY BUTTON GETTING INFECTED INTSTEAD OF TELLING ME , IT JUST NEEDS TIME TO HEAL MAYBE IT WOULDN'T OF LANDED ME IN THE HOSPTIAL PICS ARE HORRIBLE, THESE ARE AT 2 MONTHS, MY BELLY SWOLLEN AND INEFECTED, HE RESPONSE, SWELLING TAKE TIME, TIME WOULD OF KILLED ME, I HAD A INFECTION THAT COULD OF BEEN FATAL! Not sure if its the Dr. that was the blame to poor response to text and emails or the nurse Rebecca. Either way this office was a horrible experience Worse part, once i heal i will still have to find another surgeon to finish the job.

From the very first consultation to my recovery, Dr. Ku and his team have been nothing but professional, compassionate, and incredibly skilled. At 41 years old, I feel like my life has just begun since my surgery. My only regret? That I didn't find Dr. Ku YEARS AGO! The results are beyond what I could have imagined -- I feel and look absolutely amazing. Not only has my confidence skyrocketed, but I feel lighter, healthier, and more comfortable in my own body than I ever thought possible. Dr. Ku is a true artist and a perfectionist in the best way. He listened to all of my concerns, answered every question with patience, and delivered results that exceeded my expectations. His bedside manner is warm and reassuring, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients' well-being. If you are even thinking about a breast reduction -- stop waiting. Don't put it off like I did. Schedule your consultation with Dr. Ku TODAY. You will not only be in the best hands, but you'll be giving yourself the gift of a brand new chapter in life. Dr. Ku, thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me my confidence, my comfort, and my life back.

Summary: I regret…read morechoosing Dr Ku to perform my tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) and two separate arm lifts (bracheoplasty). I definitely don't recommend Dr Ku for those procedures. I'm unhappy with the results, detailed below. Details: First in 2022, I had a tummy tuck and an arm lift, both during the same surgery. Tummy Tuck Results: The left and right sides of my stomach didn't match. The stitches were tighter on the left end of the incision, creating a muffin-top effect only on that side. Arm Lift Results: My arms didn't match either. My left arm was itself unevenly proportioned, and it was larger than the right arm. (See photos) At post-op visits, I mentioned these concerns. Dr. Ku repeatedly responded by saying "the body is not naturally symmetrical". I felt like I was being dismissed. In my opinion, it's fair to expect matching arms after plastic surgery. If I were getting breast augmentation, I would absolutely expect my left and right breasts to reasonably match. I expected my arms to reasonably match. About a year later, I paid Dr Ku for a revision surgery. I had another arm lift. And I had abdominal liposuction to blend and smooth things out. The results: My arms still don't match. Also, the second surgery created a new fold on the back of my left arm near the armpit. Dr. Ku said the section had been "over-tightened". (See photo) Worst of all, now I have a very noticeable dog ear on my right elbow. A dog ear is an excess of skin and fatty tissue that pokes out at the end of the stitches. It's very embarrassing to me, I feel like it calls more attention to the scar. (See photos) Dr Ku said that in order to correct the dog ear, he will have to extend the scar further down past my elbow. So that would mean no chance of hiding the scar under short sleeves, which is very upsetting. First, he estimated that he could do the dog ear correction under a local anesthetic for a "few hundred". Later, after he saw the fold on my other arm, he said it would be fully another revision surgery. Well, I just couldn't afford a third surgery at that time. Call me crazy, but I had not anticipated needing two revision surgeries. I asked for an extension on his revision price policy, but Dr Ku said no. I could not understand the issue with giving me more time. We were already two years into this. I had been very patient with him! And I had tried so hard to stay positive! The whole situation felt very unfair to me at that point. I realized it was a bad idea to consider a third surgery with Dr. Ku. I was just blinded by the revision price. Fast forward to now: I seriously regret the arm lifts. Now, my arms are scarred, plus they don't match. I've been wearing long sleeves for three years, even in triple degree summer heat waves. I'm just so embarrassed. And I don't even know when I can afford another surgeon. I wasted so much money, time, risk, stress. Don't risk throwing away your dream surgery. Just choose another surgeon. Two stars because the staff is great, and the facility is nice. I felt safe having surgery there.

