It's not luck at all but a little research on Yelp that paid off nicely on locating PC Rehab…read more Thanks to two Elite reviews by friends Lance and Pat my old lap top runs great and my son has a "like new" computer to use for school. There is a lot of demand for PC repairs and locating the right one makes all the difference in the world. When I rolled up on PC Rehab they had great signage in a strip mall by a Farm Fresh Grocery. The lot, sidewalks and store front were clean and attractive. I walked in the store and was greeted by the owner Drew. The business was clean and presented well to customers. The workshop is semi visible in the rear. I discussed repair of my six year old Lenovo that had become bug ridden and needed an updated operating system. I agreed to have the system completely cleaned off which waived a diagnostic cost of around $25. Within 24 hours I got a call back from Drew that he had installed a new operating system with upgraded software and that is was running perfectly. I headed back to the store and my lap top was setting on the counter for pick up. The price for repair and install of new software was very fair. When I got home, turned on my laptop it indeed operated like it was just out of the box. The computer ran so smoothly that I was flabbergasted. Better yet, my son now has a computer he can use for his middle school classes. I think he was more over joyed than me and used it day one with not a single hitch. The professionalism and expertise by PC Rehab was amazing. In an industry where the consumer can easily be taken advantage of, or most likely have inept labor conducting repairs this was completely refreshing. I am already planning on taking another computer in soon. Thank you Drew...

I had a laptop with the black screen of death that needed repair. Though its old and needs to be…read morereplaced, there were a few files that weren't backed up and I needed the thing to run again. So, I came to yelp to find a computer repair shop and PC Rehab was relatively close and well rated. I took it in on a Friday around 10 am and got the call that it was done around noon. They had it back to me with no problems and running great again. The only reason I knocked them down a star was the price. When I dropped it off, I was told the diagnostic was $50 and when I picked it up the total came to $99. Given what I was told was the problem (replace CMOS battery that is maybe five bucks), a $49 charge beyond the diagnostic fee seems a bit high. In addition, I was not given a detailed receipt showing what each service costs. To be fair, however, I didn't ask. The service was fast and efficient and I take some of the blame for not asking more questions on the details of the charges. I would recommend, however, if anyone from PC Rehab reads this, to offer a detailed receipt for work done. All told, I would definitely return to these guys because they clearly know their stuff.

It was actually sent Standard Mail which took forty-two (42) days. Seller did partially reimburse postage cost. Lenovo laptop that arrived only had 4gb RAM/500 gb HDD. Seller denied this as a possibility and initially refused to consider a fix. After evidence was sent to seller that confirmed the problem, seller responded with a take it or leave it offer that guaranteed more cost to buyer. Seller refused to continue communication with buyer until buyer initiated a claim process with PayPal. A settlement was ultimately reached. Reccomend avoiding any purchases from this seller. I trained dozens of new-hire employees and the other 18 supervisors which were hired after me. In Aug 1996 I learned that I was the lowest paid supervisor in the building. After questioning upper management about that and having just received a glowing annual performance review, I was asked by the site director ( I think his name was Rick W.) to resign my position and was accused of having accessed a document that contained pay info on the network. I did access that network document which I had network access to, but it was not labeled as sensitive and I did not access it illegally. I didn't even know what it was until I opened the excel file. I explained this to Mr. W. and the HR director (Julie H.), but they seemed to have it in for me and didn't want to hear my side of the story. Mr. W. illegally searched my personal briefcase and had HR place me on a temporary suspension. I resigned my position later that week no longer desiring to work with any director who was willing to wrongfully accuse me, not listen to my side of the story and who would violate my 4th Amendment Constitutional rights with an illegal search - he found nothing in my briefcase of interest to him. Not to mention being the lowest paid, most senior supervisor ... And he was a retired Navy officer... shameful.
