I was here for the Championship trophy siting and grabbed some gear. It is in the mix of downtown and parking can be scarce. I did manage to find a spot. I did notice that the store had been expanded. It had 2 floors with a variety of merchandise. The space made this occasion great because the line was all inside for seeing and taking a picture with the trophy. It wrapped through the store and not outside. There is gear all around. Clothing for school related programs, hats, and coats. It's a great place to check out and grab some Meeechigan attire. read more

Stopped by to pick up some baby clothes to send overseas... spent about 30 mini shopping for what I needed. Maybe it's the perception but I feel like this place has more items than the store at the mall. Staff were friendly, easy to find what you need, all your U of M apparels under one roof. Street parking or the structure. They do have some products that are cheap, but depending on what you get, expect to spend some money. read more

Great store, amazing amount of gear, PACKED on game weekend, difficult to find someone if you had a question or needed a fitting room. Anyway, still rocked. Also, they have the best customer service if you call to order something online. Top notch! Go Blue! read more

I live in Tampa and several years in a row, despite an influx of orders, M-Den has received in bowl game/ championship merchandise last minute and still been able to get it delivered in time for gifting! I have placed several orders a year for many years and they have always been super helpful! Top notch customer service. I have purchased all categories throughout the years and everything has been high quality. The Memorabilia came will all certificates. read more

The worst PLACE IN Ann Arbor for Michigan Shirts and things. No Plus Sizes, Like 3x for those of us who are 6 foot 3 and 230. SO I have LOST all RESPECT for this place. Even when I called the store they were very rude and Unhelpful. So I will no longer waste my Money at this place. AND WAY OVER PRICED TERRIBLE VALUE, OR YOU CAN SAY A LOUSY VALUE. read more

Hard to beat if needing gear, from specific dept and sport appellations to panoramic shots of various games (like the epic OSU defeat!), the place is the place to go for all that is UM branded. Quality is better than some of the less well constructed stuff, and expect the clothing to last one long time. But why take the chance - just get more stuff for the onward generations of UM alums and fans in your family! Both this and the State Street store are wonderful - the biggest issue is what to buy next! read more

never got my order. I had to do all the follow up. they continue to blame champion but looks like from news reports they just don't pay their bills. I don't expect them to stay in business much longer working like this. wouldn't even give a star if that was an option. read more

LOVE this place! pricey, but daaaang, they have a good selection. i can't get enough of the place! workers are nice and place is always packed! get M-geared up! read more

Michigan world HQ. you can spend as much as you want to take a little bit of UM back home. Sales people are friendly and check on you, but didn't shadow us. read more

I ordered things on January 12 knowing my stuff wouldn't ship until January 26.I called on the 26th to confirm and a woman told me the rest of my order was in. Two days later I get an email saying that they couldn't meet the deadline after I was told my stuff was there. They tried saying 7-10 days more to wait for another shipment but couldn't guarantee. I ordered something from a competitor and got my stuff in 2 days!! Don't know who dropped the ball but I'm not very happy!!!! Not sure if I will buy from them again. They lied and I don't understand why they didn't send an email on the 26th not 2 days later. Very disappointed read more

So this is the official store of Michigan Athletes. They have a great selection of every M apparels and huge area for novelties. I was overwhelmed. This is just one of the M Den locations in Ann Arbor. There are other 2 locations. They carry the M Alumni Association gears too! read more

Clean, posh, as expected. Lots of Lululemon. The fancy area is much more relaxing than the rest of the store. Checkout was soooo fast. read more

Came here on move in day and it was packed! In spite of hundreds in the store the line moved quickly and employees took time for our questions. The best M-Den with the best selection. One example, we bought a bean-bag chair for our son and the employee carried this heavy box down the street to the parking garage to our car and loaded it for us; he was polite, helpful, cheerful the entire time. It is worth the trip. read more

Just a disclaimer up front - I don't care about the University of Michigan, or their football team, or any other college's football team, either. I am, in a word, unaffiliated, as far as college sports go. That said, nothing succeeds like excess, and here's your proof. So many different types of things branded with the UM logo. Hyper-consumerism, focused like a laser on those folks who must have a UM deck of playing cards, UM golf balls, UM shoes, UM shirts, UM mobile phone covers, etc. I can appreciate this sort of targeted marketing. And this sort of capitalistic effort. And, I can also appreciate this sort of genuine fanaticism, even if I don't participate in it. So, I was agog at all the choices for the UM fan in this store. The University of Michigan! Woo-hooo! And, of course, Murica! Yeah, you got that right, buddy! read more

