David Henning at Maaco has bestowed a very happy holiday season for me, of which I hope my story finds you fellow yelpers well too... My search for an Auto Repair shop was incepted from a very minor accident that resulted in very minor yet conspicuous scuffs. Prior to entering David's shop, my hopes for an affordable fix were not high as I had just received a repair quote from a shop directly across the street with the total repair costs estimating north of $800 (they also wanted to keep my car for 3 days). This was subsequent to filling out a form requesting for my personal information. Upon my interaction with David, I gathered that he was an altruistic individual and was very eager to help. He reiterated that the scuffs were not serious and I had 2 options for my situation: 1) Re-paint the rear passenger door and back panel: Roughly $500 (still more affordable than across the street) 2) Buff the affected areas ($20)-- For this option, he explained that the outcome would look significantly better, but would not be perfect for the surfaces deeply affected by the collision. I opted for the second option and I insisted on witnessing any work performed on my car (I am very particular as to what is being performed to my car). Without hesitation, he whole-heartedly agreed and allowed me a safe vantage point. He also did not require me to fill out a bogus form requesting my personal information. He invested approximately 30-40 minutes of precise care and displayed extreme attentiveness to details upon removal/aesthetic touch ups for all the visible scuffs. He even branched out to other scratches that were beyond the scope of the region that was initially requested. The end result was spectacular, having removed nearly 90% of the scuffs and retouching the surfaces deeply affected. All in all, I had a tremendously positive experience with David here at Maaco. I can't speak for all the employees here, but without reservation I highly recommend David for all auto collision repair specialist needs. read more

Hello Everybody just another update today is January 7th 2021 I am still waiting for a call from a higher up personnel because they have yet to call me like they said they would. So once again more unprofessionalism and no care for the customer. but I am updating some more of the photos so you guys can see some of the other reviews that have had very similar issues to mine so that you know exactly what to expect if you're going to take your business there. Like I said before I will keep you guys updated with everything that happens and I will keep on putting new photos as much as I can whenever I can. establishments that act like this need to know that they need to step up to their mistakes and fix them. I will be posting this on Yelp here soon and social media sites so everybody can start following and seeing everything that's happening. I will not stop until my voice is heard not just to fix and replace the things that were broken but to make a point that it is the principles of being a good business and this is definitely not a good business. Update Jan 2, 2021 so this morning I started trying to clean my rims to try to get the overspray and metallic off and it will not come off. Also I have not been driving my vehicle since I've had it so we can stay in the same condition as I brought it home in. also just spoke with one of the customer service reps that i had to contact again and they said that a district manager will call me this week. but towards the end of the phone call he didn't seem interested and he hung up on me without even saying bye. so far I'm just seeing unprofessionalism from the start and it's still continuing. Update Jan 1, 2021. Hey Everyone so I got the chance to put some pictures on here for you to see exactly what they did in my car I have contacted customer service like they wanted me to through email and they have yet to respond back to me I do have to get my seats professionally cleaned to try to get the paint dust out of it I will repost the price so you guys can see how much damage they actually did. And I'll keep reposting every step of the way that things get handled and taken care of and I will be posting this on all social media until it gets handled They got over-spay on all four brand new rims the wheel shop i got them from told me they have to be re- powder coated. But unfortunately they have to re powder coat the whole rim or I would have to buy brand new rims to keep the same design. they forgot to put my antenna back on they forgot to put my roof trim back on didn't install new clips on the front bumper and footprints of paint dust and just dust everywhere inside the car they tried saying that dust was just color fading and my Fusion SE decal they combine them to make fussione on the trunk. And there masking was a 1/4in to 1/2in on the lights and trim. Unfortunately i am busy person and did not take pictures. Make sure you take plenty of pictures before and after so you don't get taken advantage of like i did because they refuse to do the right thing and they refuse to take responsibility for there screw ups and they will say they don't guarantee a good job and they don't tell you they don't cover spray issues. They had to fix drip lines. The car had to be reviewed 4 times and i still didn't get a good product. read more

Maaco did a fantastic job on my car. The color is super shiny like a mirror and the color is PERFECT. The price was so affordable, even compared with another Maaco location! They finished my car earlier than quoted which was nice. There was a little hiccup where my window tint was scratched but they took full responsibility for it and replaced the windows tinting. Had a 2005 Ford F150 whole body paint job done by Temecula Maaco and it turned out better than I thought it would. My truck didnt have any major dents; just very faded with brown rust on hood. Very happy with the results, hope the paint lasts for another 8-10 years. If you want to revive the exterior of an older car with faded paint but dont want to pay a ridiculous amount; I recommend Maaco Temecula. read more

