They do a thorough inspection and let me know if there is anything starting to fail before it fails. I have been going to M-Service since 2012 and have mixed feelings about the place. I remember there were quick to diagnose faults and repair them effectively at reasonable time and price in comparison to BMW dealers around such as BMW Concord. But, things has changed and the current inflation period have turned them more greedy and less concern about their customers financial concerns...! While I do believe they perform good work and have a good attitude, when it comes to ask for the repair quote from them, they have the highest that I have received, even higher than BMW Concord which is known to have the highest labor rates in East Bay....! And this applies to both Parts and labor. Their markups for parts are 150% to more than 250%, even for genuine OEM parts authorized by BMW that you can find online at discounted price for a lot lot less...! Their labor cost are more than $200 per hour...! I won't go back there any longer since there are other quality BMW shops around that are more reasonable in both parts and labor costs. BTW- don't rely on the reviews on their website since they do not publish the one, two and three star reviews...! read more

I've taken both my cars to M Service for many years. My Mercedes was just out of its major warrantee, but Dante always made sure to let me know if something should still be covered so I could take it to the dealer to be handled. My BMW is much older, and Dante and Scott have helped me keep it running like new and have also helped get it looking better as well. On my BMW I had five or six things that needed to be taken care of. They prioritized what needed to be done immediately, (safety concerns) and what I could get fixed over the next year or so, and my car is running better than ever. Brought my 2017 Range Rover into Dante to get the brakes serviced. Not only did they complete the service hundreds of dollars below the quote I received from the dealer, but they also found that a I had a coolant leak in the back of the engine from a part that is notorious for leaking and eventually bursting. He suggested I get it repaired immediately by the dealer because it was covered under warranty. I was impressed that they caught this leak before it became a nightmare even though it wasn't even near the job they were performing. I called M Service the day before to get my new battery coded (or registered) on my BMW E90 335XI. Spoke with Scott initially who quote me $75, made an appointment for the next day at 8AM. Jim took care of everything and the shop did a complimentary inspection and topped off my coolant cuz the level was low. They also gave me a summary of some upcoming maintenance that would have to be done. Nothing unusually, it was mostly the stuff I was already aware of. It's great that the shop took care of this and definitely reminds their customers of what they should be aware of. The shop is extremely CLEAN! There's free wifi and complimentary "grocery" bag on your way out! M Service will now be my go to shop since my usual shop moved further away. Great service! read more

Obviously only used to working with warranties and insurance companies and as a result charging exorbitant rates, if you actually pay the bill yourself, this is not the place to go, they are very generous, to themselves, with your insurance company's $. read more