If you are not keen to read a longer review, the headline is DR. MACHIDA IS THE BEST AND I REALLY…read moreCANNOT RECOMMEND HIM ENOUGH! For further detail, keep reading... ...I don't think I have experienced anything in life where I have felt so confident and eager to recommend something with no doubt - I am worried I won't find the words to truly convey how skilled Dr. Machida is as a facelift surgeon (as well as upper blepharoplasty) but I will try my best because I want anyone considering this surgery to visit Dr. Machida for a consultation. I am going to jump ahead and highlight now that my results and recovery were INCREDIBLE (just in case people don't make it to the end because I know this is a bit long) - I am so delighted with both. I had been researching facelift surgery for almost one year and was becoming overwhelmed at what felt like an impossible decision - how could I decide who I could trust to operate on my face?! I explored many surgeons from London in England (where I am from), to many across Los Angeles, including Beverly Hills, attending several consultations, but I just did not feel fully 'sold' on any surgeon I saw. When I came across Dr. Machida online, I felt encouraged but, to be honest, a little sceptical - his reviews were so good, I thought, can this be true?? Honestly, from the moment I called his office and spoke with Bertha, I started to feel excited - this felt different, it sounds silly, but I could just tell that these people knew what they were doing. There was no sales patter, no pressure, just clear information with a warmth that immediately made me feel at ease. This feeling was entirely cemented when I attended the clinic for my consultation. I could write pages and pages but all I will say is, I wish I had met someone like me over a year ago who could tell me that this is the right decision. Of course, you do not know me, you don't know if you can trust me but, believe me, I am fussy, hard to please and will research everything to the most extreme degree. I wasn't willing to scrimp when it came to an operation on my face but, equally, I was not willing to use my life savings for this procedure which is why my research had to be meticulous. Dr. Machida and his staff are too good to be true...except they are not! Dr. Machida is a magician, Sharon is a wonder, her care for me was more than my mother would give, I swear! Norma is a joy and Bertha will leave no stone unturned to help you...she always goes above and beyond to ensure you feel like the most precious patient in the world. As soon as you walk in to the office, you will feel the most genuine warmth and care. My results are perfect, they totally exceeded my expectations, and my 'recovery', the speed of it still amazes me, three months later. I have read so much about others' tough recoveries which, to be honest, I was expecting - I mean it's full face surgery, it seems a big deal, right?! I was expecting the worst BUT...honestly, it was shockingly easy, I experienced very little pain and discomfort. I cleaned my entire house five days after my surgery, it was as though I had only undergone a minor procedure. I don't know how Dr. Machida manages this, like I said, a true magician. To clarify, I had the deep plane face/neck lift, upper blepharoplasty and the full face CO2 laser treatment. At no point was there ANY upsell - I enquired for the upper blepharoplasty, in addition, and Dr. Machida said he did not think it was a necessity but that he could understand my desire and he told me to go away and fully consider whether I really felt I needed it. This is entirely the opposite of any of my other consultations where they all added on recommended procedures which I had not mentioned. You will not regret this decision and, as bonus to the wonderful results you will enjoy, you will meet a special group of people you will never forget.

I say surgeries because his staff left sutures in me by accident and they got infected! Two weeks after they removed the sutures you could literally see inside my breast tissue as the wound opened up! I came back to Dr Park because I was so happy with my first surgeries with him as he fixed my capsular contracture. This time 10 years later I came back for a down size in implants and a lollipop lift. When I had my scheduled surgery they were running behind so I had to wait for hours even though my surgery time was very early before sun came up o'clock! They still hooked me up to an IV and left me sitting there alone for so long my IV bag went empty! I had to pee so bad because I took the whole IV bag, so I had to call from the bed on my cell phone to the front office because no one was coming to help me. It was awful! Finally a nurse came back and change my IV bag and let me go pee. Then they brought out the patient they were working on, they woke her up, she was in so much pain and moaning, asking for something for the pain and they told her to take the pain meds when she got home. Five minutes later a door opened and she went home. That was a omen for my future self! This was Two hours after I was told to be there for my surgery, they finally took me back after that patient left. It was frightening because they had me walk to the surgery room dragging my IV port, and see all the tools they were going to use. It seemed so unprofessional and not like the first time I had surgery there years ago. I was hooked up and cried myself into a medicated sleep, never seeing Dr. Park! I don't even know if he's the one who actually did my surgery because he wasn't in the room. Maybe that is why he didn't put back in the 'Stratice' that kept me from getting the capsular contracture in my first surgery with him. To pick up where I left off, the worst experience having surgery in my life! Just like the girl before me, I woke up in so much pain and nauseous! I told the girl I'm feeling very nauseous and within seconds, with no warning she stabbed me in my arm with a needle to give me nauseous medicine! Wtf did she not give that to me and my IV?! My prior surgeries I've had they always give it to you either before via a patch that goes behind your ear which they didn't do here, or they usually give it to you via the IV when they know you get nauseous from anesthesia. That was extremely painful she didn't say anything about it just stab me in my arm and it hurt for days afterwards. They didn't give me any pain medication like the girl before told me to take it when I get home which is crazy because usually like I said before in other surgeries they usually give you pain meds through the IV so you aren't an excruciating pain when you wake up. I never saw Dr Park on my surgery today that was very suspect. The surgery ended up being a flop my breasts were deformed there was skin hanging from one side he moved my nipples but forgot a piece of my nipple so I have two nipples on one breast, the other one my nipple is much lower than my other breast and much higher than the other one they're completely deformed he wanted me to have another surgery a third surgery, and wanted to charge me $10,000 to fix his mistakes! No thanks, I'm now researching other doctors to fix his botched work. I think Dr Park is too busy with his radio show and trying to be famous that he's completely forgot the whole purpose was to do quality plastic surgery! He completely forgot to put the stratice back in which was keeping me from having capsular contracture. It's been a year now and my breasts have started capsulating again. When I had my post-op I asked Dr Park if he put the stratice back in and he looked at me with a blank face like oh s*** look on his face, and said no and played it off that I got the "gummy bear" implants so it shouldn't be a problem. Yadda yadda yadda. Lo and behold now my breasts are capsulating again. So I'll be going in for a 7th surgery I won't be going back to Dr Park ever again that's for sure! The nurses are terribly rude when Dr Park isn't around. Not sure if he knows this. They all act like they don't need your business. So, they got their wish. They won't be getting my business and I hope you think twice about going to this chop shop!!!