Absolute garbage. I actually heard the current owner tell the incoming owner that he has a good team. If I had only know. They had my truck forever. A restore of a 2001 Ford F-150. Talk about a royal f*** up. They didn't do a paint job, they did cosmetic damage. Played with my $4k stereo while my truck was there. Employee's name was "Pee-Wes's Cock" on my stereo... always pleasant to read that. Got my truck back looking like the photos below. One guy said he would take care of it, so I said ok. Paint was better but they cut my windshield seal so bad I had to get Safelite to come replace the entire windshield. I can't fit all the photos, so I'll just put the worst ones. The dust was so damn bad... to top it off, I hear the current owner tell the incoming owner (in front of Keith) that the dust catchers (or whatever they're called) are broke and nobody likes to use them. They did an excellent job and I couldn't be happier. Repaired 2 areas of minor damage and painted car a beautiful metallic dark gray. My 2005 Camry looks like a brand new car and Frank is excellent to deal with! All that for 1,200 is a terrific deal. Plus it has a 3 year warranty. Would of given them 5 stars but they had to paint the car twice so it took over two weeks. read more

If I can give them a - 5, i would !! When I brought my car back for a re-spray because the car look worse after I got it painted ( in terms of gloss.) Sure, I was upset when I went in. Instead of working with me and trying to help me. The manager Cyndi Butler used phrases like, " This is what i am telling you....." ; " Come here, I said come here !" Terrible Franchise. Their answering service does not communicate with the store. And the staff at the shop are indignant and ignorant. I made the insurance company stop payment to this franchise and took my car somewhere else. Bottom line Don't go here. Find another place to repair your car despite where insurance company tells you to go. In California you have the right to choose. This is one of the biggest frauds I've ever come across they have a 50% coupon but when you tell them you have the coupon we were told there's a two week waiting period for them to see your car and then another two week waiting period to get your car into the shop plus we were told the car had to be fully prepped meaning hand sanded before the painting would be done and then we were told the car is too old and this is a Vehicle used in parades it's a classic convertible Cadillac in excellent condition we've been contacted their corporate office and they referred us back to that location and the corporate office is the ones that sent the coupon it's a big gimmick stay away read more

I had a nice paint job, but, they didnt follow simple instructions and ruined it. Cynthia, the manager, assured me they would remove the badges on my truck before painting. But they didnt. Now, when i removed the badges, you can easily see where they used to be. It looks like crap. And when i complained about it before paying $2500, Cynthia looked me strait in eye and said she didnt remember. Bull $hit! Whats worse is that one of her employees said "bring it back and we will take care of you", and then she scolded him im front of me and said no, they wont take care of it. My wife and I took our son's '98 Toyota 4Runner in for an estimate for some bodywork and paint. Everyone at the location was friendly and explained EVERYTHING. Based on the estimate, we scheduled a drop off date (they are currently scheduling appts about 3-4 weeks out because they are so busy) which was fine with us. On drop off day, we dropped off the vehicle as well as some new parts (that they were installing for us). Again, everyone was great and explained everything about the whole process. Based on all the work we were having done, we were told the vehicle would be ready in 2 weeks. Before the 2 weeks, we were called and told the vehicle was ready early. We went to pick it up and it looked amazing. Bodywork, new parts, paint all looked great. It was almost like looking at a brand new vehicle for our son. Perfect timing, because he graduated Navy Boot Camp that day and this whole upgrade was the perfect surprise for him. I see some negative reviews on here and we didn't experience any of these negative issues or complaints, but the exact opposite. Also, people need to be realistic and realize that there's a big difference between a $2000-3000 and a $7000-8000 paint and bodywork job. I took my Honda Pilot for paint job. Charged me $1400.00 not worth it. When i pulled into the driveway to pickup my car, i could see the running of the paint and bubbles. They have a lot of cars and they sand them down. It looks like they get the sand onto the new paint. I complained and they redid the bad painted area. It still looks crappy. I replaced my hood, fender, and bumper and needed them painted. I took it in to Maaco to get a quote. The manager Ranae explained to me that because the car is 10 years old even the factory color code wouldn't match. His quote to paint the whole car, fixing the scratches on the side and the oxidation on the beck bumper and a 2 year warrantee was much less than anyone had quoted me to just paint the panels. I was really happy when I picked up the car it looked really good and to my surprise they shined up the tires and had cleaned the dash inside the car, I wasn't expecting that! The warrantee gives me piece of mind because I'm going off to school in Idaho and I know if I have any problems there are Macco locations all over the country to take care of it. I don't recommend Temecula Maaco. Take it to Oceanside or Riverside location. They are franchises and have different management. I don't know how Maaco here in Temecula stays in business. I don't wish bad on anyone but the way I was treated and lied to my face was rediculous. I came on Saturday to get my car appraised for a paint job. My car has no damage to the body besides a small ding, few light scratches and chips in the hood. Andrew was the person who gave me an estimate of $850 max on Saturday with their package that goes for $799 usually, he was going to discount to $649, plus bondo on the door for $50 for the ding and $50 to strip paint of the hood. He told me all the other imperfections they will sand out to prep the car for painting. With taxes I wouldn't pay more that $850. So I shook his hand and he told me he will see me on Monday for an 830 appointment. Come Monday I race to them to get written up and get my car in the shop. I get greeted with another gentlemen named Robert. From the beginning from the way he greets me and rolls his eyes when I tell him I came for an estimate on Saturday and Andrew helped. He ask me if any paperwork was done. I told him no and that was why I was there. Basically He does another estimate higher than Andrew and reels me that is the best he can do. The estimate was closer to $1000. I tell him that wasn't what I was given on Saturday and he reels I should of gotten it in writing. Wow that is great customer service. So I go on telling because Andrew has entered the building at that moment that exactly what I wanted. He tells that if goes any lower he will be taking money away from his workers. Making me feel guilty. The tone and the way he talks to customers is very disrespectful and they lost a paying customer. From what I overheard is that they do mostly insurance claims. So if you got into car accident take in their shop and they will help you. Insurance claims don't make them any money. So having a paying customer does and they will treat really bad and try to rip you off. read more

