I was greeted by Gary and Michael. I explained my issue. Immediately, Michael told me what was going to be involved and the approximate cost. When I returned to pickup my car, they had installed a new AC DELCO THERMOSTAT and GASKET. They pressure checked the coolant system for leaks. I brought in my car for inspection because I live two blocks away (I'm a woman so he probably felt he could pull a fast one). He then called me to tell me my car failed inspection because the rotors and pads were completely worn which was BS because I had recently brought the car to my regular service provider who mentioned they were in the yellow zone but didn't need to be changed for a while. I declined the brake service at Nick's and when I got there, he had removed my old inspection sticker and had an invoice ready for the brakes and inspection - $750! I guess he wanted to make it difficult for me to drive away forcing me to pay him to do the brake work. He was very arrogant and rude. Luckily, I was able to bring the car to my regular service provider to perform the inspection who also confirmed the car shouldn't have failed inspection due to brakes.

This was my first visit back since the location had been shut down previously, and unfortunately, my experience was not positive. On January 25, 2025, I visited your store needing an oil change and informed the service advisor, Gary, that one of my rear tires had a slow leak. After approximately 30 minutes, I was told that the service was complete. When I inquired about my tire, Gary initially stated there was nothing wrong with it. However, upon further insistence from my side, he checked again but maintained there was no issue, suggesting I should purchase two new rear tires instead. I reminded him of the warranty on my tires, expecting some assistance, but was quoted $420 for the replacement under warranty. This seemed excessive, and when I protested, the price was suddenly reduced to $220. Feeling pressured and unsatisfied with the handling of the situation, I decided to leave without resolving the tire issue. This experience left me feeling disrespected and led me to believe that the initial diagnosis might have been an attempt to push unnecessary sales. I felt scammed and manipulated, especially with the significant price reduction once I questioned the cost.
