I had five different stucco companies come out to give me a bid for repair work around a window, and John was the only one who actually started from a place of curiosity, asking me questions about the issue. You can tell right away that he's a person of solid character who has also mastered his craft. He took the time to first understand my problem, and then he walked me through the solution with so much patience and clarity (never condescending, just genuinely helpful). Not only was his bid very competitive, but he even took the time to review a competitor's quote with me and pointed out exactly where I was being overcharged for work I didn't even need. He and his son, Garrison, are really solid people. Even though he's a stucco expert and not a leak detection specialist, he went well above and beyond by helping me troubleshoot with a water test to make sure we found the actual source of the leak. For the stucco work that was required, he handled the repairs beautifully. Just as importantly, John identified work that wasn't necessary. If you want someone good-natured, patient, and truly an expert who cares about the final result, call these guys.

As a consumer, you are constantly researching and comparing other companies to decide on the best…read morefit for your house needs. I am writing this review to explain why I chose Alamao Remodel Stucco to remodel my house: 1) Extremely satisfied with customer service. Gerardo Alamo the owner is an active listener, patient, open minded, and responsive. This made it easier for me to communicate with him. 2) Price is decent and affordable. Gerardo worked with my financial budget without any upselling schemes. 3) Timing was on point. From start to finish it went well. 4) The employees work efficiently, hard workers, and fast! The team of workers worked well together which made the job go smoothly. 5) The quality and detail of the work is impressive! I can't say enough about how satisfied we are with our stucco remodel. 6) Any issues we found were addressed immediately. 7) Because of the stucco remodel, our house is the center of attention and nicest on the hilltops of Carlsbad, CA. 8) Lastly, I like that Gerardo the owner provided me with list of client references and numbers to refer to for questions. This gave me the oppurtunity to interview past clients which positively influenced my decision about going with Gerardo. Overall, I hope I was able to convince you to choose this company. Again, Thank you Gerardo Alamo Remodel Stucco.

Called to confirm, Gerardo mentions he would have to come later that day received NO CALL, have left messages NO replies back since. WORK ETHICS and CARELESS PRACTICES. They had completed a project at my home approx. 6 years ago. I am experiencing some issues and would like to have them look at the job for assessment. Bottom line it was job they contracted and have an obligation to back -up work at least according to the guarantee of materials / workmanship. I know since my job was done the company has undergone some changes. This is for future prospects looking for confirmation of GOOD BUSINESS currently not showing once JOB is completed they will honor their work. VERY DISHEARTENING!!! Look at other companies This one has obviously disappointed a few maybe even some that didn't bother to comment wanted to give them a fighting chance seems they dont GIVE 2 S#!t$

Mark was prompt with a call back, cordial and professional, and was available always to discuss the job and answer questions. He laid out very clearly that my home did not really need a restucco, and that the more affordable option was to paint, but that decision would put me on a path to repainting every 7-10 years whereas a restucco would last 15-30 years. He provided a very competitive quote for a restucco of my home and a secondary quote for just the repairs to prep the house for repainting. In the end, we went the painting route primarily on budget constraints and future plans for the house 10 years out. We hired Mark and New Creation for the repair work, signed scope of work contract and had New Creation out for the work within 2 days. The team was there on-time, ready to go on project day, they stayed on task and completed the project exactly as he described they would (half day initial prep, stucco breakout, screed replacement, brown coat, patch and finish, with an hour or two clean up and walkthrough). During the walkthrough I noticed the crew patched up about 10 feet more surface area (no screed replacement, just patching) than we had agreed to, which was fine by me and I expect will be fine by the painters when they come and do the minor patching they do to prep for painting. There was no extra charge for the additional work, and I certainly appreciated the little extra. Would certainly recommend obtaining an estimate from New Creation, quality professionals, no BS.