The worst body shop in Temecula. Starting with Cindy Butler and ending with the work they did on my vehicle. Just throw paint above the existing paint and have a nice day...very unprofessional way to do business. All the old paint details still there and the orange peel make your vehicle look actually a real orange. Ripped off $1700 and when you want to talk with the manager or the painter that did that terrible paint job of course they are not there. Dont waste your money and better go to a more professional body shop. read more

I rejected it 3 times and took it the 4th. I am sorry I did. Once I got it home and really looked it over, it was totally horrible. Doped my car off at he Temecula location on a Friday. I was told the vehicle would be ready he following Friday. When we called on Tuesday to check the status we were told the collision guy has been sick all week since we dropped off and they weren't sure when or if he would be back in. So 5 days later and we had to call them to find this out. Decent customer service would at least require call to let me know the car would not be ready on time. Not a single apology. Picked up the vehicle and took around the corner to rancho auto collision. As maaco is a chain I assumed their standards would be upheld a little higher. I was wrong. Thanks for nothing. I made an appointment to bring my truck in on March 28th 2020 (Saturday) just to drop it off for a repaint since I cant drop it off on a weekday. Mind you I spoke to Art 3 days prior. Made an appointment Online and even provided my number. I received an email confirmation. Drove 35 minutes to the shop finding they are no longer open on Saturdays due to covid 19. Changes was made I guess end of the week. They could have called all the people that has and made an appointment. If they have called, I wouldnt have to drive over to keep my appointment. Finding out, they emailed me late Friday evening March 27th to notify me. It would have been better if they called all people who has an appointment during business hours to let them know of the changes. read more

Shitty general manager Frank telling me and I quote "get the fuck out" because the job that's suppose to be done to my car wasn't done right and didn't even do the job that was signed on the worksheet. On top of it they took off my hood plates for my hood pins so even if I wanted to drive it home I would of been at risk and more likely would have been in an accident because my latch doesn't work that's why I have the hood pins. I brought my car here because although the rest of the original paint looked pretty good, the roof had some "clear coat separation". Whole car was to be painted, same color as original.. estimated 3-4 days. (no body work needed) 12 days later my car was done. Blotchy color, vertical stripes on doors, bubbles, dirt under paint, paint chips around door, bumpy orange peel, dull & the alignement was off! My car looks horrible! I wanted to cry. Manager "Kiera" made excuses for everything & was uninterested in correcting anything. Maaco Corporate office has been unresponsive after a month & 7 calls attempting to resolve this. 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis whole car painted and still peeling at trim area. Tried to fix 2 times and still not good.

This business did a lousy job painting my classic auto. Over spray EVERYWHERE, windows convertible top and even the wheels. VERY POOR QUALITY!!!! When asked about it they got almost belligerent about it saying (WELL, your going to get some over spray) Also found places that did not get painted properly. I could have done better in my own garage. In fact ONE YEAR later I finally got everything cleaned up. I will NEVER use again or recommend to anyone. read more
