Friday, January 23rd, 2026 Approx. 11:30 AM OVERVIEW: YES! In this age of high inflation, this place helps out your appetite AND your budget! PROS: - A full lunch buffet for only $10.95 ?!? - A full dinner buffet for only $ 11.95 ?!? - Good entree selections - Flavor of food is commensurate with the price - Great service - Clean dining area & bathrooms CONS: - The location is a bit off of the beaten track and the parking lot is quite small SUMMARY: YES, I will definitely be coming again when I'm hungry for Chinese food. Y'all should definitely give this place a try if you're feeling the same ...

Here we have chow mein, sweet and sour pork, bbq pork, brocolli beef.

Service is always 100. Ambiance very low key. Food os always switching for fresh. It is a staples with awesome prices whether its a to go order or dine in.

I came with a group of 30 people. And the staff were super nice. They were checking on us as much as they could. Food very good. The place is small but with a very nice and warm atmosphere. Even in winter I would definitely come back.

Was heading to the in-laws and decided to pickup food, did a quick search on Yelp and found M Kitchen. Exited 99 South and ended up driving through the country which felt like we were on our way to nowhere before ending up in an industrial looking iffy part of town. Parked and was debating going in because of the area, while parked 3 families arrived, asked one of the families if the place was good and they let us know it was their family favorite that had something for everyone. Went in and the place was surprisingly large, open, clean and the food looked good. Found out it was a buffet and prices are CHEAP. Decided to try the buffet and had the Hubbs and kiddo come in. Both the Hubbs and kiddo loved it, this is fresh Chinese American food with the mandatory fried sweet dishes. I enjoyed the spicy chicken, fresh broccoli, fried shrimp, cream cheese wontons AND what seemed more like Japanese style stuffed jalapeños and stuffed mushrooms. They also had sweet sesame balls. All that for less than $10 for dinner?! 2 adult buffets, kid buffet and a 3-item to go that was so packed that the in-laws had it for dinner & lunch the next day and it came out to less than $40?!?! I felt guilty at how cheap it was and gave a $10 tip. They attract a nice diversity of patrons; families included Black, Filipino, Mexican, White and our mixed bag. Majority of business was food to go. Staff appeared to be the owners, and were very friendly, what seemed like the dad let me know that his favorites are also the mushrooms and jalapeños too. Cherry on top, the restroom was also clean! There is definitely pride of ownership and we enjoyed our dinner and will be back!

Food is great with tasty flavors service is good and had a place to seat plus super cheap They also have an all you can eat for super cheap. also, the inside is very nice and clean and big.

Turn the clock forward a decade and guess what, the food is still outstanding and the service is still attentive and kind. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive for us so we were good and hungry when we got into town. The owner greeted us warmly and a friendly server (her son), came by to help us. We decided to order: Hot & sour soup - heaven in a big bowl. Savory broth filled with delicious ingredients. It was well flavored, not too spicy or tangy Mu shu chicken - 4 pancakes with hoisin sauce. Our server wrapped our first ones for us. The dish contained the typical scrambled egg, sliced cabbage, protein, etc and it was fresh and tasty Beef with asparagus -noted in the entry that asparagus was in season so we had to order it. Meat was tender and the asparagus was cooked beautifully House chow mein - Fried perfectly and not doused in a bunch of sauce or oil. The protein on this dish was plentiful and it was simple and delicious. I loved how they didn't add chives/green onion to these dishes. The hot & sour soup had a few little green onions for color but this is the first time I've been to a Chinese restaurant that doesn't overfill the dishes with onions (as I don't like onions). Maybe that's the reason I enjoyed everything so much. Portions are very generous! We had lots of yummy leftovers. Our server told us that two of his brothers were the chefs. My kudos to them; they certainly know how to cook!

Their entire menu is incredibly affordable (a la carte dishes are ~$12 and lunch special combination plates are ~$11 on average) with generous portion sizes. The general chicken is a MUST! Such a flavorful sauce. My order is not complete without this dish, there's really just nothing like it. I also highly recommend their spicy pepper ribs and mongolian beef. I'm pretty picky about chow mein and theirs is unmatched; I love the flavor and especially the thicker noodles they use. Service is always really quick, the staff truly treats customers like family, and the food comes out hot and fresh every time. It's an unassuming hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but such a gem! They have a loyal customer for life in me.