Your one-stop-shop for all things Michigan! Though I often mourn the demise of Steve and Barry's, the M-Den moved in to this spot on Main St. in Ann Arbor and is making killing! This store literally has everything to meet your Michigan needs including clothing, accessories, housewares and furniture (yes, Michigan lounge chairs). The prices are reasonable and there is even a "discount section" upstairs where all shirts are under $10. I bought my "Allez les bleues" t-shirt here, which is awesome (they have Spanish, Korean, Hebrew, French, etc.). Stop in if you haven't yet - what are you waiting for? read more

If you need some UM swag, you will certainly find it here! The store is clean and well-organized. There are lots of staff to help you find what you're looking for. They have fitting rooms too! A lot of the stuff is pretty pricey, but they have a substantial clearance selection and i can always find a good deal there. read more

Pretty nice place to pick up all your U of M shwag. Prices (upstairs) are pretty reasonable, and there's an amazing variety of merchandise to buy. I just wish Northwestern had a store like this. read more

This is a great store and I think the Main Street location is the best one to go to. It is always clean, the employees are friendly, and they have a great selection of clothing. There are lots of other little shops around town but I think that the M-Den has the best selection of clothing and gifts. It is a must stop for any UM fan and it is in a convenient location. Lots of good stores and restaurants in this area and I recommend it to all out-of-towners, alumni, and fans. read more

This is the place to go for anything UM! Incredible selection on two floors at the main store in Ann Arbor. We got several UM Bicentennial items at great savings! A must stop for us whenever we head back to Michigan. Go Blue!! read more

Oh this place has just about everything. You can even order from their website like I did. You can't go wrong with The M Den. Plus you might find more maize and blue that you won't find in other retail stores. May be packed for game day....but either way enjoy and Go Blue! read more

ordered online before Christmas was told the order wouldn't be here till after Christmas. fine but I to find out we're my order was it got lost in transit. so I call the store and the manager excuses himself from responsibility by putting blame on the warehouse. The warehouse blames UPS, UPS says only the MDen can do an investigation into where my package is and Mden says again it'sa warehouse inside too bad. I'll never buy from your store online, at the game, or any retail store again. not good customer service people, not good. buyers beware. read more

This store is the real deal! It is always kept clean, always has endless amount of options, I am always impressed with the fun accessories I find that I can't find anywhere else! This is a wonderful store -GO BLUE!! read more

Wow!!! This store is huge and has a massive selection, there's almost too much crammed in here!!! Lots to see and the store has 2 floors, you could seriously get lost in here. I'd say the merchandise is pretty on-par price wise but most items are still too expensive for me. Great place for any Michigan fan, also plenty of great places around here to eat. read more

I recently visited the M Den in Downtown Ann Arbor. I was simple blown away. The variety of merchandise is second to none. Anyone looking for anything Maize and Blue this is the spot. The only thing more outstanding than the choice in merchandise was the staff. They were just fabulous. Literally all questions were answered. They helped with sizes, colors, brands, and everything else. The only regret I have is that I can only rate this review at 5 stars. It really deserves 50! read more

Very nice place to get UM items. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable on Michigan history (today I learned that Detroit was originally the capitol of Michigan, and why it was changed to Lansing). read more

This place is aMAZing! Their friendly staff and personalized customer service is like no other. They actually want to help you and satisfy your needs. Their merchandise selection is high quality and abundant. And if you call and get placed on hold, you don't even mind waiting because the Michigan marching band playing the fight song entertains you. read more

The item I bought was said to arrive at a certain day but then did not arrive until three days later (without any very bad weather). I called to complain but the women basically blamed me. Very rude, do not think they are very customer friendly. Beware. read more

We stopped at the Main St. location this morning to look for a lap throw. We found that and so much more! I agree with another reviewer that the store was clean and the employers were friendly and helpful. My husband shops here, but today I came in to buy a poster for a charity fundraising project. The folks here were kind and helpful and bless their hearts, they decided to donate a print of Michigan Stadium to a local charity organization. I understand that merchandise purchased at M Den results in greater direct support for University of Michigan athletic programs than other vendors. Go M Den! read more
