Poor service and terrible communication. Have had my car for over 3 months. One clown manager tried to cop an attitude for me being pissed off for them having my car for so long. He had the wrong one. This is the kind of service you get from these clowns. Negative 5 stars if I could. Picked up car because I had enough and this is some of the piss poor work. read more

Maaco (1300-B 5th Ave, Columbus, GA) for a paint job. She saved her own money and paid $1,800 for this service. When we picked it up on 05/30/2025, we immediately raised concerns about the quality. The shop told us to bring the car back on 08/01/2025 for corrections. When we picked it up again on 08/25/2025, the situation was much worse: The driver's side door handle cover was broken off. The rear hatch, which we specifically paid to have painted, was never painted. There was paint overspray on the window trim, windows, vehicle emblems, and light fixtures. There was paint on the seats inside the car, and even a visible paint fingerprint on the backseat passenger door. The "fix" left the entire car looking like someone had taken a Brillo pad to it -- the paint is now dull and uneven. The paint job has already begun chipping and bubbling. Even more upsetting, when my daughter questioned the work, the owner berated her. She handled her concerns respectfully and appropriately, but instead of helping, the owner threatened to call the police on my 17-year-old daughter. At that point, we left. We have photo and video documentation of the damages and how she was treated. When we asked the office for help contacting corporate, they told us to "call corporate" but refused to provide a phone number or assist in reaching them. I will 100% be sending a formal demand letter to Maaco corporate and pursuing legal action if needed, and I encourage anyone else who has had a similar experience to do the same. read more

We got the hood of our mustang re painted. We got it back with dirt in the paint and damaged the finder with the sander. We took it back to be fixed and was told we had to pay more for them to fix it, and trash gets in there. It'll buff out! We are out money DONT go here. read more

I took my truck for an estimate on the repair Right bedside damage and two other place told me they have to replace all the panel. And when I took it to MAACO MR. Cantrell gave me an price for just the repair of just the area below the tail light. On January the 6th I took the truck to Mr. Cantrell and I was surprise that two days later he call and told me the truck is ready. I was believing that with the damage cause by my trailer it may take a week or more. And when I got to see the area it look like never happen. I was amaze how fast was done. Thank a lot MR. Cantrell and also the repairman great job. Nobody want to come back anything could happen but I got my place and you can count on it. read more

I do not recommend this MAACO. Didn't reinstall one of my taillights so I had to do it myself; the windshield wiper sprayers were not reinstalled; several paint drips found; they painted over dust or dirt particles and the license plate lights, so now there is dust or dirt in the paint. I didn't notice there was damage to one of the corners which appeared to have occurred while the vehicle was parked on their lot. I'm sure they'll say there was no damage and I must've hit something. Obvious dings which were supposed to be fixed, were not. If you need a paint job, don't get it done here. read more

3 vehicles, 1 accidents, one tree fallen during storm and a deer running into my teen at night on freeway. This shop and Hunter and his staff have gone over and above EVERY single time from working with our insurance to handing out keys at final day. Our vehicles have always come back looking beautiful and if there is ever anything missed it has been taken care of in a flash with a sincere apology. I would recommend MAACO IN Columbus Ga for ALL of your repairs and painting needs 100% every single time!!! read more

I decided to use this company to get my car fixed after someone hit the back of my car. The trunk was stuck open. It will close now but usually only after slamming it down many times!! I feel like they cut corners. This new trunk didn't have a trunk light either, which I depended on. At first, I liked these guys, but now I think they are very shady. If they make you any promises, get it in writing!! I even had to ask for the $100 they had left over from the insurance company! They wouldn't have given it to me if I didn't ask. When I picked up my car, they looked like the cat that ate the canary. It was very clear to me that they made a lot of profit from this deal, yet they said they had to keep pressuring the insurance company. They received almost $3000 to fix the trunk of a 2001 car that only cost me $3500. To top it off, they left the windows open. They had my car sitting in their lot with the windows open! My seats got wet. There were moths inside my back window where I can't get to to get them out!! I called them and left messages and they never called me back! There's more, but bottom line - Don't go here! read more
