Found this location online made a call to make sure that they have the type of apples that I was looking for the gentleman, said he did not have that one in particular, but he was willing to make it for me so he took down what I would like on my Apple. I placed the order in the very next day. My apple was freshly made in the morning and I was ready to pick it up My intention was to go into the store and get one apple but as soon as I walked in the store, it was very overwhelming with beautiful chocolates and my husband decided that he wanted a half pound box of chocolates. Everything was made by the owners. They are very nice and informative. Everything was very fresh and very flavorful . Our total came to about $35 very reasonable. I was looking to buy some fudge for my father for Father's Day. I went to the chocolate mousse and they had a variety of different fudge. They're all individually wrapped so they stay fresh. Although I am not a fudge fan myself, my father and mother both loved it, said It was delicious. read more

I was looking for a box of chocolate covered strawberries as an anniversary gift. I stopped in at Chocolate Moose on a Saturday. They informed me they only make them on a per order basis since they use organic strawberries which would not last long in the counter. I was looking to have them for that following Monday, of which Chocolate Moose is normally closed. So it looked like I was out of luck. But the owners told me they would be happy to order and have them ready for me to pickup on Monday afternoon. As they are sometimes in the store for cleanup and prep for the coming week. Awesome!!! I pulled into the lot on Monday. The store looked closed. Just when I thought I might be out of luck, the owner opened the door and waved me in. Cute little candy and gift shop. I stopped in here on a hot sunny day to cool off and to check things out. The Chocolate Moose offers homemade chocolates (boxed & chosen from the display case), candy apples (numerous candy toppings to choose from), candies, baked goods, cards, gift sets, cool t-shirts, games, puzzles, jar goods, balloons, gift wrapping, and much more. A gift box of assorted chocolates runs around $15. Also, on the main downstairs level, they also have a cafe which serves ice cream treats, paninis, soups, hot dogs, coffee, bottled beverages, and cookies with a couple small tables and a TV. I got a big bowl (Papa Bear size) of Moose Tracks ice cream, vanilla ice cream with chunks of chocolate bars including peanut butter cups. Very refreshing! Although, the store is a bit cramped, I was pretty impressed with the shop offerings. I will be back again. It's a great and easy place to pick up small gifts, chocolates, and treats for the family and friends. Next time, I'll have to try the Pumpkin ice cream and pick up some candy apples. I had first purchased this item back at Christmas and the recipient absolutely loved it so I ordered 4 more for Valentine's Day. I can't thank the owner's enough for making up the sugar free one's as well as the regular because the elderly lady who received hers was taken back by how beautiful and thoughtful this gift was. And my best friend who received the other one is an artist/ crafter and couldn't get over how beautiful these came out. The chocolate boxes with the fancy ribbons went to my elderly (86) mother's neighbor (83), and she cried because she hadn't received Valentine's chocolates since the death of her husband ten year's ago. Everything I've purchased at your wonderful store is always of the best quality and freshest ingredients. Don't get me gushing over the HUGE chocolate dipped apples, which are a feast to the eyes and tummy. They've gotten rave reviews from everyone I've given them to. To start, I have never been in there but always wanted to stop in! So, this Valentine's morning, BBB surprised me with the hub's help to a box of chocolates from here It was so sweet and also literally sweet! I have a sweet tooth especially for chocolate! We have finished half of the box, between BBB and I hehehe. BBB was all smiles and knew this was special to having all these yummy chocolates. The hub said he chocolate is made by them, and it is fantastic chocolate! I love how he went local instead of any of the giant chocolate companies too! The hub said they were great with BBB (under 3 yo) and treated him to a piece of chocolate I think I have a new favorite chocolate place! I just need to go in person! I'm updating my review and removing a star because the key to a great local business is being able to access that business. Unfortunately, the hours they keep are awful. I've stopped in to buy chocolate for my wife on 2-3 occasions and they've been closed. Once is a bummer, but 3 times is an issue and I will no longer waste time even trying to buy from them and instead head to Sweet Lydia's in downtown Lowell. They've never once been closed when I've headed there after The Chocolate Moose was closed. I suggest they hire someone for $10/hour and keep normal business hours. IF you stop by and they happen to be open you will be VERY pleased with the quality and their prices cannot be touched. Quality of chocolate is amazing - my wife loves everything they make. They are very polite, the chocolate is great and this is my go to place for all special occasions. You won't be disappointed, trust me! read more

I have never been to The Chocolate Moose. BUT, I have had their yummy candy. Our vendor brought them down to our office in CT and I have to say this candy is way better than our local chocolate.. On Friday the 7,my boyfriend and I went to the 42nd New Hampshire RV show in Milford, NH. Although I had never been to the candy store, I was delighted when I saw The Chocolate Moose stand. I was craving some sweet... The presentation of the stand was mouth watering, and I went for the biggest chocolate chip cookie I had ever seen! At first, I thought the chocolate layer on top of the cookie was a bit too much, but I soon changed my mind once I tried it. The inside of the cookie was soft, ,moist and warm and the edges just crunch enough. In addition, they had coffee to follow the cookies which made that experience just perfect! The owner was very nice and patient with me, since I asked my cookie to be warmed. Although he was afraid to destroy the nice presentation, he agreed on warming my cookie little by little until it got to the temperature I wanted. Most important, the chocolate on the top was still intact! The lady at the stand was also very nice when helping me with the payment; which I assumed was his wife and co-owner! The cookie was so big that I left half for latter. As soon as I started to regret not getting their business card or information, I reached for the label. I have not been to their store yet, but I plan on it!! I was at a Holiday Fair in Wilmington and bought some of their little chocolate turtles filled with caramel...YUM!!
