Recall Mom 1st entered a Nursing Home and an aide helped her (as she was confused when 1st there). Mom asked me to get the aide a box of chocolates from Mrs Nelson ($10 box) for helping her. That was years ago ... and I always marvel that they are still that price! Our daughter lives now in NC and I send chocolate (large and small boxes) from Mrs Nelson to her at the Holidays ... all her friends (and a friend's daughter) absolutely love them!!! My daughter's fav (besides the chocolate) is the "black jelly beans" ... while hubby enjoys the "colored jelly beans." And everyone is always so friendly every time I visit!!!

They also have tons of adorable tourist souvenirs, like chocolate witches. I can never leave without grabbing a packet of Gibraltars, their signature snappy candy that melts in your mouth. The mint flavor is my go-to, but they have lemon too. If there's a line, it's worth the wait. It moves pretty quickly and the folks behind the counter are really nice.

My son got some Freeze dried skittles (is this an East coast thing?) and we bought some chocolates, pre-packaged fudge, and old-timey candy.
