The cake itself was really good and moist and one of the better cakes I've had from places in the area, especially compared to something that you would pick up at a supermarket. I recently decided to order a cake for my own party. The owner is really nice to deal with and will give you a lot of ideas for what you would could put in a cake. She has a menu but is open to pretty much any suggestion you have. I settled with a red velvet cake with Southern Comfort in it. Thankfully I was just as happy the second time around as I was the first time.. The liquor complimented the cake so nicely, was not over- or underpowering in any way and we still talk about it 3 months later because we can't wait to try another one.
