I've been going to NuBella and seeing Nurse Kayla for years now, and I can't imagine trusting my face to anyone else. Trusting someone with your face is a HUGE deal and it's not just about the results, it's about feeling safe, heard, and genuinely cared for during the entire process. Nurse Kayla is an absolute gem! From the moment I sit down, she has this magical way of making me feel beautiful before she even picks up a syringe. So far I've been here twice for Botox with Lexi, and it's worth the drive for me. Lexi is awesome; answers all my questions and just has a calming presence overall that made my first experience really pleasant. Kristy at the front desk was also here helping me for both appointments and she's a gem. I had my first appointment at Nubella Med Spa, September 2023. Upon arrival I was greeted by Natalie, who was kind and made the check-in process quick and easy. Lexi was my nurse injector. It was my first time getting Botox ever, so I was a bit nervous. Lexi walked me through the entire process and educated me along the way. It's important to make sure your nurse injector is knowledgeable because one mistake could be detrimental, since it is your face. She made a suggestion on how many units I needed and where she would be injecting on my face. I trusted her judgement and 100% do not regret it! I was wowed by the results a few days later. I didn't think my skin could look so great without wrinkles! I have my second appointment this week with Lexi and I am so excited! Highly recommend Lexi as your nurse injector at Nubella Med Spa. read more

I highly recommend Lexi at Nubella Med Spa. I was having a massive amount of pain from tmj. I woke up every morning with my jaw hurting and a headache. I decided to consult with Lexi about possible solutions with Botox injections after seeing her success stories on instagram. She crafted a plan to help me, and I am eternally thankful. I experienced pain relief within 20 minutes of the procedure. The pain continued to demininish as the days went by, and all headaches are gone. I am finally sleeping without waking in pain. Nurse Lexi is so good at what she does. She takes great care of you and has no problem being honest with you to let you know exactly what you need. This facility is so nice, clean and professional. I have been to other injectors in the past who would just do the bare minimum and dont give their opinion on what they think you need. Clean, professional, and my injector Lexi always does an amazing job. In the beginning I would still let other injectors touch my face but after a few unhappy trips to other spas.. I started to only let Lexi inject me and I've never looked back! Im always happy with my fillers and Botox. I was looking for a place near my house for Botox and I am so happy I found Nubella. They had a first time patient deal that was awesome. I loved the office. NuBella Med Spa was founded in 2018 by Nurse Practitioner Brandy Casey with the objective of providing the highest quality of patient care in the industry while creating a well-balanced aesthetic look. We started in a small salon suite in Costa Mesa, CA with a staff of two and have now grown into a top national med spa with multiple locations across multiple states. If I were rating the laser technicians alone, I would give them a 5/5. They were wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk and management was very different. For those who are accustomed to the customer service at European Wax, I want to point out that the level of customer service here was not comparable. My concerns were primarily with communication, professionalism, and how my packages and account were handled. I saw that the front desk staff had placed not so nice notes on my file. I was also told that these notes could not be removed, which left me uncomfortable knowing that future staff would see them. When I brought my concerns to management, she acknowledged that customer service from the front desk has been a struggle, but I believe management also needs to take responsibility for properly training and supervising staff. When I asked to review the packages I had purchased, the front desk employee told me that I would need to remember a conversation from a year ago because she was also confused about what packages I had. When escalated to Management, she told me she was unclear about the "sales tactic" that had been used when some of my packages were sold to me and therefore could not provide much insight. That was very concerning to me. How can management not be aware of how packages and services are being presented and sold to customers? And when a customer questions something, they should not feel insulted or uncomfortable for doing so. Fortunately, I had a witness with me who was also dealing with her own issues during the visit. She witnessed how I was treated and the interaction that took place. Another major concern is how customers are informed--or not informed--when they run out of services in their package. I was told that it is entirely the customer's responsibility to keep track of when their package runs out. I understand that customers have some responsibility, but I believe better communication and customer service would go a long way. While I was there, another customer was informed only after her appointment and service that she had run out of her package and now owed money for the service. She was clearly caught off guard and became extremely upset. I felt terrible for her because she had not expected an additional charge, and she had been allowed to make the appointment and receive the service without being informed beforehand. Overall, I am extremely disappointed. The laser technicians deserve recognition for the quality of their work, but the front desk experience, communication, package management, and the way customer concerns were handled left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and focuses on better training, communication, and customer service so future clients do not have to go through a similar experience.

I questioned how the amount could be determined without first consulting me, especially since my last visit was a year ago, prices may have changed, and I had questions. The receptionist repeated that I was there for a "repeat," but their definition seemed to go beyond what a customer would reasonably expect. In the past, they also took photos before starting, but this time there was no consultation or photos--just being placed in a room to wait. Overall, the experience felt rushed and lacked the communication and attention to detail I had previously received.

I love the Derm Bar! This is going to be a long story, so bear with me. I've had issues with…read morerosacea and eczema for years and tried countless treatments, but nothing seemed to work. My regular MD prescribed a topical cream that helped with the flare-ups, flaking, and scaling, though it didn't eliminate or reduce the redness. I was content with the results until I lost the cream during a vacation. When I returned, my face was extremely itchy and almost purple. My doctor prescribed the cream again, and I was ready to fix the issue. Around the same time, my kids needed to see a dermatologist for their warts, which is how I discovered The Derm Bar. When Britney was helping my kids, she noticed my face and immediately wanted to help. She asked about my current treatment, not in a pushy way, but out of genuine concern. It turned out that the cream my doctor prescribed was a steroid, which had long-term repercussions and had caused my face to become dependent on it, hence the flare up when I lost it. Britney advised me to wean off the steroid and scheduled an appointment for me. She put me on a regimen of morning and evening creams and some medications to restore my skin's health. After a few weeks, my skin had significantly improved with just the creams--no more flakiness, itchiness, scaling, or burning. Britney also recommended a laser treatment, which has noticeably reduced the redness. The red nodules near my nostrils disappeared with just one zap. I'll be posting some pictures to show my progress. I can't express how wonderful my experience has been. The office and staff are incredibly friendly and great. Thanks to their services, I can now walk outside with just a tinted moisturizer and not feel embarrassed. It's truly been a life changer.
