We needed a company that we could trust and we needed one quickly to avert potentially losing our homes and endangering residents. RWR was recommended to us by Miller Pacific Engineering, a geo-technical company contracted by the County of Marin for providing direction in these types of disasters. RWR came out to the site immediately that day, and Tony mobilized his crew and heavy machinery needed to do the job the same day. We only had six days before another rain storm was forecast to stabilize the hillside and ensure our safety, so Tony's ability to mobilize his crew so quickly and efficiently was critical. It is never easy to endure a disaster ... and when you find out homeowners insurance covers nothing it adds to the incredible stress. But Tony was amazing. He was available any time i called, whether it was early morning, or late at night. He was totally transparent in terms of costs and included every receipt in his invoice. No one wants to spend money on dirt, but I am thankful we had Tony and RWR behind us. They removed all the extensive brush from our hillside, trucked away 120 yards of mud and securely placed flexible piping on all drains emptying onto that hillside and placed plastic & sandbags across the area to secure it temporarily until we can put in place a permanent solution. It means a lot to know your house is safe and working with RWR and Tony Camacho really helped ease the stress of a hard situation. I'd recommend them to strongly to anyone in a similar situation.

We researched and interviewed a number of local contractors, but after we interviewed Fontana Construction of Marin on a friend's recommendation, we knew we'd found the right firm. Fontana was everything we could have hoped for and more, especially during that very stressful time. Extremely client focused and quality conscious, Stevan Fontana's team managed every aspect of the rebuild with consummate professionalism, including prompt communication, regular on-site meetings, and friendly collaboration with our architect and the city of Santa Rosa. Fontana and their reliable subs used high quality fire-resistant building methods and materials. When issues arose, Fontana was reasonable, fair and had our backs at every stage. We are saddened to hear about problems that other rebuilding homeowners have had with their building professionals in addition to all the stress brought on by the fires and their aftermath. Fontana earned our trust and built us a beautiful home on schedule. They have earned our gratitude and our highest recommendation.

Ivan's communication and attention to detail are what sets him apart. These details are vital in a construction project when so many things can go wrong and can lead to friction. Ivan treats the project like a team with the homeowner. When other miscommunications occur with manufacturers or subcontractors, he's also exceptional at troubleshooting any unexpected issues that arise.