After I paid the deposit for my surgery, I should have known not to get my surgeries done with her. She gave me her number just in case I had any questions before and after my surgery. I had a couple of questions before my surgery and she was on it with responding to my text messages or calling me. After my surgery I called the office and it was on a Wednesday or Thursday , when she has surgeries. Nobody told me to call physician Bennett if I had any concerns in the days of her surgery. I called the office because I had a concern in regards to my breasts hurting and to ask her if she could prescribe me another prescription. I figured I had an infection. The person I spoke to at the front told me to call her. I told her I didn't want to out of courtesy because she was having to do surgeries on that day. I asked the person that I spoke at the front desk if she can relate the message to physician Bennett and let her know that I was probably going to need more antibiotic because I thought I had an infection. Physician never called me. I called back like two days after. And that week they didn't have anymore appointments for me to go see her until the following week. I went in the following week and I told one of her employees that I was upset because I never got a call back from the physician. The employee got upset and was telling me that if the girl at the front desk that I originally spoke to said that I should had called the physician like she had told me. I told her that the physician never told me to call her on her days when she was doing surgeries. She also spoke to the girl at the front desk and then she told me that the girl did relate the message to the physician. She then related the message to the physician about my concern on me not getting a call back from the physician before she went in the room to see me. Physician Bennett asked me what my concern were. I mentioned to her that I had called the office for them to give her a message in regards to maybe needing another antibiotic prescription. She told me the message was never related to her and that she would talk to the person at the front desk that helped me. She looked at my breasts and then she said if I thought I had an infection. I was wondering why she was asking me that question, when she's the surgeon. It turned out my right breast was filled with fluid and infected. She squeezed my breasts and then l fr a hole that didn't heal shut for several weeks. My right breasts has a big indent on the bottom where the t is and it looks horrible. The left breast seems like she cut into my muscle and isn't round at the bottom like a normal breast should look. So disappointed with the work she did. I hope anyone that sees my review don't go to her or her office. If you need a breast lift go to a breast specialist that knows what they are doing. I will eventually have to go to a breast specialist so they can fix the horrible work she did. If I could give her a zero star rating I would. She really stinks and doing breast lift surgeries when you get your breasts removed. I wasn't going to give her a rating but now that it's been eight months, I see that my breasts don't look any better than when I first had my surgeries. She shouldn't be doing surgeries. She stinks at it. Please beware of her. She will make you look ugly and regret you ever went to her and gave her your money. Unfortunately, I posted pictures of the poopy job she did and they were deleted off here.

After multiple emails and calls with no response, I was eventually told I would not receive a refund because I had received medication. However, I was only provided a 30-day vial for what was supposed to be a 90-day program. I did not receive additional refills, nor did I receive the follow-up visits that were included in the program services that were canceled by the clinic, not by me. Additionally, the original flyer clearly stated that if the treatment was not a good fit or did not work, a full refund would be issued. Despite this, I have still not received any refund or resolution. Prior to this situation, my experience was positive, staff were friendly and the clinic appeared professional. Unfortunately, the way this closure and billing issue have been handled has been extremely disappointing and has left me without both care and accountability. I hope the office takes responsibility and works toward a fair resolution.
