We went with the chicken stuffed naan, saag paneer, and butter chicken. The saag paneer was super delicious. So were the other two dishes but the saag paneer really stole the show. Would love to be back to try more dishes, specially their pizzas too!

Then I tried the naan and it barely had a hint of garlic definitely no traditional buttery naan flavor. It tasted like pizza dough. Strike two. Lastly, I tried the basmati rice and it was bland. Strike 3. I looked up towards the counter and really examined the layout. That's when I finally put it together and reality sunk in. This is not an Indian restaurant that also serves Indian inspired pizza, this is a pizzeria that serves Indian inspired food & Indian inspired pizza. If you go there expecting authentic Indian food, you will be highly disappointed. If you've never had Indian food before, or maybe tried it once or twice, I can see you liking their food. The staff are nice and I don't want this to come off as negative but I do feel like this spot is overhyped for what it actually is. I have to be honest. The influencer did the family a solid by promoting them.

There is a small seating area with a cute retro modern look. The staff is pretty barebones, but cordial. I tried fred's meat and bread, placing my order through the app (took about 15 minutes). The burger was absolutely amazing. It was juicy and the toppings complimented it well. The garlic fries were not SO fresh, and the garlic was a bit old. The regular fries are tasty, although a bit salty. As for the cookie, it was very dry. Reheating it in a toaster over helped a little. Huge, and tasty, but dry and crumbly. Seems like this place gets a lot of delivery orders, because the drivers were in and out constantly. I'd definitely try it again.

It wasn't as greasy as I'd expected which is good. I'd skip the onion rings next time, they had a very slim slice on onion and was more breading than anything. The place is clean, bright and pretty spacious. Took it to go but there are a few tables to stay and eat at.

You've really went downhill. Everything is dreadfully smaller for the same price. You used to have a giant fluffy egg square on your breakfast sandwich and now I've gotten one lumpy small egg drenched in so much overly spicy sauce - that used to be more soft and palatable, I can't even taste anything else, to compensate for the lack of sandwich for over $12. Insane. The fries were the highlight of my meal and that's really saying a lot. $6.50 for one of the smallest iced coffees I've ever received... I think you're staying open on highway robbery alone. Or that the gentrifiers just don't give a damn. Honestly, I could've gotten something better at the Bodega for less than $35 after the Uber fees. I feel bad leaving this honestly, but... how you go from such a wonderfully established place to some dreadful experience is just sad. Do better, become yourself again, because unfortunately I won't be ordering anymore.

And don't judge this place if it's a teeny bit less-than-pristine. Judge them by their friendly attitude and their cheerful demeanor, despite having to deal with all kinds of drunken slobs in the middle of the night / during the earliest morning hours. Judge them also by their tasty food; Don't get me wrong, this isn't exactly Michelin-star material but it does the trick. I tried their lamb with hot sauces on a bed of rice and lettuce, and it tasted like the sweetest divine ambrosia mixed with Scooby snacks. Or something. I'm told the bacon will be a few extra minutes. No problem. Upon tilting my head upward 20 degrees I spy moldy bagels sitting in a bag behind the counter. Not a good omen. As my bacon is cooking, I peruse their collection of fresh produce (mangoes, watermelon, and even cilantro), organic protein bars, and snack foods imported from Japan. A nice selection. The sandwiches appear on the counter and they're assembled with the wrong kind of bread. Maybe I forgot to clarify. I asked the roll to be swapped out with a croissant and the guy making the sandwiches was really polite and accommodating. A few minutes later, I get my sandwich, take a bite, and notice my cheddar was replaced with some kind of spicy cheese. On a stale croissant.
