I hate to leave this type of review, but after multiple attempts to resolve this directly with the office, I feel it's important to share my experience. I began hormone replacement therapy (HRT) through the wellness side of Li Surgery in November, with a scheduled follow-up in February for pellet reinsertion. In January, I also enrolled in an additional 3-month program, with a follow-up appointment scheduled for the same February date. On the day of my appointment, I received a call informing me that the wellness center was closing effective immediately. This left me scrambling to find a new HRT provider, which is already a stressful and time-sensitive process. I reached out regarding a refund for the 3-month program I had just started in January. After multiple emails and calls with no response, I was eventually told I would not receive a refund because I had received medication. However, I was only provided a 30-day vial for what was supposed to be a 90-day program. I did not receive additional refills, nor did I receive the follow-up visits that were included in the program services that were canceled by the clinic, not by me. Additionally, the original flyer clearly stated that if the treatment was not a good fit or did not work, a full refund would be issued. Despite this, I have still not received any refund or resolution. Prior to this situation, my experience was positive, staff were friendly and the clinic appeared professional. Unfortunately, the way this closure and billing issue have been handled has been extremely disappointing and has left me without both care and accountability. I would not recommend Dr. Li's Plastic surgery office at all!! I have been burned on my chest with IPL by Dawn LI, I was overfilled with filler in my face leaving me rippled under and on top of my lips, with blobs of filler that moved down into my chin, side of my mouth, and laugh lines. Pic below I didn't circle the other side (laugh line) but very noticeable filler overfilled. I told Dawn I thought it was filler, but she kept saying it was ME!! I felt bad about myself. I TRUSTED HER!!!! In fact, she kept insisting it was me over a few visits and kept injecting toxins into my chin and upper lip. $he said injecting all these toxins, would relax the muscle and smooth me out, verbatim! This practice did everything but relax a muscle. Horror botched jobs that have cost me thousands to fix! I used to bank filler, but then she changed the rules. I was no longer able to bank my unused filler and was treated differently by staff. I heard them talking behind my back, &I called them out on it. MEAN GIRLS! Filler lasts a very long time in me. So, no banking. I would've rather it go in the trash! $$ is what she is after & took advantage of my kind trusting nature after being a patient for YEARS! GOT GREEDY! Dawn Li, said jokingly like it was a good thing..."There's always places to fill!" Laughed about it... So then she gave me a hand mirror to hold and started pointing out places on my face to put filler... even behind my laugh lines, there are lines!!! I never even noticed this before!! Too much filler and couldn't bank anymore! WHY!? HMM? It has cost me THOUSANDS to fix her botched jobs. She still insisted that the blob was me, and injected me all over the upper lip and all over my chin with NEW-TOX!! I couldn't feel anything! It froze my face over a year leaving ugly ripples and dimples in my face. Even after I called and had another surgeon remove the filler, I WROTE IT WAS NOT ME DAWN!! Still called and asked for my $$ back, never heard a word! I just was laughed at by staff, and humiliated by the manager, Lynette who sarcastically thanked me for my Yelp pics, how rude!! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR AND IS VERY HURTFUL AND FELT BULLIED! IPL--- The burned uneven IPL. Again! DAWN blamed that on me too!! I can't make this up! Dawn said, "It's my fault, I wanted a stronger laser." I have my medical records, I have never had IPL done on my chest! I am not a Lic. Professional, she is. Could you imagine asking a doctor for stronger opioids and let's say I OD and then the doctor turns around and says, "Oh, it's your fault you asked for stronger drugs!" No accountability!!! ABSURD! Pathetic! Dawn, you messed up. We all make mistakes!! I wish you showed some compassion and remorse and answered my calls! Did something!! I have every right to be upset about what has happened to me!! You didn't even, TRY!! Try to fix it! OR EVEN, OWN IT! What did you do? You did, NOTHING!!!! Not even an apology! I have been laughed at by the manager and sarcastically got a thx for the pictures on Yelp when I called. PICS DON'T LIE!!! Horrible that you would laugh at this Lynette. It's an absolute nightmare what I have been going through!! Going on almost 2 1/2 years of hell!!! Trying to fix her botched job!!!! It takes 12 weeks for cell turnover!! And the downtime what it does to your mental health!! Not cool. Look at me! Look what you did to me. Look at these pictures!! It's unbelievable!! THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER BEEN THROUGH AT A PLASTIC SURGEON'S OFFICE, BY FAR!!! I have never, in my whole life, been treated so awful! Forget the botched jobs... The treatment by the staff alone! CRYING TYPING THIS!!! --I always thought when reading reviews on Yelp, how cliché it was to read, "I wish I could leave zero stars." I don't think that now!!! Went with my friend and she got her surgery done with him. She was not happy with her results from the surgery so she went back in to voice her concerns. She is devastated because the dr. Didn't try to resolve the issues she's having with her breasts. I understand all results aren't exactly what you expect, but a little more understanding would have gone a long way which the Dr. did not properly execute. What an amazing experience! I had 3 consults with Dr. Li in the 3 years leading up to being ready to have my breast implant replacement surgery. I was extremely assymetrical with a concave right side. At each visit he took the time to talk to me and make sure his plan would acheive the look I wanted. At the beginning of the summer, one of my 27 year old implants got a hole in it so it was surely time to schedule the procedure. I wanted Dawn Li to put under-eye filler. Three weeks earlier she did some well-placed Botox and used enzymes under the eyes to dissolve 'old filler, discolored' some and voila! Looked a lot better. Back for that under-eye filler and she wanted to try 'lifting the area' by a different filler in under cheeks (behind?). Super happy I did not try the under eye pillows!