Kung Pao Chicken 10/10 The chicken was flavorful, hot (temp not spice!), veggies were cooked to perfection came with peanuts, zucchini, green bell peppers and onions. Fried Rice 5/10 it was just rice with eggs and some soy sauce and it was a little on mushy side for my liking. Didn't give me fried rice vibes. Fried wonton chips 10/10 definitely shouldn't be eating these grease filled treats, but the crunch was so satisfying! However, service was nice, everyone was welcoming. Inside was super clean which is appreciated. I'll definitely be back to try something different next time.

Saturday, December 27th, 2025, Approx. 12:57 PM…read more QUICK SUMMARY: Delicious Bang for the Buck. A definite try !!! It was a lazy Saturday afternoon after Christmas, and I wanted to try some new Chinese food in North Stockton. This venue had good reviews on Yelp & Google, so I decided to give this place a try and order take-out food. The menu had some daily lunch specials for under $11.00 and this was the route I took. PROS: - Had the Pork Chow Mein, House Chicken & Mongolian Beef. All were delicious. Was surprised at how spicy the Mongolian Beef was, but this was the best of the three dishes. The Pork Chow Mein was well garnished and visually appealing. The House Chicken had the most volume, but I believe that the chicken had been fried some time prior to my visit, and was warmed up / had finishing touches applied, upon receipt of my order. - While waiting for my order I noticed the tasteful interior decor, which gives off a nice dining atmosphere. Especially if one were only ordering a lunch special, it would be a great environment to enjoy your $10.95 & CA State Tax meal. - Further to the above, the prices are a BARGAIN in this era of high inflation. Even the non-lunch special items only go for $12 - $13 bucks. CONS: - The Fried Rice which came with the meal was below my expectations, as it only is white rice with soy sauce and fried eggs sprinkled on top. (See attached pictures.) NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: C'mon folks, I know that you're trying to keep overhead low, but this is not fried rice in any shape or form. Better to just serve white rice and not serve fake fried rice. CONCLUSION: If they had proved better Fried Rice in my order, I'd give this place 5 Stars. But for the price I paid for my meal, I was very satisfied. Thus. if you're in on Hammer Lane and want a good Chinese meal for your hard earned money, this place is an excellent go-to option.

People in my family also liked the stir-fried beef with wide rice noodles, kung pao chicken, and whole pieces of fried chicken. The one desert was sesame balls. There were also tempura-style veggies and fries. No fresh vegetables or fruit, but they had stir-fried broccoli. There were also egg rolls and crab rangoon. Simple tables and chairs, 2 bathrooms (with disposable seat covers available), and disposable plates, forks, cups, etc. Floor was just a little sticky. You just walk right in, grab a plate, and start loading up. Once you sit down, someone will bring drinks. While there, many people came in for the to-go options. When we went to pay our bill, they also offered a $4.95 kids price. What? Not sure how they survive! Would definitely come back if I were a local.

I found this place online, called, placed my order. Upon driving up... I was not happy, it was the corner spot of the lot, there's no seating inside, you walk in and you can't see the food be made, they have this table blocking the way to get inside the rest of the building which is just empty... The place honestly looks shut down. I hate that I couldn't see anywhere in the back where the food was being cooked, the lady kept yelling at the man in the back. She wasn't too welcoming when I walked in either. Then, I pay, tip $8. She tells me it'll be a 10 min wait, I walk around the lot.. get back, and I ask for 1 hot oil and she's going to say "we charge for that, that'll be $1.50!" I say okay, hand her my card and then she says "$6 minimum or a 75 cent charge." Like lady? I tipped $8 on a 14 meal..... can I just have the hot oil at this point. So I said that's fine, she charged me and I went on my way. Sadly, I won't be returning. Not only because ambience and staff, but food wasn't too hot either, super under seasoned and that's saying a lot because I'm on a kidney friendly diet for the MOST part lol.
